A loved one passed away and I needed some money till I got paid. Told me the value of my comics was next to nothing and gave me $300. Turns out just One comic of the Boxful of comics he took was worth $7,500. He basically stole money from my family. He should have given at least half of the fair market value for a resale situation. Totally not fair business practices. Watch out for this scammer. I hope hes happy that I just paid his bills for the next several month at the cost of my grief.

I love how special this place is. The owner is beyond friendly and makes me smile and feel welcomed every time I come in. If you show an interest in any hero or series, hes very willing to assist and adore the comics with you, showing great enthusiasm and skill in his trade. The selection is wide and thick ranging from old school comics to new releases weekly in all of your favorite heroes and more, but it can be hard to contain yourself from buying more comics than planned. If I can, I try to come in at least once a week and escape reality to this little shop of superheroes and the worlds they protect. The owner is willing to work with you and order things youd like if he doesnt have them on hand and even reccomends things for regular customers, which to me shows attentiveness to customer satisfaction. The store is small and friendly which totally beats buying from an overwhelming super conglomerate, and I hope people recognize this friendly corner of the world the same as I have.

No prices on any of the comics and the first 2 I chose were mysteriously already sold on e-bay told me all I needed to know up front. I was prepared to spend a lot more money the day of my visit based on other ratings I had read, but when everything was graded VF and VF+ and priced out of a book when I got to the checkout I cut my losses and spent a minimal amount and left. There were some comics I would have liked to have but I will not be back.

The owner is awesome and he knows his stuff my son and I are regulars there. I usually take him up there often to pick out a couple of comics.

There are many different comic book shops around the world, but if youre in Cape Girardeau MO, I would highly recommend checking this one out. The Comix Strip has a great variety of comics to choose from as well as statues, books, and more! The service is unbeatable. As an overall comic book fan, I enjoy this shop.

I love this place and the owner if I come in Im always asked if Im looking for something particular and when I do and its out of stock the owner is like I got you come back in like a week Ill have it and put it aside for you only thing is if you have a decently long list of 2+ year old comics it would be harder for him to order for you/ remember what you wanted
