Really nice store with lots of supplies. Staff gave me wrong info on the phone so there was not the right size when I showed up. However, he was really nice about it and in the end, I did buy the wrong size and it worked out just as well.Plenty of parking, helpful staff, well laid out, good selection of products, clean layout and so on. This is a really nice store which I will visit again as its in town.This is also conveniently located next to Peavy Mart and they kind of complement each other. This store has feeds for chicken, rodents, dogs, cats and all the right stuff. It was interesting even to just browse. Just a very well laid out and stocked store.

Great store! The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. I got a bird feeder and bird seed from there for my first feeder and I am in love! I get all kinds of birds (cardinals, gold finches, red polls just to name a few) it’s a fun thing to do specially during the lockdown! They also carry Nova Scotia’s Fisherman products and a great variety of wood wick candles.

This was our first time in the store . Went in to get a salt lick for the deer in our woods. There are lots of interesting products there. They have a ton of bird feeders and food .

Exceptional service. Very helpful advice for small Hobby farms needing support with animals and land. Love that its a piece of farm in the city.

It’s 6:25pm and there are live animals in a small area of a Christmas manger, and only 1 tiny area for them to go in(which they all don’t fit in) There are like 5-6 sheep, 5 chickens, and a donkey. It’s currently raining and feels like 1 degrees. How do you just leave the animals there ?

If you are a local you are welcome in this place if you look different no one acknowledge s you they ll talk to and greet the people around you in your face but not you coincidence? No certainly not just go there occasionally to get millet and safflower seeds when the squirrel s overrun the feeders as they dont like these seeds unfortunately the people there dont really care for someone of ethnic origin have only been greeted by a young lady who works there when shes on duty otherwise no hello no thank you at the check out but the people before and after do get acknowledged again is this coincidental? Its another way of saying you are not welcome here I stop only because I have to for these two types of seeds otherwise Ive no need to enter when theres TSC right next door whose staff is always friendly and welcoming regardless of your appearance you might as well put up a sign if you look different dont bother buying from us and yes its happened every single time except for when the young lady s working

Fabulous place! Staff is incredible and knowledgeable, I go here for my dog and bird feed supplies as well as pet gifts. Went to get one bird feeder and the one man is so passionate about his birds and helpful so now I am hooked and love seeing the Orioles, Finches and Cardinals in my backyard.

Ive been going to Valley Feeds to buy equine feed and supplies for at least 6 years. Ive been happy with the selection and service (they load the feed into my vehicle and offer sound advice when asked). Today, however, something happened that really turned me off. I received a phone call about a purchase I made over three weeks ago. Valley Feeds informed me that I was undercharged at my last visit (completely their mistake), but asked if I would please come in and pay the difference. And for what amount, you might ask? This was requested for $17. Seventeen. Ten plus seven. It seemed petty, not to mention that it was one of the most awkward phone calls Ive ever had. I told the employee that I would pay the amount the next time I come in. In the meantime, Im telling everyone I know about how a store where I have spent hundreds of dollars (and would likely spend thousands more) called me and made us both feel really uncomfortable. Over $17. The bottom line must be razor thin!UPDATE: The manager called me personally and apologized sincerely for the interaction. He thanked me for bringing this situation to their attention and that they are revising their policy about time limits and dollar amounts. I appreciated him taking the time to contact me personally to apologize for the way that this was handled. Kudos to Bill Brunsveld. Thank you.

I should have snapped a photo to share here, but I was too much in the moment. Amazing live nativity experience with sheep, goats, chickens AND a live camel greeted my husband and I when we stopped in exhausted for some urea to help keep down the ice build up at my 91 year old Dads home. I was a really relaxing happy serendipity moment for us in a very frenetic last-minute-shopping-must-so trip. But that wasnt the end of it -- inside staff had hot apple cider to help customers relax and recharge. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff not only helped us find what we needed but helped us carry our purchases to the car. My only regret is we didnt have the grandkids with us. Ive always love the store that really has hard to find items for pets, gardens etc -- but their Christmas Spirit guarantees Ill be going out of my way to shop there in 2017! Thanks for the warm fuzzies Grand Valley!
