I called the local office on S Kingshighway and was on hold for more than 11 minutes, which wasn’t a problem at all because I did not mind waiting but all of a sudden my phone call got transferred I’m assuming to an on-call service because they were so busy. I booked my reservation got my reservation confirmation number and I had my husband to go up and check on the reservation so I can get a better clear understanding on how to rent a new box. The gentleman that was behind the counter was so very rude he did not want to listen to what the lady on the phone explain to me how everything was when he would much rather talk over me and told me that he was going on vacation starting tomorrow and that he would not be there and that I would have to call back tomorrow and talk to his wife who was the general manager. He was still very rude to us I told my husband to go ahead and just cancel my reservation I can just find business somewhere else and of course I was on speakerphone so he heard that he’s blatantly said in a very rude manner your reservation is canceled I did not need your business anyway. What a way to run a business

I can understand if they dont have a truck to rent no problem, but there is no need to be rude and unprofessional when all I had was a question about renting one of the trucks. I have never rented one and was trying to see what I would have to do to in order to rent it. The woman on the phone asked me how long would I need it I told her 3 day just Friday Saturday and Sunday. She tells me that I could only rent one for 24 hours. Ok I told her and said so basically all I would have to do is come in each day and re rent it out for another 24 hours. To which she responds yes if I even had a truck to rent to you. It was rude and un called for I will never use this company for anything.
I bought 2 delinquent units and went to pick them up had to wait for the manager to get there to open them. Then they were closing and the manager said she would mail me my deposit. Well it is almost 3 months and i still havent got my deposit back. Im only leaving one star cuz its the only way I can post.
I always have a great time here and they get me in and out asap. The guy mike is super helpful. Always a good experience.
I had the worst customer experience from Michael. He talked to me very disrespectfully. He lied to us not only about not havin a truck but about the amount needed to put on hold for a pickup truck. I had to call 1800 uhaul and reserve what I needed.
The companys website is not user friendly. It is not informative, showed images of what I was looking for when tried to open the image it kept defaulting to the previous page. Ive done business with U-haul in the past, your Website is unacceptable.

When we went to get a trailer hitch installed and rent a trailer for our move, the manager, Dominique Maxwell went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The level of customer service was outstanding. He went to extraordinary measures to help us feel safe and secure with our move. When we ran into an issue, he went out of his way to make sure it was resolved.
Over the years I have rented several trucks and trailers from them. Never had a bad experience. Last week I rented an auto transport to take a vehicle to Colorado. I told them what day I would be bringing it back and there was some confusion and they thought we would be returning in A-day earlier. When I brought it back on the morning I originally planned and we realized what had happened they didnt even charge me for an extra day, Even though I brought it back A-day later than they were expecting. Always top notch service and I will definitely rent from them again.

