Store design and set up is great as it is in most of their stores. Fresh and cut fruit selections are pretty good and last longer than some other places. Only downside is it is expensive. Always spend two to three times more at Hannaford than I do on the same items in other stores.

I I havent been to Hannaford in years...I happen to be in the area where I needed to stop to get bread to feed the ducks at the swinging bridge.I will have to say..their display, variety, freshness, and options are amazing. Checkout was also quick regardless of the crowed. At this visit I did sign up for Hannaford rewards prior to checking out, great deals and coupons.

Get everything you need for groceries including liquor at least in some areas (Maine) Love Hannaford‘s hate that the one where I live is no longer Hannaford’s when they changed ownership!

They have an amazing selection of products both local and from around the world - if you cant find it here, you might not need it! The produce is always fresh and well presented, and the staff are friendly. The new self-checkout arrangement is super!

I dont live in Maine but was vacationing in Harpswell and visited this location twice. I was impressed with the cleanliness, selection and pricing.

A huge thank you to Tony at the pharmacy for easing my worries about the COVID-19 vaccine! I had a really pleasant and comfortable experience and would definitely recommend this place as a good place for anyone scared of getting vaccinated!

This location just always has a unique selection I don’t see at all Hannafords. Love this one.

Would be negative stars. Asked pharmacy about pricing for meds and they refused to tell it, my prescription is out of pocket and I need to know before I send the script over. I was rudely told no I cant do that. Cant means wont and this hannaford will never again have my buisness.

The first week open was pretty good with the manager excitedly checking off marks on a clipboard. The second week has an early closed deli, tons of items out of stock and Hannaford not honoring coupons... Im going to go back to Shaws.

Usually, I have nothing but praise for Hannaford. Not happy with my local store. Some nonsense about not being able to get coins has been going on for weeks. Odd that the other Hannaford in Brunswick and the store in the next town isnt experiencing the problem. Nor are any other stores.

New store at cooks very nice and well laid out.

New Cooks Corner location. . . . first visit. The music is so loud and inescapable that we had to shout at each other. . . . kinda like grocery shopping at a nightclub. For some items there are 2000 choices: Do you have 3 hours to hunt through obscure artisanal cheeses? then this is the place for you! . . . but finding garden-variety sharp cheddar proved to be impossible so we gave up. Also, just FYI--an extremely disappointing asian foods section. Wear hiking boots because the store covers about 50 acres and and bring walkie-talkies because once your shopping companion is more than 3 feet away from you, their voice is drowned out by the music.

First visit was not impressive. The produce department was so darn cold I could have used a sweater. The seafood case was underwhelming to say the least. The advertised sale price of chicken thighs was not reflected on our receipt. Many empty spots on the shelves though this may partly be explained by the fact this is just after the holiday weekend and things have also been nuts due to the pandemic. Wanted to check out this new store but, yawn. Will probably go back to the Whitten Ave location in Augusta (about 15 miles north of our home) and mayby try the Cooks Corner location after they get a few months under their belts in hopes they will work the kinks out.

We mostly shop here for produce. Theres usually a good variety and its usually fresh. They try to feature local growers and have some organic. Customers are not universally clear on the basics of mask-wearing, but what can you expect these days...

I love Hannah fit in top song theyre very friendly and they go out of their way feel the one in Brunswick at the self-serve cash registers you have to be very careful because sometimes the cashier is not very friendly

Wonderful selection of fish and quality produce so much better than Walmart.

This store does a fantastic job of enforcing the various Covid requirements, and Brunswick shoppers are very considerate and comply with mask requirements. I like that Google shows you when the store is less busy; I try to shop during those times, (typically the last hour or two at night.) There are larger Hannafords with more products, but this store seems to hit the sweet spot--big enough to have nice produce, but not so big as to make shopping take forever.

They always have their shelves filled. Thats important because you know Hannaford will have it.

We normally dont shop here, we live on the other side of Brunswick and dont often venture over this way. We love the great prices and deals. The manager made it a point to come over and welcome my son and offer him a balloon which made his night!

A very good produce store. Id say theyre very essential to the Brunswick community. Theyre usually in stock on most common produce items and the store observes good social distancing policies in light of Covid-19. Theres also a pharmacy and to-go area.

