They do not greet you when you enter. Noone bothered to try to help. Although I seen other guests walk in to be greeted and helped. I had to find someone to help me and even then it was lack luster. Probably one of the worst experiences Ive encountered at a sephora. I will NOT be back to this location.

I was in the market for a new foundation since I started acne medication and had a gift card, so I decided to stop by and ask for help. I ran into an amazing associate named Vanessa, who was so kind and showed me different options and suggested products according to my skin needs. We had a great conversation and I ended up walking out with exactly what I was looking for, along with 10% my purchase with their current sale. Would definitely recommend again!

Worst customer service. We were told to wait in line when the capacity for the building was 25 including staff - hmm ok, but there were less than 10 to include “the staff.” We eventually ended up having my two minor siblings wait outside because they didn’t feel like having more than 15 people in. We walk in and I proceed to look for my tart foundation but Before I can compare foundation hues, a male associate with a thick accent comes and tells me “SORRY! BUT U CAN’T TOUCH THAT!.” I was shocked how rude the entire process was from start to finish. Entire team needs to be reintegrated to society since they can’t seem to be even nice to customers when that’s literally what they are being paid to do.

Same consistent Sephora. Lots of products to overwhelm and play with, lots of loud music, and lots of people to maneuver around. Nothing special - nothing awful.

Very helpful staff

Not the first time I have a bad experience here. Seriously terrible customer service . I have worked in customer service before so I am not one to complain for stupid things but I will be shopping online from now on. There were about 6 employees and two other customers. I aproached an employee asking for a mascara I saw online and she asked someone else (best part of my experience) the other lady who was not busy at all just standing around looked at the product on my phone and said “no we don’t” and literally walked away . No eye contact or anything . I desperately needed a mascara and eyeliner and if anyone had suggested ANY I would’ve bought them. I walked around her again to see if maybe she’d offer help but nope. Waste of time .

Today my friend and I had the opportunity to meet with Jerrylin. She amazingly assisted us with mini makeovers. She was extremely nice and professional, competent and available to answers all our questions. Thank you so much!

I am very loyal customer to Sephora. I went there today and asked for some samples because I want to try out the product and buy what is best for me. I understand the policy three samples per person, so I asked my friend to get me three samples as well. Carla with a bad attitude didn’t give me anything, it looks like she wiped her finger and that was it. As you can see in the picture there is nothing there for me to try out. It’s a sample cup, for foundation it should be filled little bit more to cover my entire face not just one cheek. I am very upset, because I do spend a lot of money there (my status is Rouge). The last straw was when Carla stood out her hand as she was going to give me the samples and just right away she gave them to my friend knowing they are for me. She is very unprofessional person, you don’t do that to customers. She didn’t make me feel welcome in the store, I never going to shop there again, better take my business somewhere else.

The quality is awesome! the products shown are versatile and offer a large range of prices. THe service is good, but being a younger person I often find that I am looked down upon and seen as unqualified for shopping there based on the attitude presented. But over all the people are polite and the appeal and the quality is very good!

They treat always like you want to steal something i went there to buy some brushes i bought but i never go back again to this location

Totally agreed, HORRIBLE customer SERVICE!!! I opened a blush box to CHECK if it has a brush in there bc I didnt want to spend extra money on a brush if it was not necessary... Then a girl snapped at me saying that I cant open it bc there are tester then she walked away rudely. First of all lady so sorry for you if your mom didnt teach you to say PLEASE, second it wasnt my intention to test it as you thought, Its more than OBVIOUS that there are testers everywhere as you said and third I wanted to check if I was able to open it easily with my broken fingers.

Instead of going to the Prudential Mall Sephora, I decided to visit the Galleria mall in search of the Fenti foundation. Although I was greeted at the entrance, no one proceeded to ask me if I need any assistance. However, two employees stood 3 ft away from me and stared at my struggle to watch me color match myself for a couple of minutes. Out of frustration, I ask if someone can assist me in color matching me.The same girl that greeted me at the entrance was pulled aside to help me. She quickly colors matched and told me what color foundation I was and quickly left. I searched for the foundation and noticed that my color was sold out. I located her and notified her that my color was out of stock. She told me that I could order it, instead of sticking around and suggesting other brands that may work for me. Overall, I will not return to this Sephora. The Prudential Mall employees are much helpful and friendlier.

I go into this Cambridge location today, where I previously had a great experience at. I quickly find out that theyre out of my product and an associate suggests that I go to the counter to see if its available at another location. I walk up to an associate standing by the register tell my story and she offers to look for it. I advise that its not on the floor another associate just looked. She proceeds to hand me back the display and tell me to get in line so that the cashier can help me......ok...... So I as myself, your clearly arent doing anything and so arent the other 8 ppl standing around you so why do I have to wait in a 4 person line???? Needless to say I quickly put the display back and walked out! Really Sephora?!?!? Perfectly made up faces in the store for what?! I seriously hope you get some much needed customer service training!

I would not recommend this location to anyone!! They have horrible customer service they pretty much pick and choose who they want to be nice to. I came in to purchase products for my skin and the employee was not interested in helping me. I asked if she might have suggestions she simply started walking away so I thanked her and walked away because she clearly didnt have time to help me ( Store was empty) so much for customer service.

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. Today my cousin & I went in to purchase a Fenty beauty foundation for her & from the moment we stepped in to the store, we were being followed. It is extremely uncomfortable to shop while you are being stared at by multiple employees & even hearing one of the employees say on her head piece to CHECK THE CAMERAS ON FENTY. We both felt harassed by the employees because they would come up to us every 5 minutes to ask us if we needed help. We knew exactly what we were going in for (we even knew her shade #), we don’t need your help especially if we declined the first time. One of the employees (which seemed to be a manager) was hawking us, watching every move we were making as if we were going to steal. When we later when to the Laura Mercier station (which is close to the exit) a security guard was posted right behind us. My cousin did a swatch on one of the Fenty glosses & when we were paying at the register the same manager came up to us & asked us why we didn’t take the gloss & where we had put it back? Seriously? It’s where we found it, lady. I was highly disappointed tonight because I understand it is 2 days away from Christmas & it’s total chaos at any store but there is absolutely no reason to be blatantly humiliated. I have never had a problem previous times I have visited this location & have indeed spent hundreds of dollars at the location too. I was even more disappointed after reading other visitors reviews who experienced very similar behavior from employees. Terrible.

I am shocked to read any negative reviews for the Cambridgeside Sephora. I have had my makeup done many times for special events by Arturo and Mallory and I couldnt be more pleased. The regular staff have been very helpful too. They know the product lines inside out! I have recommended this particular shop to friends more than other Sephoras. I have probably purchased something from each area at least twice and some departments many, many more times. I cant imagine what happened to shoppers not getting that special Sephora treatment that keeps me returning and recommending.Maybe a second visit would be better??
