Ive been here many times off and on over the years and recently I got two tacos, got sick. 3 months ago I got some in-house red and green salsa containers, they also gave me food poisoning. I used it for 3 days and I was sick all 3 days, when I stopped using the salsa I was fine. It cost me a trip to urgent care and a $240 lab bill. That salsa was the only different thing I ate during that time. Also, a month ago they sold me two cans diet cokes that were expired by 11 months. Not going back.

Staff is great they are helpful. Has everything you need and prices aren’t bad. Best store in calumet city. Everything is fresh and tamales are they best ! The owner don Humberto is one of the most humble persons I know and is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet. Whatever you need that is not at the store what you are looking for he will be able to get for you!

I get carnitas and tamales here they are both very tasty. I feel the store is a little pricey though. They have a nice selection of Mexican items.