Absolutely the best Supermarket in the Brunswick area. Besides having an outstanding variety of meat, fish, fruits and vegetables thier associates, cashiers and department managers make the shopping experience second to none...give em a try.

In Maine, the choices are Shaws and Hannaford. Hannaford is better, selection, quality,produce, deli, etc. I used to shop at Shaws in Cooks Corner, now I drive by it and go to Hannaford in Brunswick.

Very discouraging to see that Hannaford does not even try to comply with the state recommendation that customers wear masks. Until and unless that changes, I will avoid Hannaford stores and recommend that others do the same.

This store had local organic kale from Six Rivers Farm in Bowdoinham in December, which shows commitment to making local produce available to customers who make that a priority. Its encouraging to see, and the produce buyers should be proud to offer such great produce.

Good selection, clean, attentive staff. Nice meat counter; Ive had some excellent steaks from them. Never an issue to get a special cut.

I enjoyed going to hannaford. the people were friendly. Some of the things I buy were less expensive then other stores. I enjoyed the layout of the place.Conclusion: I will go there because of some 9f the prices. This time I had a hard time with getting eye contact or a smile. I like going to places that know you are there and to see if they can also help you..

The staff are always polite and very helpful, their selection of food items is 2nd to none and they have very reasonable prices.Costumer restrooms, handicap accessible parking, free cookie for the kids at the bakery counter, and very helpful staff.Automatically check out with self checkout, and make the trip faster!

2 am leaf blowing at least once a month. Keeps me up for hours! Very disappointing they think that this is appropriate.

Best produce of all local supermarkets. Always fresh. Offers local Maine growers all year and highlights them. Great fish.Warm inviting store with good lighting and small mini shops like: sushi, bakery, deli, seafood, butcher, and has smaller quick pickup foods such as wings, salad bar, antipasto bar, some premade sandwiches and meals near the deli. There is a pharmacy and TD Bank inside.My go to store.

Tonight I went to shop with a mask, gloves and ready to face my fear. You see, I’m a very high risk patient and need certain foods to keep me healthy. Hannafords Brunswick were so organized, clean, stocked, and people were just super respectful of everyone’s space. I used the self check out as to limit my interactions. I did need an override for a single beer- to make bread. She smiled and said “I’m pretty sure your over 21 (56), I said I get that all the time.” We chuckled and left me to my distancing. This store is always so nice and polite. There wasn’t any problems getting any of my foods. Thank you. And thank you for being on the front line.Harpswell Lady

A very busy and popular place to get your groceries. Very well priced products, and very productive staff provide an overall pleasant grocery shopping experience.

Pricey but good selection.

Apparently under new management/ownership and shopping there is much less customer-friendly now. The automated teller section is a nightmare where a guard watches your every move and they not only watch you by closed-circuit camera, they put the monitor right in front of you to warn you. What is this? The Bronx? Did they have that much shop-lifting? I now feel mistrusted and simply do not like being stared at or rushed, which is exactly what they do. Get this: They moved the customer service desk into the middle of the store, where the employees are unprotected. Youve got to see this to believe it.Down near the Seafood counter, they removed an open-top freezer chest with various items, and put in its place a new, expensive, sliding-cover chest about 30x10 with...meatballs. You wont believe it till you see it.Oh, and check out the new images of various cuts of meat on the conveyor belts at the cashiers. That is offensive to the health-conscious, but then again, Hannafords makes a major feature of their booze, cigarettes and pharmaceuticals, so that is in line with their ethic.An over-crowded and thoughtless supermarket that I now avoid more and more.

Bought some Buffalo Trace here and while in the liquor isle a drunk man accosted my girlfriend. Definitely Brunswick. 4 stars.

The Brunswick Hannaford ranks among the best Hannaford markets in Maine. They have an amazing variety of foods from various locales throughout the world. The Deli offers the best prosciutto you can buy, and the selection of cheeses and meats is well above average.

Id give it a five star but its a very busy store. That would be my only complaint. I guess its had a lot of when you go. They should have a counter on each stores web site with Mybe how long checkout can take... But what do I know.

A really nice store with a terrific produce departments. The staff is mostly awesome, with a couple of exceptions. I do, however, resent it when businesses put in self checkout lanes, as Hannaford has, as thats meant to put humans out of work.
