One the best truck stops that I used. A plenty of spots, very clean store and facilities, clean shower, laundry and restrooms. And friendly staff!

Overall friendly service. The dog park is nice but bring your own water. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Has a few shops. See review on hair salon. Haircut not recommended here. Did not eat at restaurant but it looked nice. Overall 4 stars was given. Will give five if you get a better barber.

This place is better than any other around.Iron skillet was closed by 7:30pm.The bathrooms are decent. Need to watch a little closer and refill toilet paper.The man and woman attending to the shower area were beyond amazing and so sweet.They are the only reason we would come back to this truck stop. Thank so much for the family shower room and the extra towels. We really appreciated it.

Huge shout out to Petro for putting in an amazing Dog Park. Its located in the back of the parking lot and its extremely large. My little Abbie LOVES it! Theres so much room for dogs to actually run and play. Plus benches to sit and watch your furbaby. Added bonus is that they have a patio set up as well. The tables have umbrellas and theres several grills you can use. Nice job Petro! 👍👍

Normally I love bringing my dogs to the dog park for truckers. However today Im really disappointed, grass hasnt been mowed at all this year yet, and there is garbage strewn all over. Very disappointing.

Normally I give 5 stars to deserving locations. 1 star is for the service at this location. 2nd time now and this place is just slow super 🐌 have been here 2 times for service and will not be back unless absolutely needed. Charged for valve stems that were not replaced and a slow sloppy oil change that I felt was inconvenience to want to get and took 6 hrs to get in the shop and almost 2 hours to change and I was the only truck..sad what happened to quality in work. And make sure you look at your bill before you pay might be adding something that should not be. I speak from my experience and feel like what of course you owe this much as if they dont error. I was correct they were wrong.

This place is awesome! The BEST petro I have seen. I usually hate it when my fiancé and I park at Petros ( truckers) cause they are usually so dirty, old and unfriendly but this is the only petrol I would love coming back to! Props to the cleaning crew and managers here ! Yall are doing a wonderful job :)

Petro and TA dont care about service anymore, its all about the money. I fueled up and got dinner at the fuel island. Went out and parked and was told to leave, because was reserved parking. Im sorry but if you fuel shouldnt that be free? It used to be. I know all the people in the free parking spots didnt fuel. If I could give it minus stars I would. No more petro or TA for this company. Think about how you treat people who pay your salaries. More companies need to do this

Your standard, garden-variety Petro... Probably the best option in Carlisle, though. To correct a previous reviewers memory of how long this Petro has been around, it has only been here since the mid to late 90s (not 30+ years). The All American truckstop was a better old-school truckstop located on this parcel of land until the early 90s. Ive fond memories of sitting around the old horseshoe counter at the All American around 25 years or so ago... ;)

Always open, they have a pool table a game room and washer and dryers plus showers.

I dont really care for this entire area. Its a place to stop, get what you need and go. Its plenty of parking space. Basic standard diner, Arbys across street. Loves truck stop right next door. Cb repair shop here if you can catch them when their open. I much prefer the Petro back in VA or Tenn.

Checked in on the 27th of April at 1900 to get a tire on my trailer changed it is now the 28th of April at 0200 tire is still not changed. Just set the record for the longest tire change just finished at 0330 for a total of 8 1/2 hours to change a tire.

Decent petro, not all that different than most other ones.

Pulled in to get fuel and use the scale. Left with no fuel or weights. Sat on the scales for almost 10 minutes with no response. You dont need my $12 for weighing, you dont need my $700 for fuel either.

Used to be one of our favorite places to get pizza slices so we got them pretty frequently...but the last few times its been too hard to get anything even semi fresh looking, and the last few times the pizza has not tasted very good so will rarely come back here anymore.

Very bad attitude towards a regular customer. I reserved a parking space using the online application. Arriving at the parking lot all the places were already taken. I turned to the staff for help. As a result, they put me near the curb on the way to the scales. This is not the place where I would like to spend the night. But working time ends and you need to stop. If you believe the application, it should still be free 7 places spit mine at least. Question And why then came up with a reservation via online?

