The ratings given were based solely on the service received from the service department manager. He made a mistake, which resulted in us driving 50+ miles (one way) to get our car serviced on a day they werent open. I understand that mix-ups occur, however, he was rude when he called me back the following Monday. I believe that I would not have been compensated, (which I am still trying to figure out if I truly was) had it not been for my husband intervening.

Zach was extremely pleasant and professional ... he made sure I knew what was being done to my car and why ... he arranged a loaner car for my use.Terri answers the phone and takes your payments ...she is always smiling and pleasant. We had a pleasant experience with Auffenberg Hyundai of Cape Girardeau. We were looking for a 2021 Hyundai Tucson SE AWD in the Aqua Blue color. We test drove a different color of the same model. We told them what we were looking for & in a week they had the exact color/model we wanted. They were not high pressure as far as the actual sale. In fact our Sales Consultant, Greg Ballard, was very helpful & friendly - he would answer our calls / texts very quickly. The finance team was very pleasant to deal with. We got a fair deal and there were no hidden fees.

My husband and I went in looking to trade for a new Kona. Sales rep, Keith, was friendly and transparent. Bobby helped the financial aspect go smoothly. We were nervous about using a new Hyundai dealer since moving to southeast Missouri, but Auffenberg didnt disappoint. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

I had the best experience in purchasing a new car! The salesman Earl Phillips was easy going, not pushy, very accommodating and honest. I was only there for 3 hours and was driving away in my new Tucson! The sales manager, Jim Tatum, took care of the finance and did a great job working with me on running different scenarios to get the best payment plan for me! I would suggest anyone looking for a new car to check out Auffenberg Hyundai in Cape Girardeau Missouri for a great deal and a great car purchasing experience!!!

Called 3 times to set up appointment for a recall, left message with service department, #2 left message with receptionist to give to service department, and #3 left message for service department. Going to different Hyundai dealer where I have been treated very well, I will be in the market for a new car and WILL NOT BE GOING TO AUFFENBERG FOR SURE!!!!!I HAVE OWNED 7 HYUNDAIS AND THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT TRULY SUCKS!!!!!!!

Was in and out very quickly.Wish they would do a quick wash or wipe the inside windows for you when you come in for service. I miss those perks that other dealers give.Auffenberg IS very courteous and efficient and I do greatly appreciate that!

Ive had nothing but positive interactions with the team at Auffenberg Hyundai. Ive had the bad luck of a few warranty issues with my car, but these guys are always professional and polite when dealing with them. Zac in the service department is very helpful. The service department as a whole is great.

Its been almost one month (15. AUGUST) since my car is here for engine replacement. They didnt provide me replacement cat until mine is fixed, and they still didnt fix it. I was trying couple of time to speak to solve the problem but no one helped me. My car is still there, and they sad they changed engine but car is still not working.P.s. car has insurance, and I am paying rental by myself and monthly lease for car that I dont have.

They were very cooperative in helping me fix my car. They went out of their way to assist with things that normally wouldnt be expected of them to do. The only reason I dont give 5 stars is they charged just to have the car first looked at before fixing anything. The same thing AutoZone does for free with running a diagnostics this place charged $95. Customer service was top notch but charging so much for something that is normally free was a let down.

Visited for a warranty repair for my car and an oil change. They tried to also sell me all kinds of parts that are questionable at best. I had a repair for the left front wheel since they recommended, but when the bill came they tried to charge me for the left AND the right tire. I am lucky I caught it. I asked about it and they had to go back and take that off my bill. I would not trust this place with a repair again. If you visit, double and triple check your bill and ask about any unknown charges.

Today at about 12:15pm, I took my 2011 VeraCruz to Hyundai for the second time due to a dead battery. Actually my battery is very corroded, again! I went back after poor service the first time, because apparently the dealership is under new management; however, I would say their service in the Service Department has not improved!The gentleman sitting behind the counter was talking to a mechanic while the other service person was helping a couple with their car. When I explained the situation, the gentleman said no mechanics were available because it was the lunch hour. I would have to come back for someone to look at my battery. I asked how I was going to do that when I couldnt shut off my car for fear that it would not restart. His response was that I could wait there instead if I wanted to. When I explained that I just needed it cleaned, he didnt respond nor did the mechanic standing next to him. I am sure both of them know how and could have checked the battery and cleaned the terminals and cables in less than ten minutes.I asked if when they changed the oil and did their checkup of a vehicle if they also checked the battery. The gentleman said yes. When I told him that I had just taken my vehicle THERE for service, he asked if I had gotten it serviced there. Yes, I did. He didnt say anything - not even I am sorry for the oversight by my mechanic!!Needless to say, I got back in my still running vehicle and drove to another store in town where they simply checked my battery, said it just needed to be charged, and gave me some stuff to help with the corrosion FOR FREE!!!I am very disappointed in the lack of service, actually no service, I just received from Hyundai of Cape!!!!!

Purchased a car here years ago and have had somewhat negative experiences with the mechanic. Charged me $50 for basically confirming what I already knew about my multiswitch being bad, and thats with my discount for buying from them. Replacing it would have been over $200, which was just $150 in labor alone. I looked up a tutorial on YouTube and had it replaced in 30 minutes. Not likely to return for most repairs.

Never go there. Hyundai are not good cars. The paint comes off the vehicle in a few years you have it. They dont stand behind there vehicles. I regret ever stepping foot in that building and buying a vehicle.