So I called to see if they have small trucks available and I was told yes. I was on my way but wanted to verify before I cancelled my rental truck due to me hauling a washer and dryer without help. I get there and cancelled the truck only to be told they were all gone. Mind you they have parked in lot. Ok sure whatever time is wasting so Im alrdy there I get truck.Now after i return hours later i still see those same smaller trucks all in same place as before. I think they was crazyness. Anyways so I spent way more money on gas in this huge truck that was unnecessary. Make sure you confirm that they have what u want and if not check out your other options. Do be out money unless you just got it like that and dont care to waste it.
Made an appointment for a hitch install. They called & said, We dont have the parts. Rescheduled the appointment. Drove to the appointment, and was told my appointment was later. I said Id come back. They called & said we were shipped the wrong part. We cant get you in for 3 weeks. I contacted another place who said they could do it in two days for less. Uhaul didnt want to refund my money for shipping the wrong part. Contested with the credit card company. Got the money refunded. Terrible experience.
Apparently this place is in the habit of making appointments that they cannot keep. I had a hitch installation set for 9am. I drove down from Sikeston and was promptly told they couldnt do it. Even though I had the appointment, no one there could do it that day and plus, theres a motorcycle in the way.Okay... Guess Ill drive straight back to Sikeston and trust you guys to come through next time?
I had lost a remote to a TV and called U-Haul to see if they maybe had it. I spoke with Terrance who told me that it wasnt in the lost and found but he had me leave my phone number in case it was found. About 30 minutes later Terrance called me and said that the truck I had used three days prior was still there and he went through it and found my remote. I found out I had to move out of my apartment suddenly and booked a 20 truck online 8 days before the move. There were no problems booking and I received the confirmation email saying I may have to pick up my truck up to 40 miles from my selected location. No problem, since I knew I was booking late.I received a call 4 days before my move saying they did not have a truck and couldnt find one within 40 miles. After some pushing, he agreed to try to find one in the direction my family was coming from to help me move and call back. No call all day. I called back late that night and spoke to a very rude worker who said thats what I should expect for booking so late. Why did they take the reservation if they didnt have a truck? Finally promised I would have a truck but may have to travel up to 75 miles in any direction to pick it up. I wouldnt know where the truck would be or what time I could pick it up until 6 pm the night before the move, though.I received a text with the pickup location, which was luckily only one town over, and time, which was several hours later than I had planned. Overall, I was very disappointed with the customer service and the booking system. I would not recommend using this location or U-Haul in general to anyone.
We had a young man named Dominque Maxwell who was the ONLY worker there he had a line with about 10 of us in it, He was working both computers and trying to take care of all the customers. His customer service and knowledge was so great!!! He needs a raise.... Thank you Dominique..
Worst so-called professionals Ive dealt with. I booked a trailer hitch install, had my car brought to them, handed them the keys and was told theyd call when it was done. No call so I had someone pick the car up only to have them say they didnt order the hitch at all and wouldnt have it in for a week. YOUR BUSINESS IS LOGISTICS! IT DOESNT TAKE A WEEK TO RECEIVE A TRAILER HITCH ESPECIALLY IF YOU OWN A LOGISTICS COMPANY! Immediately called for a refund. This place needs a refresher on customer service. A business is only as good as the word of its employees. If you tell someone youll call...stick too your word and maybe you wouldnt lose do much business from the looks of your reviews.
Didnt like the way I was put down by the individual I was trying to get a storage unit from.Was very sarcastic & treated me like he didnt want my service.& so I ended up not renting from this Company..*** no Apology nothing****This was back in Early april I called abt in last part of March

I had to carry my on ward robe boxes. I had to wait while on the phone. Thats ok, but to not be told Ill be with you on a moment not acceptable!! I was invisible .
Good location. Good selection of Uhauls and equipment. Staff was nice.
I used their Ubox service, and when we were unloading at our new home, I went to swap out a box and they had no one there who could do it. The representative who was there told me she didn’t know when anyone who could do it would be there. That’s not very helpful when you are paying a crew to unload and you can’t get your stuff. Ultimately I think it’s a staffing issue. When there are employees there who can do the work, it may be slow, but at least it gets done.
Worst experience. I drove it an hour and a half to get a uhaul box and trailer and Brought it an hour and a half home to realize it was locked. Called and was fowarded to corperste and found out it was locked because it has someone elses belongings in it. Stayed on the phone with uhaul corporate because you can not talk to the location directly. They did not help but only kept me on hold for most of the time I was on the phone which was upwards of 2 hours. After I lost my patience for nothing being accomplished other than being tranfered over and over again to other people who could not help I was hung up on. They wanted to give me the cell phone number of a person who works (the manager who I believe told the employee the wrong unit to give me and was not there when I picked it up) there instead of remedying The situation. This particular location is a joke with bad management, antique computers tay do not work and the cooperation I have received from uhaul corporate is less than 1 star. I wish I could give 0 stars. Only thing that was ok was the guy that was helping me names Lowell at that location. Never again Will i use this company and I would warn people to use that location if they care about their things.
The customer service is the worst ive seen. Terible sales tactics. Rude and condescending when returning a trailer and overly pushy and even resorting to distasteful techniques of lying saying you need to give me your card now we are over booked for several weeks out all over the state and we wont have anything when you call back disgusting. Though everytime I call/ go in I seem to get the same woman.