This is the only Petro in the country that does NOT show video feature movies. The TV Movie room shows only basic cable which is standard at TA stand alone not Petro . The Theater Room at Raphine, VA is the best. NB: Most if not all TV rooms are closed, because of the Health situation in the country.

Great food done the way I asked. Only 2 waitresses and they were running their butts off but were still polite and attentive. Very good food and staff.

They sell use tires 209.99$. For this kind of tires immediately out of service. But they are TA they can do whatever they want for them there is not a low. Where is now DOT of PA, why they don’t check them time to time. When I stop on the road I don’t have other choice than take this garbage.

Over the last 30 plus years this truck stop has gone down hill. Was one of the best now people just throw their trash anywhere in parking lot. Rest rooms need a good cleaning. Trash cans outside need to get empty. Was there for 34 hours and no one ever emptied them.

The only thing on the menu is a turkey Thanksgiving feast today 17.99 what a deal!. It comes with a salad you ask for bacon bits or croutons and they are not available. You can taste the turkey that was refrigerated. The stuffing you can tell is box stuffing. There are nats flying around landing on my food. Just lost my 17.99 appetite. 1 star rate just bad from service to food. 3 out of the six toilets have feces on them and 75 percent of the parking is paid parking for truckers.

This truck stop is very good overall but the elderly woman named mary who serves food in the fuel isle building needs a reality check. She treats drivers as if theyre beggars instead of paying customers. This woman acts as if someone made her work here and totally forgets that without customers you have no place of employment. This economy is crashing as we speak and soon shell wish she had someone to serve!

Fuel store has the absolutely nastiest mens restroom Ive ever been to. At noon 2 associates standing around talking. No customers at fuel desk. One of you scrub a toilet please.

The staff cleaning the showers are the best!! Always very clean and well stocked. The always say hello and goodbye to you. Last time I was there I forgot my phone in the shower and one of the employees tracked me down in the store with my phone.

Paid for parking since we knew we were arriving late, while waiting to check out a woman demanded to speak to a manager because she parked in a reserve even though there were no reserves left and demanded that they accommodate her and give her the spot. Talk about a Karen. Lmao The staff handled it as swiftly and politely as possible though.We also took a shower, and it was extremely clean! The floors seemed to be freshly mopped, and you could smell the cleaning products. The towels were even still warm from being freshly laundered.The restaurant is also open and available for seating!!!

After waiting over 6 hours to get my oil changed, and standing in the shop waiting room for 30 minutes to sign paperwork, I noticed a small mouse run across the floor. And after bringing it to the clerk’s attention they replied with “oh there’s lots of mice in here.” Seriously guys, with as much as TA/Petro charges truckers for reserve parking you’d think they have enough money to hire an exterminator. I think the last thing y’all need to worry about here is COVID. Just think about how dirty the restaurant must be. And yet they still enforce a mask mandate. Absolutely tragic.

Tonight, there was a fine young boy, very handsome must I say that was handing out free bags of cookies at the fuel desk. He didnt ask for anything, nor did he know that the picture on every bag was of Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus. Now I am just a truck driver and definitely NOT over religious, I would just like to say. Thank you! In this time of divessiveness in our country and being what I have ALWAYS observed as the ONLY time in America, Christmas, where we are actually NICE to one another, his lovely parents let him take the time to do this and his parents actually took the time to bake these wonderful treats ( because obviously they were homemade) restores my faith in what is actually great about America! This was a great experience. The employees are so friendly and helpful, had everything you could need and on top of all that it must have been the cleanest truck stop we have been to !!!!!!!

I just ate at this location and this is what my table looked like after I moved my buffet plate. Spoke to the manager and he stated he was aware of this issue. So I made him shutdown the buffet and remove the contaminated plates.

