I got strangely sick after buying meat from this location. I do not know if it is connected, but I would be careful here. It is really dirty and disorganized too. I had a store employee literally take several packages of ramen out of my cart and tell me it was his lunch. Hello? Who does that? So weird.

This store is fabulous for freshly baked bahn mi rolls!!! $.50 each...such an incredible deal. Plus rice, coconut water, pantry staples. Highly recommend !

Very handy that theyre open till 9pm but their fresh herbs have looked too close to the afterlife the past few times Ive visited. There are better Asian grocery stores for fresh herbs in White Center.

Great little Asian grocery store!

Manager and other staff dont wear their masks, plus they converse at close distance with each other. Meanwhile, theres a sign on the wall saying, Face mask required. $1,000 fine.

The food is cheap and more convenient than Chinatown so 2 star. but last time we were there the young female cashier didn’t want to ring up my mom. She ask my mom to go to the next open cashier even tho she wasn’t close. My mom said no because her shopping basket was full and too heavy for her to move. Then the cashier didn’t say anything to my mom, cashier took her time to ring up her purchase. She stopped several times to chat with other employees. Spent a few mins doing miscellaneous stuff all with out speaking to my mom or acknowledging her. The whole transaction took so much longer than necessary. I don’t expect much in the ways of customer service but come on my mom is an elderly person AND a paying customer. This employees petty attitude towards an older person is inexcusable. We’ve been a long time customer but after today we will not be coming back.

Havent been here for a while...they rebuilt and expanded the place. A lot more space and cleaner.

This is a hidden gem of a store. I was impressed by the wide variety of fish, produce and other products. The staff is very helpful. We will be back!

Pretty gross actually. I get that its low cost and made affordable because it doesnt have bright lights and upgraded everything but theres dirt and grime everywhere. There were 4 almost if not all 4 dead tilapia in one tank. One was swimming upside down. I came to find rice roll/cake which they do not carry.

Hung Long market is great. They have all sorts of great Asian cooking ingredients there. They also carry odd meats, frozen and fresh like goat, frog, black chicken and my favorite, oxtails. The prices are good. Keep up the good work Hung Long!

Not as good as some other Asian supermarkets in Chinatown but it beats trying to leave West Seattle with the bridge being close. Pretty good selection but some products are not fresh.

From the outside this place looks pretty new. But once inside it looks like a dollar store. The produce and vegetables looks like something rejected by big chain stores. Selection is very sparse throughout the store.

I came to buy some coconut cookies and the price on the shelf says $3.99 and they charged me $5.99 because they forgot to change the price. And they didnt honor the price advertised. Also I wouldnt buy anything from their smelly aquarium.

Seriously?! this isnt the first, second time the store owner charge me for my items but dont put them in my bags, I got home and I cant find foods. Iam beyond irritated.. best be careful when you have her ring you up.

I love shopping at Asian markets. When you look at the ingredients in imported items, you find that it has only what is necessary. None of the garbage American food has in it. I loved this market.

Cant go wrong on prices. Nice selection of Asia cut meats and fish. Vegetables, bread and snack made fresh. They cook fish also. Very friendly.

Has a lot of variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and seafood and fresh meat.in addition many can goods, seasonings and packets. The odor in the market was very strong and could be a bit cleaner, but I would still shop here.

My spot for Asian groceries when I dont want to drive to Uwajimaya. The produce can be hit and miss, and Ive never tried getting the meats and seafood. But if I ever need to restock on Vietnamese, Thai or Filipino ingredients I usually go here.Bonus points for having ripe Jackfruit when in season, and soft tofu with ginger caramel sauce! Love those!

If you know what you want, this place is great. Its not Safeway. They have a broad variety of produce and some standard pantry products, but they specialize in Asian and Latino products. That said, this is the south-ends superstore for said items.One thing i havent tried is their butcher/fish department. To that end, Im vegetarian and they do a great job across the board where I need them.

You can find almost all your asian food and spices needs. They make their own Bahn Mi (French) and baguettes breads, rolls, and garlic braids. A must visit.

Great For Canned / Bottled Ingredients; Refrigerated Section Is UnsanitaryHung Long is one of the best stores in Seattle for Asian cooking supplies. If you need Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Filipino ingredients, they seem pretty well stocked.Sadly, they lack a lot in the spice department and basically dont have any Indonesian or Malaysian ingredients.I have purchased and eaten meat from the counter without getting ill; but the frozen / refrigerated sections are abysmally filthy and gross. I would never buy anything from that section, nor would I buy the fish (the tanks are filthy).Produce is super hit or miss. Cilantro and the Asian staples are usually fresh and cheap; but some produce is rotten and moldy (bell peppers are always gross). So just go in aware of that and check everything before you buy it.The Vietnamese baked goods are amazing when freshly delivered (perfect bánh bao); otherwise, they sit out and let the flies get to it, so -- thats kinda gross.If youre looking for the cleanest Asian markets with the most diversity, youll have to go to Ranch 99. Otherwise, Seafood City is the best for meat and seafood, but focuses mostly on Filipino ingredients.Viet Wah in Little Saigon offers similar bottled and canned goods, with the benefit of having a much larger SE Asian section.Overall, Hung Long is decent; but like most Asian markets, it severely lacks in a few areas, forcing you to visit other stores for all of your shopping.
