While traveling I needed my prescription sun glasses repaired quickly.Jasmine Porter, Taylor Guthene, Miki Parks and Danielle Crespi were all about helping out! Although the glasses could not be repaired their level of caring and expertise was outstanding! Thanks so much!

Update! I increased the stars from 1 to 3 after talking to one of the owners and receiving my refund..... Myself and my family have gotten glasses here before and before I would have given them five stars. However, this last time has been a disaster. After my exam and paying about $900 for glasses I was told about a week or two. Into the third week I finally called and said theyd check. No phone call back. A week later I called again and was told the manager would call me the next day. No phone call back. I gave them another three days and called them. I did get a phone call back the next day with no real ETA of when the glasses would be in. Now into the sixth week and still no glasses and they are refusing to give back the money. And they will not show me the document that has my signature agreeing to not return the glasses.

I had a little problem with the receptionist she seemed as if as she said to another employee she was already ready to go home @10:00 am after I explained to her I had miss placed my wallet or it had been stolen an that I had been there before she what appeared to rolled her eyes an said well I can’t find you in our system I need your id and I explained to her I really can’t miss this appointment she went in ahead an let me been seen it was just her demeanor of how she responded I than found a photo of my id in my email I had sent to DHS an she accepted it.

I had an outstanding experience with Complete Family Eyecare in Carbondale today. Very well pleased with the hospitality and the help they offered. I was assisted by Britney and she went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed done. She was so kind and knew exactly what she was doing. The Dr was absolutely fantastic himself and very knowledgeable. He really seems like he cares for his patients and spends quality time with them. You can’t find that that at Marion Eye Center. I highly recommend going here!!

I really liked Dr Cox. He was very thorough & professional (& young!). I felt like I received a great eye exam & I was impressed by the new technology (not having to have my eyes dilated!) & his explanation of my tests results. Chelsea was also great helping me pick out glasses! She had great suggestions & really listened to my concerns. All of the staff I encountered during my visit were excellent & very friendly. Glad I made the switch!!

Brittany, Chelsea and Dr. Cox were absolutely amazing. When I had my automobile accident I called over the phone and they brought me in ASAP! I was seen and diagnosed quickly! This team was absolutely amazing and the doctor was very thorough about what was going on. I would recommend this place all day!

This is by far the most comfortable eye care in Southern Illinois. When I called about a contact lense exam, I was offered an appointment the next day. The office got me into my appointment immediately after paperwork and every single person I came in contact with was kind, educated, and welcoming. Dr. Cox was refreshingly young, as well as quick and precise to make my prescription. The entire appointment only took one hour and they were sure i left with everything my insurance would cover.

I just wanted to thank Complete Family Eyecare so much for helping the Jackson CEO program. They are an amazing community supporter and are very valuable to Carbondale.

They refuse to give out the pd. On top of that no one who answers the phone is smart enough to answer a simple question. I had to repeat myself about 10 times before I could get a real answer. I will NEVER go back here.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Dr.Cox was very professional. I had a very thorough exam. I did not feel rushed, he took his time with me and answered all my questions.

I had ordered my glasses and contacts before the covid-19 pandemic and they came in after the shelter in place order took effect and all the businesses were closed. Chelsea (from the office) went out of her way to call and tell me that my glasses and contacts were in and that unfortunately no one could come to the office however, she offered to bring them to my house and put them in the mailbox. No one has ever done this. She made this crazy pandemic just a little bit brighter. This office and staff are amazing! 🙂

I hate the the eye doctor but they really made it a pleasant experience. The staff was awesome and super helpful! Doctor Cox was really great and very informative!

Complete Family Eye Care is staffed with the best technicians and optometrists! They corrected my prescription lenses, which were still under warranty, in a friendly and timely fashion. I am totally amazed at the service I received by all of the staff members. Thank you all so much!

Fantastic experience with complete family eye care. Dr Myers worked with me to get me an eye exam quickly. She was able to answer all my questions about my contacts and was able to find a pair of glasses that worked for me, as I have been unable to find a pair that didnt give me headaches and strain to my eyes. I would recommend this practice and her especially because of her personality and professionalism.

I chose Complete Family Eyecare, in part, because they were in network with my insurance, and had late appointment times that didnt require me to miss work. I could not have been more pleased. Dr. Myers was professional, attentive, and friendly. She took care to explain everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. When it came time to choose frames, I did not feel pressured and my insurance benefits were explained well. I appreciate the care and service by Dr Myers and her staff. I would recommend Dr Myers to all my friends and family.

Everyone was very nice, and they even had a machine that could do part of the exam without dilating my eyes!