When you visit a restaurant, your preference is to be properly greeted with a good morning, good afternoon or evening, obviously depending on the time of day. As long as Kim does not attend to you, you most likely will be greeted with respect. I had the unfortunate experience of sitting in her section. After minor interaction with Kim, I promptly moved to a different section. Luckily Brooklyn was there to save the day. Thank you Brooklyn.My breakfast was prepared promptly and it was was tasty. Coffee was hot and plentiful.Would have given 5 stars, but Kim ruined it for me.

The restaurant is great, the manager is very proactive. He works the buffet waits tables and talks to customers, it is great to see a manager that cares about his job and where he works. Bathroom is clean, floors clean and shiny. It is a very busy truck stop, lots of traffic and people.

Christmas buffet at the iron skillet. First pan held horrible dried out fried chicken. It stayed full cuz nobody took any. Gravy was served after mashed potatoes,great. But then dressing and dry turkey served at end of line. Serve the gravy after that stuff. Big bowl of crusty rolls. No butter anywhere on buffet, even after i asked and received some. Waitress was sweet and awesome. Not sure the food was worth the price.

Shower was clean but hot went to just warm water about 4 min into my shower and stayed that way. Good location with lots of options as far as food and shops in the petro. Overall good place.

Restaurant was very polite and helpful and prepared food meal especially my chicken breast. Waitress very good and skilled at good service. But the shop has people that good give good service to whom they want and provoke others to say and share bad things about the service and help given. I believe the shop already know if whom I speak but they have their reasons for still keeping them on and know why that shop will soon if not already in process too be closed. Thank you

Clean! Laundry room is clean. $3 per machine to wash and dry. Dryers are 45 minutes but dont seem to dry a regular load in 45 minutes. Very good food. Pleasant staff and clean showers. A regular stop for us.

Love this truck stop. It has a huge, beautiful, fenced in dog park, which is great for those of us who have larger dogs in the truck with us. Plenty of clean showers, and the food in the restaurant is always good and fresh. This should be used as an example of what other truck stops should strive to be.

Do not take shower here..Floor drain needs draino..Still hair and toothpaste in sink..They turn the fans on to dry tge shower..Then put towels inside..Thats there cleaning standards..FILTHY DIRTY!!!

Pulled in 230pm. Lot is huge. Plenty of room to move around and park. Plenty of paid spots left. They had about 7 spots in the last couple rows left way in the back. By 330pm the free spots were full and only paid parking left. Store is open and well stocked. Fuel island is big and open for business. Bathroom and showers are open. Food is take out only. The parking lot is clean and smell free

Showers are old and could use a little updating but very spacious and clean. Staff were kind. Had a blow dryer that wasnt working and was helped to find one that was. Servers in Iron Skillet were also friendly and attentive and food was some of the best I have had at a TA/Petro. Only complaint was that I originally wanted chicken fingers but they did not carry honey mustard sauce in any form. (Dressing on salad bar nor packs for dipping). So changed my order to shrimp and was pleased. Overall was a nice experience. Parking was nearly full but would still return.

The chrome shop is the place to stop in and visit. He can order if he doesnt have it which is the big ideas unwound guess and there is alot to look at as far as smaller items with good prices. Stop in and say hi because he is a nice and knows his trucks.

Get someone in the fuel deli who can serve breakfast before lunchtime and aint rude

From the moment we walked in, ate, showered, got drinks and snacks and left, my experience was phenomenal. Our server Brandon at the Skillet was great! We wanted for nothing and had everything. The food didnt look good but the taste was shockingly pleasant. The only down side is how much of the lot is paid parking. I will definitely stop here again.

Stop here to eat at the iron skillet whenever Im in the area. The buffet is usually very good with a variety of choices whether you get the breakfast or lunch /dinner sitting. While the food was good, I was a little disappointed with the service this time. The server gave me coffee and then I couldnt find her when I was looking for the check to leave. First time thats happened at this place. Hope it was an isolated incident because servers are usually very attentive and are quick to refill your coffee as necessary.

