Date: 12/23/2019 - Visited this establishment for the 2nd time because our family wanted to try it. The store itself was dirtier than it was on my first visit, unfortunately. We walked up to a girl sitting at the cash register, playing with her phone, while her boyfriend leaned over the counter from the customer side talking with her. The ice cream (thankfully!) didnt have the gross film like it did last time, however, it was seriously lacking flavor. The Taro ice cream tasted just like vanilla - we couldnt taste the taro. Another fairly disappointing visit, unfortunately.Date/Time of Visit - 07/28/2018 @ 8:30PM - I would rate my visit to Wonders Ice Cream in Burnsville 3/5 stars. Great location in the Burnsville Mall - if you enter at the Mall Entrance between Lucky 13 and Applebees, youll walk straight ahead and downstairs. From the top of the stairs, Wonders looks pristine and beautiful. As you get closer, you can see how haphazardly it was put up. Holes in the wall were not repaired, a random shower curtain is hung as a blockade to prevent customers from seeing the back of the store, and signs are laminated plastic. Further, the sales associates/cashiers must not care about the appearances of the store as the glass was smudged and smeary. There appeared to be plenty of staff working the shop, so it was questionable as to why it wasnt clean. They had the music blaring (you could hear it from Cinnabon), and many were singing along and having a grand time, however, much to the neglect of the customers. The song lyrics were also not appropriate/child-friendly. I ordered a Taro Berry and my fiance ordered a Passion Fruit Fruit. Both ice creams had excellent flavors, however, they both left a film (for lack of a better word) in the mouth. For me, I could have gone without the canned fruit on mine - my fiance doesnt care either way. Both ice creams had incredible flavors, unique, however, we couldnt get past the film that it left in our mouths. I would not recommend because the value for the price you pay is not worth it ($7.00 each); especially when you consider the music, appearance, and lack of care on behalf of the associates working the store.
AMAZING! Stopped by with my daughter, the gentlemen working was very professional! He knew exactly what he was talking about when we were asking about recommendations, and information about the products they had. He kept my daughter entertained, and he kept a great conversation going while he was working! The presentation was fantastic and you can definitely tell they put effort into making the product look eat-able! I will definitely be coming back again, and I hope the same gentlemen will be working! Nice job Wonders Ice Cream!
Waited over 20 minutes for one ice-cream cone. They clearly took our order then serviced and prepared other customer orders that came after us . I regret giving them a tip. Not a good experience waiting for others that ordered after us to get served!!!
Wonders has a nice assortment of different types of ice cream. They have over 21 flavors. They take time to prepare the ice cream well and roll it to perfection. I would strongly recommend trying Wonders. They have such quality ice cream that the price is worth it.

Was craving ice cream for soo long and decided to try out wonders ice cream in Burnsville, I left with my craving gone but me wanting more ice cream!!! I love it, it’s very satisfying watching them roll my ice cream. Come try some 10/10 very nice!

This is the WORST ice cream place of all time.... not only the ice cream.. but the service. I went there at 8:30pm when they closed at 9pm. They said they couldn’t take anymore customers.. makes no sense to me. Do not go to this place. Obviously doesn’t care about his customers.
Staff was Amazing!!! Loved the experience of seeing the ice cream rolled! It was our 1st time! Brianna, Jade and Ruby made the experience really nice for my daughters!
I would not recommend this place due to the service. We were not greeted at all. The kids working there had no smiles or costumer service skills. They were sitting on benches and laughing with each other. It was very expensive $20.00 for three small things of ice cream. It was ok taste wise...I would not rave about it in any way. I felt so uncomfortable near them with them sitting laughing and there vibe of not wanting to be there in anyway. And to top it of I truly feel sick to my stomach after hours of eating it and I do not normally ever get any kind of reaction to dairy normally. Again this place was overpriced and rude. And I never do reviews I just wish I would have been warned about the high price low service this establishment Thinks is ok.

