Purchased all my Christmas Eve fish @ Giant Eagle. Squid & Smelts were really clean ! Also Smelts were nice size. Baccala (salted cod ) also nice. I did shop 3 G.E. to get everything because of delivery issues. The only thing I didnt like were Pepsi prices but thats on the Pepsi Co.

Have to be careful buying the fruits and vegetables. Bought fresh fruit and it spoiled in two days. The brand name bread was dry and tasteless. It seems their baked goods are more expensive and doesnt to appear to be of their usually high standards. The store is clean and they have some pretty good deals, if you look. They also offer a wide selection of drinks, coffee and condiments. The cheese section also offer a wide variety. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I went for a few things. The cashiers all had masks on but there was only 2 other shoppers besides myself that had masks on. People were social distancing. My cashier was very pleasant to talk too.

Its a goto for higher quality meats(filet mignon, etc) and fish(wild fish, wild salmon) opposed to a place like Walmart, etc. They are slightly more expensive overall. But worth the extra money.

Came in for pharmacy and to pick up a few things. The shelves were very well stocked, the selection of items was quite large and the employees I encountered were very kind. They lost a star because at the time I went there were only 2 check-outs open and I waited longer than I expected.

Easy in, quick out. No big lines and they do accept cash if you dont have a card.

I love giant eagle its a good place to shop and you and you get discounts and fuel percks

Giant eagle is a nice place to visit to get quality food items, prefer giant eagle over some other grocery stores like Walmart or marcs because it seems like the quality of the items are better and the store is always clean, may be just a touch more on the dollar but it shows in the quality, so worth it to me!

Really like the Raff Rd Giant Eagle. Shelves were well stocked. If I had any questions, the Staff was really helpful.Highly recommend this Giant Eagle

Store layout is a little confusing and sometimes not enough cash registers open but they do have some good deals and convenient location. They offer alot of options

Staff are always extremely nice and I find their prices to be very reasonable. I will 90% of the time go here instead of Wal-Mart!!

The store looks nice but the prices have gone way up. Some of the people are grey but some serious bad eggs in there and in management positions. Called corporate on them a couple months ago. The management is very ignorant some of them. Would not give me my buy three get two free deal for the 6-pack Pepsi’s and we’re wasting so much time arguing. And this was Saturday meaning people we’re getting screwed for sometime then.

You get what you pay for, yes you might pay a little more. But you’re also getting better quality, better ingredients. This store is always well stocked, clean and the staff is super friendly very accommodating. I absolutely love getting my cakes from Giant Eagle they’re the best in town!

All appears well. I was there to grab and go so, the store appeared clean without food shortages e.g. Hall shelves appeared full from the ones I saw. Appropriate masking appeared to be being following.

Im finding that Giant Eagles have a much broader selection of products more than Wal-Mart and I am going there more

Giant Eagle is it good grocery store with a bakery and some already cooked Foods they dont have a lot of cashiers so if they get busy youre standing in line for a few minutes they also have a liquor store inside Giant Eagle its a convenience in case you need your alcohol with food for a party youre having

My shopping experience was great! What a selection from fruits to nuts, literally. I always have chestnuts on hand for the holidays however I couldnt find any. What a surprise I had to find them at Giant Eagle.

Its a good grocery store. Prices arent too bad. They have some decent specials. Store is clean and employees are pretty nice. Also not near as crowded as Walmart.

Got to the deli at 7:46pm, the reasoning for rushing in, of 2 guys talking, one says that Im unable to get anything that isnt already cut... Thats appalling... Tbh, no one wants to hear that...All the half gallons of milk were literally gone. And the full gallons expired in only 3 days...3 days! No joke...Im really starting to hate this place...But its always clean and people are friendly for the most part...Which is why I keep torturing myself even going here, even tho I cant find anything anymore, and now, you have to question their service and products. Super dissapointed...

This review is strictly for the bakery. They have got my cake order wrong twice now. How hard is it to write the correct order on a piece of paper, and make sure its made correctly? I usually get 3 birthday cakes a year from here. I will never place another order here or at any giant eagle bakery.

Would have a higher rating but during this time carts are not being sanitized after each use. There are never enough registers open plus the cart from the customer in front of you is being used without being wiped down. Although the cashier was polite enough to use my cart when I asked them. Dont think Giant Eagle is doing enough, at this time to kept customers safe. Unfortunate since I was a former employee of this store at another location.

It was very calming and relaxing to go through the store without any people standing around talking and blocking the aisles. Wasnt crowded and actually didnt have to wait long at all in the checkout line with an actual cashier to ring up my items. Way better than going to Wal-Mart !!!

10 register and only three check out clerks 30 people waiting in lines on Thanksgiving morning. Im handicap and stood in line for 20 minutes just saying these places make so much money they can atleast open a few more registers especially with this covid process going on You would think youd want to get the checkout area clear not people standing around JUST SAYING

Wi fi or my cell phone does not operate proplery.was actually at hunington bank,which is inside giant eagle trying to use hunington mobile app and was so slow.the bank personnel said it always has hard time. The person helping me under stand the app. Had to take a lot longer to show me. As also I might add that hunington bank employees are so very helpful n polite, and mind I dont have alot of money but they sure treat me like I do each time at any branch . Sorry so long but there service needs appreciated.

So-so experience. Produce was less than fresh. Nobody was working in the deli (4:30 pm). Manager on duty, to be polite, was ignorant about every question I had for him, he was also dressed like a bum. You have a 50/50 chance of getting a polite checker.

Ive been going to the Raff Road store for years. The deli, bakery and meat departments are great. Employees are nice and helpful. My choice over Wal-Mart any day.The only thing I dont understand is why they removed the cart corral in the last row by 7th St. Most times you cant get between parked cars to put the cart in the nearest corral

Was horrified when I was told by an employee that there were other employees there that tested positive for Covid-19 and that theyre still working their shifts. Will not be shopping at Giant Eagle in the future. If you dont care about the health of your employees, then you dont care about your customers. Shame on you.

This supermarket is always clean, well lit and well organized. I am disabled an there is always adequate motorized buggies available for use. The staff is also usually helpful. There is a wide variety of food products to meet many specialties such as Italian, Mexican, oriental, low sugar/no sugar, gluten-free, organic. A very large assortment of product choices in each area. There is an in store bakery, deli, hot foods area, salad bar, wine dept., produce dept/organic produce, huge assortment of cheeses sliced to order and in wheels, meat and seafood department and an in store pharmacy. There is also a dry cleaner and a Huntington Bank branch.

Not only did I have to wait 40 minutes until someone from the bakery helped me. They didn’t complete the cake I ordered and paid for. Total let down.

Can only go in 1 door shelves empty and your check out is a joke

Im not going to a google map to find Raff Road because its not thereAlso when I click on weekly ad I get a sort screen. Shelves were fully stocked, although Im still in sticker shock from their prices. I was able to find everything on my list, it seemed like a scavenger hunt at times to find what I was looking for.Little to no staff on the floor as it was close to closing time & everyone was up front.Checkout was delightful with her asking if I found everything OK, she was cheerful & efficient.

Wide selection of products, better than other stores in the area. Always bright and clean. Never has one or two cashiers with everyone expected to use the self-serve aisles. Prices are average. They have a huge produce department with fresh fruits and vegetables. There are many varieties of fresh-baked bread. I have been a Giant Eagle fan since living in Pittsburgh.
