I went here with no particular idea what I was looking for, other than a decently comfortable mattress that fit me. I certainly had no high expectations for the quality of the shopping experience. However, Jim Maleta of Mattress Firm went out of his way to assist me in finding a bed that fit my personal taste. In addition to being clearly knowledgeable about the products, for the entirety of my time in the store, he was kind and engaging. Jim made me feel like a valued customer, and I truly appreciate his help. If only for him, I highly recommend shopping at this location.

I walked in to the store to find a cheap mattress I was greeted by Ashley and she asked me question on sleep habits and what I saw looking for. We tried several different mattresses. This is our second MattressFirm mattress for ourselves, though we bought one for our younger son and our older son bought his own from them. A good sleep on a good mattress is the best, and MattressFirm had the best brands we have ever seen. Issaul, the salesguy, and district manager, clearly knows his stuff. He was very helpful and very clear about all the options and the details of the mattress construction. Mattress construction is a high tech art now. The age of a box of squeaky springs, covered ikapok, which I grew up in, are over. They have a wide range of prices and technologies. I recommended this shop highly.

On July 5 we met Kameron at the front door and he was so professional, knowledgable and kind. We followed his lead with the steps to learn about and experience the type of bed, base and pillows for our optimal sleep needs. Our experience with Kameron was fantastic. Just three days later our new bed arrived and was install with no problems!Note to corporate: Two times another sales person and their customer walked over just a few feet away while we were testing a bed. They were talking and made it difficult to focus on Kameron and our experience.While signing up for the zero interest loan, we were sat just three feet away from another couple. We were all at the same long table with no dividers or privacy. We felt very uneasy hearing their sales person ask for their personal financial information as they leaned over and tried to answer with a whisper. We were forced to do the same and felt like a number, not a valued customer.A third sales person asked to take over Kamerons terminal as soon as he was finished. He squeezed in and then proceeded to get customer information from someone standing just a few feet behind us as we struggled to hear the details of our loan, warranty, delivery and such.Mattress Firm should honor and respect peoples privacy and dignity during the loan application process. At least install four small offices cubicles and train the sales staff give each other space and privacy with their clients.

My wife and I went to the Mattress Firm in Capitola, CA. today looking for a new bed. Kathryn Harrison was our sales associate. We were greeted with a friendly attitude. After a quick Q&A we were offered a number of different beds to try. We were impressed with how clean everything looked in the store. It felt very covid safe. After finding the most comfortable bed we opted to look at the adjustable bed frames. We were on the fence at first but after trying one it was a no brainer. Kathryn was very helpful and offered us mattresses at different price points. We never felt like it was a high pressure sales situation. That said, we still ended up leaving with more than we came for but were happy with the experience and can’t wait to sleep in the new bed tomorrow. Our oldest child will be needing a bed upgrade soon. I know where we will go...

I bought from Mattress Firm Capitola about 18 years ago all of my bedroom components and back to replace a bedframe... they were so courteous and helpful and I was out of there within 10 to15 minutes although I could have stayed longer just conversation they were so nice..... this is the place to go if you need some bedding mattress and whatever!

I had the most informative and entertaining time buying a mattress at Mattress Firm on 41st Ave in Aptos! Kathryn was knowledgeable, didn’t pressure me into rushing into a purchase (which I really appreciated), and helped me think about things that I never considered when buying a mattress! She was just a delight to talk to! Also, this is the only retailer in Santa Cruz county that sells the line of Purple Mattresses! If you are a avid exerciser and weight lifter, the Purple 3 make you feel weightless and is AMAZING for side sleepers! Lastly, they have great financing options - better than competitors! What a sham, I applied for their financing which is advertised at 60mo interest free and was denied under the guise Synchrony bank could not verify my Identity, I followed the requirements to the letter and sent them all the info they asked for and my credit score is high enough to obtain credit anywhere i go on a signature. So I was perplexed to say the least and reached out to an area manager for Mattress Firm who reached out to Synchrony bank who advised her to have me reapply so they could verify my identity and maybe approve me. We did,The area manager says we have an approval through some other financial institution for a reasonable dollar amount but the interest free timeline is only 12mo following up a 35.9 % interest rate if not paid in full within the 12 months. Seriously?Eight months ago I rode away on a new motorcycle with a 4 year 0 % interest loan on a signature.Now I have 2 hard inquiries on my credit report report that will take two years to fall off and have a negative impact. And NO BED! I wouldnt buy from this place if they were the only deal in town. I feel shammed, they have acquired all my pertinent information and Im sure theyll share that with other solicitors theyve negatively affected my credit standing and bait and switched with the credit offers,, i never would have applied the second time if i had known it was not the original 60mo 0% interest loan i had originally applied for. Unbelievable!The problem wasnt as much in the not being approved because they couldnt verify my identity it was with your sales associate running my credit information with your alternative financers WITHOUT my permission. Mr Palmer I too am in retail at an Area Managers level as well, Im familiar with bait and switch tactics and if youd like to continue discussing them in a public forum Ive got no problem with that.To be clear what that looks like, you acquired my credentials under the guise I was applying for 0% financing, when that was declined under bogus reasoning you automatically used my credentials to apply somewhere else without my knowledge or permission for a loan or an organization I wanted nothing to do with. Thats in laymans terms SHADY! Legally its called something else.