I had the best rolled ice cream in Texas on a trip there. It was my first time having rolled ice cream so I was excited to look for it here at home and was even more excited to find one so close to home. This ice cream is no comparable to the one I had in TX. The staff weee young inexperienced teens who could care less and also couldn’t stuff or top the rolled ice cream to keep the fruits on. They don’t chop the ice cream either like it’s traditionally done. If you don’t have stuff mixed with the ice cream they literally just spread it and start rolling. The fruits are also not fresh as they say on the website. It’s your typical DQ fruits that’s in syrup and soft. In TX, I had fresh cut fruits in the entire cup. This place is great to entertain the kids but I would not go again and waste $7 on mediocre ice cream. Note: the place in TX is called Hi Sweetie Rolled Ice Cream.
Before preparing the ice cream:This place is cool, it has a lot of cool flavors, I could come back here all the time.After they tried to prepare the order:Went here ordered the number 1 Oreo Oreo and number 10 sour tang. The number one was finished but the number 10 was never finished. The first time they tried to make it they couldn’t get it to set or roll . So then they tried to make it again it was the same girl who tried the first time and it did not work either . The bad part about it is the manager was not helping his workers who were clearly in need of help. Another thing is when my order didn’t turn out the first time good they kept making other people’s order while I continued to wait. When I approached the manager I had to yell to him to get his attention. I ended up leaving without my food and getting a refund. I drove 31 minutes for this disappointment. And would not be back .However the ice cream that other people were getting did look good. Mine never turned out .

I was fairly disappointed in trying Wonders for the first time. I’ve visited a fair share of rolled ice cream parlors around the US and this was the least satisfying in terms taste and customer service. The cream base was flavorless and had sugary toppings to somewhat makeup for the lack of flavor. The kids working there lacked professional customer service. Missing the key components; smile and greet, provide service, thank customer. That all falls onto the owners and managers though. It seems as though these kids did not receive adequate training in customer service and making the rolled ice cream. 2 of the 3 kids could not get the cream to set and roll and started over a couple times! I waited 15 minutes for my order. This is embarrassing, Wonders Burnsville needs to get it right since they are one of the first to introduce this Asian dessert to the south suburbs of MN.
I was pretty disappointed. So my first time here and I ordered the #14 piña colada which consisted of coconut ice cream rolls topped with pineapple chunks and shaved coconut. Sounds good right my disappointment came when he hands me my cup and I said to him I’m missing the pineapple. “The kid without looking at me says, we are out” turned around and walked away 😡
Has great customer service and has a great community of people customers. They look like there very hardworking.
People need to not be so critical of the staff at this location. Obviously some of them are young but it doesnt mean that they are completely stupid and irresponsible. As someone who works in the food business, on a line, behind a glass barrier, I know how hard it can be to hear and focus on customers and their making orders at the same time. I believe it when people say that the employees may be unprofessional or disorganized, but have some respect for people trying to make a living. Plus, the employees there are still new and learning. If anything should change, it is the strictness of the managers with how well the employees customer service skills are. If they were more experienced and professionally taught, they would do their job better. Overall, the employees there have been improving and trying their very best.
They waste a lot of ice cream. Workers are unprofessional. After finishing a persons ice cream one worker tried a piece of the left overs they were going to throw away and spit it out right in front of everybody. I personally didn’t like mine (coconut ice cream with chocolate and pineapple). My husband liked his berry blend ice cream.
Kids loved it. Great flavors. Limited and dirty seating at the mall. I blame rude people and not the establishment however.

If I could give them a 0 I would. Such an unsanitary place!!! Flies everywhere floor was dirty. Teenagers running the store with no training and customer service. The kid making our ice cream was sweeping with a broom and dust pan WITH his gloves on. He tries to make our ice cream with the same gloves!!! Yuck! Asked him to change his gloves but he totally ignored us!!! Asked for a refund was met with a snobby attitude from the female employee. Never ever going to waste my time at this place again!!

Not a really good place to get quality rolled ice cream. The staff (teens) were pretty annoying and loud from talking. They have to redo the ice cream twice for me cause they can get it to set. Looked like they didn’t know what they were doing. My perspective when I was ordering was slouching and not smiling. I don’t think you would want to spend $7 for rolled Ice cream here. I would recommend sota hot and cold.

Team workers were great, the girls making the ice cream. I’m not sure if the grittle wasnt turned up enough or what but mine tasted good and looked good. But my boyfriend and the next 2-3 people who got ice cream they were a mess. They were runny, they were falling apart, not enough of the liquid. The girls were asking who seemed to be the manager for help, but he just went in the back and disappeared. It irritated me that 2 more customers were served before my boyfriend ( who ordered with me) asked for a refund. The girls were trying hard, but i think they need WAY MORE TRAINING! Coming from someone who works in the restaurant industry. The manager from what I could tell, sucked. Get those girls a better manager.