I thought I had my contact lenses stuck in the corner of my eye. I tried everything to try and fix it, but finaly gave up and called complete family eye care, where I am a patient. Brittany told me to come in as soon as I could and they would work me in. I was seen within minutes by Dr. Cox who tried to find my lense, but no luck because it wasnt in my eye!! It had already come out. He found a spare lense, put it in my eye, asked if I had any questions, assured me that this type of thing happens all the time and out the door I went. I stopped at the desk to see how much I owed and was told ifI had a co- pay the insurance company would send a bill. Very happy with my visit

I loved the doctor and the practice that sold to Dr. Myers. I was thrilled that much of the previous Doctors staff remained after the practice sold. My experience with Dr. Myers and Complete Family Eye Care has been marked by poor communication with the Doctor and her staff. I was willing to work through the first experience. Now, after a second difficult communicative experience, Im unwilling to try again. I was willing to pay out of pocket for an eye exam to figure out what has been wrong with my prescription for the last six months but after TRYING to make an appointment to do so, Ill find another practice who will LISTEN to what I am saying instead of making assumptions about what I want or what Im willing to do.

I went in for my eye exam and had only a small wait to be seen. Dr.Meyers was great about communicating effectively everything that was going on with me and the exam as well. I was given trial contacts & few days later after trying them out I made my order which was promptly placed. I reieved my order for contacts a little over a week later.

Thank you Dr. Myers for providing such a thorough exam. I really appreciated the time you took to explain the advantages of the new technology. The exam was completely non evasive...loved not having the air blown in my eyes and really glad I didnt have to have my eyes dialated! Thank you for taking care of my eye health!

Wow. I went from practically blind to seeing amazing!! Dr Cox is super young and super trained on all those new instruments they use to get the best vision I’ve ever had. !!!and he makes u feel like a person, not an object. I saw him helping a child too and that kiddo was just talking away to the dr. They say kids can tell. Oh, and Chelsea !!!! She is the bomb diggity fitter of all time. Knew just what I needed to frame my face correctly. Ty, ty, ty Dr cox and Chelsea. U guys r rock stars. :).

Great company and wonderful people. Ive known Dr. Rudolph since he first opened his location in Herrin and he is a terrific doctor who really cares. I cannot reccomend him and his staff highly enough.

Heres the lesson I learned about places like this. These are not clinics they are value added retailers meaning their primary goal is to sell glasses and as a side service you can also get your eyes checked. Yes, its convenient. Yes, its easier that trying to schedule with a real Dr. Office BUT there is a big catch to that convenience. And you could end up out of pocket (no refunds, no exceptions with these guys) for a costly set of glasses you may or may not be able to use or even need!If you want a nice designer set of frames for your sunglasses, this is the place for you. If you have genuine concerns about your eye health - go see a REAL Doctor not an eyeglasses retailer.Dont make the mistake I did for the sake of convenience. It ended up costing WAY more than it was worth.

A BIG SHOUT OUT to DR. MYERS!!!! Could not ask for a more professional and caring person to take care of my eye needs. She is the only Doctor that was able to find the problem with my dry eyes. I had the symptoms and my regular eye doctor was not able to find the problem, so I decided to try Dr. Myers and she has exceeded my expectations. I followed her from Mt. Vernon to the Carbondale office because of her ability to help me. I thought I was going blind but no just dry eyes. Thanks Dr. Myers!!!!

I got an eye exam from Dr.Myers for a new pair of glasses. Originally, I was wanting to get a pair of new glasses from this place, but I was told it will cost me about 500 dollars after my insurance. As a student, I could not afford it. I went to walmart got a new pair of glasses with Dr. Myers prescription, but I could not see clearly with the new glasses. Trying to figure out why I couldnt see clearly, I went to Dr.Myer, and she was super confident the reason why I can not see with my new glasses is because Walmarts glasses are made cheap(I paid 238 dollars for this glasses in walmart and got best features including anti-glare feature and other features, its Nikon brand). She suggested me to got a pair of glasses from her instead, and in order to see clearly, I did listen to her and got an pair of glasses from her place. Two weeks later, with a new pair of glasses from Dr. Myers, I still CAN NOT SEE! And every time when I put my new glasses on, my eyes tear and I begin to have headache.It tooks me one month, but I just can not get a pair of glasses I can see clearly without tearing and headache. It is getting super frustrating!

We were hopeful after Dr. Burress departed the practice but scheduling and promptness have dimmished significantly with the new doctors. Our sons first ever eye appointment for kindergarten became more than a two hour ordeal in which we were only finally able to see the doctor after much of that 2 hour window had already passed. The office was not inherently busy or understaffed (in fact, it appeared that three technicians were milling about), but instead simply seemed to be an issue with a single optomotrist on site who was, actually, not on site when the appointment was scheduled for. Though the staff members and technicians were all friendly and polite, I reluctantly cannot recommend this once fantastic family eyecare facility.
