I worked directly with the site manager and she was very professional. I stored 2 cars within their covered parking spots. If the need arises again, I will not hesitate to use the facility in Burlingame again.

Jenica was extremely helpful in resolving an issue I had during storage.A few months ago, I got a call from someone else working there saying that my car cover had been blown off by the wind. As I was traveling, I couldn’t pay a visit in person to resolve it. This week, I was in town and came by to see if I could fix the cover. To my surprise, they had disposed of the cover without informing me. The cover was not cheap and couldn’t be replaced that easily, so needless to say I was not happy.I decided to use a mattress cover that was available at the store to cover my car as certainly this was better than nothing. Jenica went above and beyond, letting me borrow some scissors and tape and helping out while I affixed a makeshift cover.Customer facing staff who actually help customers solve problems are rare these days and it was refreshing to come across someone so helpful. Keep it up Jenica!

The staff at the Burlingame extra space storage goes above and beyond any other storage facility that Ive used. They are friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to my requests for additional services. I have a busy art installation company. Having the team at extra space storage receive my art shipments and safely store them in our unit saves me hours of travel time so that I can focus on my business. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for that extra in their storage unit needs.

This is a review of the parking spot rental - it’s one of the few storage places in the Peninsula that rents out monthly parking spots in a secure garage, both outdoors and indoors. Bonus points for being close to the airport! Had a good experience with the staff here - Jorge, Vince, and Sheri were incredibly helpful and thorough.

Sheri Alipate is very helpful, friendly and professional. Getting a new unit was a breeze! All questions and concerns was perfectly answered not to mention the facility is very clean and secure.

Rented a small storage locker on line. Very smooth process. Facility very clean. Well lit. Very pleased with the unit.

Only had this unit for 3 mos with intent to rent at least for 1 yr. Combined with $11.20 rental insurance, my rate went from $147 to $227 in 4 mos! When I contacted service rep on site, she reiterated the lease terms. I’m losing my job in one month due to effects of pandemic so I’m on a tight budget. Other regional managers in the past have been empathetic and have kept me at the original rate for at least 12 months. This is not ethically right, regardless of the lease terms. Waiting for Burlingame’s regional manager to do the right thing.

Great experience moving stuff out of a storage unit! Able to pull moving truck right up to loading area, there were plenty of carts to use and the elevators made the moving out process fast! Staff member Sheri was so nice and helpful. Easiest move out yet!

I needed a unit for a move in a pinch. When I called to inquire, Sheri was knowledgable about the units andcavailability, and when I went in, she showed me a few units to help me decide on what would work best for me. The experience was pleasant and seemless. Sheri got me through the process quickly. I have rented from other self-storage companies, but Extra Space storage is the best with its professional employees and clean and tidy space.

This place has been great. They honored their online price, which other places in the area did not. They always had clean carts available and the facility was always spotless. The reps in the office were very helpful, I will seek them out the next time I need storage space.

I was lazy and really did not want to go to my storage to unload a small amount but I did- I timed it and it only took me 20 min. They have the easy gate - long hours- the carts right there when you unload and the lights that go on when you walk In the ailes. It’s clean and well lit.

It is a great location with great upper level units. Secure and safe. Customer service oriented staff if and when needed. Also offers rental of parking/storage of motor vehicles/recreational vehicles. Close proximity to SFO airport is a plus as well. This property has always had a high occupancy with reasonable rates. No longer need their services but a great spot for those who do need.

I badly needed a big storage for all the furniture of my 2 bedroom condo which was unexpectedly sold within four weeks. My requirement was a ground floor space for convenience accessibility. My plan was to dispose some furniture in a month’s time and then move to the next smaller space. All these were made possible with the nice treatment and fair deal given by the Extra Space Storage Manager and his Assistant.I am so happy and very satisfied with my experience with them. I needed a storage in the Peninsula and the attendants helped me find the the right place and the right size. They were very patient and explain everything about sizes, security and also attentive to details. One day I closed the lock wrong and they called me to fixed. I locked the lock but the doors was still open. Thanks for the help extraspace. I will definitely hired again in the future as needed.Thanks.