I had an incredible experience with Mattress Firm Capitola! Kameron was kind, knowledgeable and very patient with my mothers’ and my constant questioning and commentary when we came in on Sunday 3/7/21 looking for a new mattress for myself. This is the first “real mattress/bed” that I have ever bought for myself and as much as I thought I knew what I was looking for, I was also really nervous to try something new. Throughout the process I felt that Kameron, my sales person, really listened to my concerns about and my physical needs when looking for and finding a mattress. I felt listened to, heard and understood during this whole process and and instead of leaving with solely the mattress that I thought I was after, I was sold on a mattress that cradles and supports me like a dream while side sleeping and an adjusting bed frame that after spending almost 30 full minutes lying on during my visit to the store, I feel confident will help to eliminate my sciatic pain. I could not have asked for a better, more positive experience purchasing my very first bed. Kameron even gave me tips and advice about how to safely package up and move my bed and bed frame when I get ready to make the big move to the east coast.

I was given options. There was no pressure to buy, simply a shared air of camaraderie that silently communicated, Describe what you need and Ill try to help you find what youre looking for. If you felt a slight tremor in space and time on March 15, that was simply the planets aligning as I lay my head down on the most. Comfortable. Mattress. Great Individual Attention by a very knowledgeable and caring manager who went out of her way to help us choose the right mattress. Didn’t pressure us to buy the most expensive one. She also ensured we had special legs that we needed. She made a special trip to our house herself to deliver shorter legs so our bed could accommodate my husband getting in and out it due to Parkinson’s and cracked ribs. When the delivery guys left and forgot to put them on, she was on the phone with her warehouse and had them turned around and back at our house in less than ten minutes. You won’t get this type of service with other places and you sure won’t get it with Costco. It’s all about service ! Kathryn Harrison is her name - remember it. She asked me some questions and immediately showed me the Purple bed. It’s technology helps prevent bedsores.Then she educated me about a proper pillow and bedding, and showed me how to use the adjustable remote and get the right height set up for a person who is 5 feet tall. They were fast, cheap and delivery in 48hrs!

Sales team was friendly, courteous and helpful. The issue I and my wife have is with the mattress. We were shopping for a new mattress because of problems she has with her back, which we explained to the staff. We decided to splurge on a luxurious and very expensive choice. The sample in the store that my wife selected after trying them all out was soft, plush and comfy.The mattress that was delivered is hard as a rock and neither of us has gotten a comfortable nights sleep on it since. When we complained, we were told it has to break in, which according to their contract requires us to wait at least a month. We were told that jumping on it could accelerate the process.This is close to failure in advertising and misrepresentation. The product we got is nowhere near the product we tried and selected in the store. If we had been told the difference would be so severe, we would have asked to see choices that dont require a break in.

Always get first call service when I go in there. I bought a mattress there three years ago, when I went in to get new sheets the sails person, Kathryn even remembered me. Was very impressed and I got what I was looking for.

Awesome experience! We got a 3800 mattress for 1400 because there was a small snag! And the free movable base is a no-brainer. Its excellent for reading or watching tv in bed! We live slightly outside the delivery area and were going to have wait longer to have our stuff delivered but the salesman made some calls and got it arranged for regular delivery so we got our stuff super quick!

I went in during the Presidents Day Sale to look around and found a number of options at great prices. Jaime, the Assistant Manager, assisted me with trying several out, and never pressured me to consider more expensive options. She was great at explaining prices and options, delivery fees, etc. I came back later that week and was assisted by Dee, the manager, who helped me order the mattress and frame I wanted, which happened to include free delivery. Both were professional, friendly, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The delivery company provided email and text updates the night before delivery with a 3-hour window, as well as when the truck was 10 minutes away. The delivery men wore booties and laid down a work mat, and were efficient and friendly as well. The Tulo Soft mattress I got was perfect, and I have been getting the best sleep ever as a result.
