Went to the trouble of buying, gathering samples to send to the company as per their requirements, set up a phone meeting.... only to discover they dont have any machines to sell me. They would consider RENTING me a machine for 20K a month. Left phone call without even the hint of an apology for wasting my time. RUN, dont walk from this company. Shysters.

I called in to ask how much a machine was they have listed. After being asked why Im calling, Tammy said there was a horrible beep in my line and would call back. Before I could even answer that she hung up and nobody called back.

Rude receptionist. Wouldnt bother trying to work with them after that.

Katie and Erika were extremely rude and demeaning on the phone, I asked to speak to someone who would be more interested in helping me and was declined. Katie talked to me like she assumed I could not afford the machine I was inquiring about and sense she felt that way she had no interest in helping me . She yelled it was a $100,000 machine then asked me if I had $100,000 as if I was waisting her time .she told me “this isn’t for no hundreds of bottles a day” I’ve done my research and I know exactly what machine I need and was hoping to move forward with purchasing this machine for my warehouse . She also stated that before moving forward in talking about the machine I wanted I need to send her a sample of my products and wait on her to email me which that email never came . I’ll be looking elsewhere. Very disappointed in this experience I called back to see if I could be transferred to someone who actually wanted to help me, Erika answered and told me rudely that I could only be transferred back to rude and demeaning Katie . This company just missed out on a $100,000 sale due to horrible customer service .

1 hour 10 to get unloaded they open at 7 am and close at 3:30pm

Called their number and Erica hung up on me after asking to speak to maintenance or sales in getting service on our equipment. The person answering your phones is the face of your business and you should have people wanting to help not hang up on you less than 30 seconds into the call.

I must implore you, search for used machinery elsewhere. Frain Industries is horrible to work with and in our case, rented us 35-year old used equipment for 20% more than the cost of a brand new piece of machinery from the same manufacturer! Unfortunately, we discovered that after the fact. Regardless, we purchased the new equipment, terminated our relationship with Frain and will NEVER work with them again. I highly recommend checking with their competitors. Frain might be family run and operated, but the management is difficult at best once your contract is signed, and they do not have your best interests at heart. Be warned: these are not the partners you want in food manufacturing.

After reading some of these reviews, I felt compelled to write mine. Because some of these are really out there. First, they do ask a lot of questions. How else are they supposed to get you the right equipment. Yes you pay a premium. But when you get the equipment it is set to run your product and will run as stated.

Very rude on the phone. Actually hung up on by the rep in the middle of a call. Very surprising when I was the one who was trying to buy/rent a piece of equipment. Seemed like if it took work on his behalf, he did not want to deal with the sale. Beware.

1st come 1st serve on deliveries thats a plus but, once you get a door very slow to unload, they truly take their time. 4 hrs to get a few machines out.

Terrible service and a bunch of untrustworthy liars. I asked prices for 8 kettles online ranging from 50 gallons to 600 gallons. Called to see why I had not received a quote. Jim their head sales guy wants me to give him description and sizes of every single kettle I chose on the phone. When I ask why??? Jim says because it take long time to get the info online and we are having issues with our internet and again asks me what size kettle Im looking for. I say again 50 to 600 gallons. I try to explain to Jim that Ill wait for him to get my info online or I will fax him the sheets from the internet. He does not believe me and starts asking questions again which agitates me. When I explain to him loudly that my call is made to insure that he understands I am serious, he hangs up the phone. I call a second time and he denies that he hung up the phone and goes through the same line of questioning because he does not believe that I am serious. He again hangs up. I call a third time, and John Frain picks up admitting this time that his head of sales just hung up on me twice because they just dont give out quotes even though I just had told him I am in the market to purchase multiple kettles. If you cant trust me after multiple emails and calls then there is no reason to do business. Come back in six months and you will see that I purchased the kettles I was looking for. You just lost out on a few hundred thousand dollar deal because you did not trust me. Good Job!

Doesnt care about their customers unless they spend money.3. Are horrible at connecting back with you on timely manner.4. Fired someone for being Mexican.5. Jack prices up.... A lot.6. Doesnt give a rats ass about international clients. They think its a 20/80 theyll buy and say those people waste their time.7. Is made up of rude office people.8. Has a great engineering staff that they take for granted.9. Has an engineering staff in the office separate from their working engineers who always needs to get on the line, who talk as if youre stupid and dont know what equipment you need. They think they know everything, and once you doubt them, theyll give you the worst attitude and even hang up on you. Their engineering team arent even qualified/certified engineers. Hell get their team in back on the phone to answer questions... They may be mich nicer then these clowns.And lastly...10. Will not tell you that your calls are recorded and will call you every month if seen fit just so they can get a sale out of you. Otherwise theyll pester with calls. Even if you ask to be removed from their calling and email list.Did you know.. The account managers there are very greedy. If they dont get the price they want and you hang up the first time but call back... Theyll tell you that one has been sold and will give you one similar which either costs the same or less, jack up the price then bargain the price down to what they wanted you to pay in the first place to make it look like a sale.So waste your time if you want. But now you know what youre getting yourself into.

Horrible company, they have just lost business with a major pharmaceutical company. Had an equipment return all scheduled because the conveyor was not built as expected, the delivery was delayed and now Frain will not accept the return. Very shady salesman, who do not care about anything other than making a sale.