We moved out of our unit a few weeks ago and during our move lost the keys to our unit.We moved to a new city and I’ve been unable to get down to the facility to handle this in person. Im a flight attendant and I needed a place to storage my items because I am in and out of SFO all time. I found this place because of the great google reviews. When I went into the office I was immediately greeted with a smile and a welcome. The facility is as clean as advertised, the manger was friendly and very knowledgeable . I was in and out with 15 minutes. What a great experience. Now a days you just dont get that kind of customer services. Thank you again and I will be recommending this storage to all my coworkers.

Edit: today was move out day and, oddly enough, I was kind of sad to see myself go. They were super kind and very very amazing during move out. Made it super easy to end my auto payments. Best play to store your stuff out in the Bay area and will absolutely be using them again if I need to!I was a long time customer of Public Storage before moving out to the Bay Area. All of the Public Storage places are so unwilling to work with you out here. I was very nervous about trying a different chain but Extra Space storage is amazing. Sandra helped me pick the right storage and was very flexible with my move in date. I am so happy to have gone with them and they will be my first choice from now on!

Its a storage place. If you get a unit make sure its not on the third floor. Where its too hot and that can damage your stuff on super hot days. Making stuff musty. Melting the rubber of your shoes. They also hook you in with a reasonable price which they then hike up every couple of months. Unlike a landlord where you get a year lease guarantee price. Theres something that feels very dishonest about the frequency of the rates being jacked up. Tbh the safety is a little questionable. The unit next to yours can have a slit- enough to see into and lose an umbrella to their unit. Plus I saw what looked like a mouse trap on the 3rd floor. I imagine if someone brings in vermin with them it can go into other units.

I got a really good vibe from Mike- the guy running the place and it felt secure, clean and where I would be comfortable storing my stuff.The corridors are well-lit and bright, the units are individually armed, the halls are clean and there are plenty of trolleys to cart your stuff from car to elevator.Good value and good location too

Just got a medium sized storage unit last week. This facility is both secure and clean for a great monthly price. Not to mention a super friendly staff. Very welcoming, but more importantly, extremely flexible in terms of upgraded/downgrading storage space and working out a move out date with just a little advanced notice. For sure this is the better choice than other storage facilities!

I have been a long time customer at this facility. I will be having to move to a new apt but in the meantime I need to put all of my furniture in a bigger unit. Sandra has made May process seamless and she has been super awesome. This facility is well kept and I feel safe when coming in by myself.

I pass by this storage facility and decided to go in because I will be needing somewhere to store my car while go in study aboard for a year. I called the call center to locate a storage unit near the San Francisco airport because we will be having a fun raiser in February, We plan to have some items shipped before we arrive in late January, The call center sent a request to Sandra in Burlingame, and within minutes, I received a call back, I explained to Sandra my situation, and she said that I can go to a Extra Space Storage in LA to sign the lease, sign a form so that she can receive packages on my behave and put them in my unit. Went in today to check out the facilities before picking up my online reservation. The place was so well maintained! No dust in the unit or the hallways. There were plenty of carts so I did not have to wait for someone to finish their move. The sign up process was really easy and the place is well secured.

Rented a storage to store my car for the coming winter. Im moving to Colorado this weekend, and I wont be in town until Sunday. The office is closed on Sundays, so I was told to go to any location to rent the space. I went into Burlingame and rented the space with Sandra. She was friendly and she explained everything I needed to know. She had a very needy customer that kept asking her questions while I was renting the space, but Sandra kept her cool and had a smile the entire time. She was awesome

Needed somewhere to store my car for 2 months, and I called around and I found this place on Rollins Road, I was kinda of nervous about leaving my car in a strange place for a couple of months. I had several questions to asked, and Sandra took the time to answer every single one of them..My main concern was that safety of my car, this place is clean and secure. I dont need to store my car until the end of April, but now I feel at ease about storing my car here when the time nears.

Not only is the facility kept extremely clean, the safety and security systems and protocols are reliable, but most of all, the management is what makes this place stand apart from their competitors. The level of professionalism from Sandra and Kirk gave this place the stars it deserves (from initial inquiry to contract signing, to moving in, etc.) They are knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and understanding.