The people in the shop are terrible. There is time and work accountability and supervision. I checked at 3 pm and they told me will call you. I went to reception the next day at 8:00 am and they told me come to door 5. At 10:00 am NOBODY attended me and my pick appointment was up at 11:00 am. I told them I will pick up and come back. I came back and they told me come to door 5 again and up to now nobody is attending. My time is running

Stopped in at the Iron Skillet for early dinner. The usual offerings were present. On a cold day offer a heavy soup, pepper pot, and a lighter one, say chicken noodle. Not beef barley and pepper pot. Get a variety please. And your cake is always dry. Cutting it and placing it out will happen always. Seems to be consistent throughout Petro. Dry cake. Not good. Truckers should not have to point this out. Management should have to eat a meal with a driver. Get feedback that way . Dont call me to talk about this review.

Great truck stop! Showers were plentiful and clean. Shower attendant was very friendly. There is a barber and game room in addition to the normal amenities. Most appreciative of the US Mail box! Lots of truck parking but it fills up quickly. Will remember this place.

I stop here regularly and enjoy my time to rest and sleep. The food is always good and the people are welcoming and friendly.

The convenience store has the typical quick stop stuff drinks chips candy bars they also have some cb radios and accessories. There is also a restaurant that offers a buffet. There are showers a laundromat restrooms game room just about anything you need for a quick stop or overnight layover

This is the only Petro that DOES NOT SHOW FEATURE MOVIES!!. Whoever the manager is who decided to show basic cable like all TA.....Someone should tell him or her that Petro shows movies not basic cable. Fellow driver please complain to get them to show movies and stop basic cable....NB: the movie room is temporarily closed due to the nationwide health crisis. This is a PETRO not A TA!!!!!

Fuel pumps our little too close to the road but otherwise a good petrol to stop by sit down and relax or for the entire night. Restroom are clean so I think the showers would be too.

The Iron Skillet food is excellent. Dont let the look fool you. The fried chicken was hot and freshly cook. We came around 7pm on 6/3/18 I dont know the cook name but I tip my hat to him for a job will done. Every time I pass this way I will definitely stop to eat. Im so full I can burst!!!!!😂😂

This is the worst Petro I have ever been in, the restrooms stink like they havent been cleaned in awhile. The iron skillet wasnt better, the waitresses were terrible. We ate dinner there got a steak burger that was supposed to be cooked well done but it was medium well at best, we let it slide it did have a good flavor. So we go in for breakfast and think how could they screw up breakfast. Well the waitress throws the menus at us as she walks by,we tell her we need 2 coffees, we finally get to order breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Simple right, wrong. We had to send it back, everything was cold, they either microwaved it or set it on the grill and sent it back to us. It was totally nasty. If Im ever back this way this is one truck I will never stop at again. I couldnt give a quarter of a star, so I gave a star.

I went in to get something to eat at the iron skillet. I was giving the soup and salad I made my salad there was no ranch dressing. That is the only dressing that I like. I sent there for 45 minutes asking several times for some ranch dressing for my salad. They did not seem to care and did not want to get me any since the salad bar did not have any. Finally after 45 minutes I got up to leave did not drink any of my t eat any of the salad and the waitress wanted to try to charge me for everything. Way I look at it in 45 minutes I could be 45 miles down the road at over $2 a mile they owe me $100.

This Iron Skillet does not have respect, appreciation, or concern for their customers. I had 3 bad experiences back to back, because of disrespect, disregard, and inattention from wait staff. I finally had enough, so I decided to bring it to managements attention. I spoke with the AGM Robin, and he immediately threw in I will pay for your meal. I told him I dont want a free anything, I just want the disrespect, disregard, and inattention to stop from the staff. He said that he was leaving at 13:00 (1 pm) so I told him that I would come see him, and I did. I sat down in a area of the restaurant called the den at roughly 12:45 pm and asked for Robin as soon as a waiter came to the table. A second waiter came to the table and was rude right away. My wife and I waited for 15-20 minutes in total, before we decided we were to hungry to wait any longer. So, we decided to walk across the street, and eat fast food. In the end of it, this Iron Skillet has lost my business at least until changes are made. Not only did my wife and I, receive disregard from the wait staff but today we received disregard from management as well.
