Cam here at the beginning of Dec 2020 to purchase a fridge. Worked with a sales rep on-site to purchase the fridge who processed our order over the phone (later on the SAME DAY I was there in person). While I was in the store she pulled the inventory told me the fridge was available but there were not many so we felt we should move quickly because we were trying to hit a certain timeline. I called back 2 weeks later to get a status of our fridge, thinking I should be scheduling my install date soon. When I called the same sales rep seemed completely caught off guard, and almost embarrassed she “had no update for me, and needed to look in to it”. To me, and I’m 99% sure, my order was never placed. She didn’t call back the next day, and I even called her back the day after that asking for a follow-up, when again it seemed like she had done nothing. She saw she had one in inventory & tried to contact that warehouse only to find it was unavailable. Overall I wasted 3+ weeks thinking I had a fridge and now have to start the process over. Had I not called to “check the status” I’m pretty sure I would have waited for months for a fridge - even though I provided my payment over the phone, address, etc. she NEVER said she would have to check to see if she could get it. She sold it to me as if there was no issue. She even told me that she would cancel my order if I wanted to buy elsewhere - rather than try to make things right. I truly don’t think she ever placed the order, there was no follow through. SO DISAPPOINTED in this customer service it’s almost an embarrassment.
In December 2018 I purchased what the salesperson and I thought was a Franke faucet that swiveled between two bowls of our kitchen sink. It was always hard to swivel and the arm was short. Spray was fine. Questioning why it was getting more difficult to swivel in late August of 2020, I checked under the sink, discovered I was moving all the pipes under the sink as I swiveled the faucet. Yikes. Fortunately, on file, I had the very short pamphlet with token schematics and the Frankes packing slip with the date. I took that and photos to Ferguson, Carrboro. The manager, Chad, was most helpful. I told him I did *not* want him to ding the salesperson. Weve worked with them repeatedly and theyre very knowledgeable and know their business. They take time with the customer. The problem is the wretched schematics. Period. Chad looked up the faucet in the Franke catalog. It took some doing. He had to call Barry in Franke. Sure enough, I was sold a fixed faucet, not a swivel. With Chad negotiating with Franke, Chad explaining how difficult it is to interpret the schematics in the catalog, and then the meager, tiny, pamphlet, Franke exchanged the fixed one with a swivel. Plumber praised the quality of the Franke faucet. The pamphlet was zilch. Both Chad and Barry both were very understanding. Ferguson is amazing. Actually, Franke too. Five stars for Ferguson. Its amazing how easy it was to work with both companies. Those schematics though are meager at best.
A wonderful selection of all the latest and greatest fixtures and appliances for kitchens and bathrooms. The showroom is jam packed with any item you might need if, like me, you are remodeling your bathrooms. The problem is getting customer service. One lady asked if I needed help and told me to give her one minute when I said yes. I never saw her again. I waited for 30 minutes and no sales person ever approached me again. I even wandered by the office where a young staff member was eating her salad hoping that she would recognize I needed (wanted) some help spending money in the store. But, alas...the mixed greens in her salad bowl were more appealing to her that the greens in my wallet. It does not matter how wide a selection of goods a store has to offer is if you cant get some help buying them. They are only open Monday to Friday from 9-5 so I have no choice but to come on my lunch hour. And, by visiting them on my lunch hour, that means I dont have time to waste (certainly not to stand around for 30 minutes waiting for a staffer to help me. This place is the pits for customer service. I will have to look to another retail outlet to make my purchases.
I have dealt with the location in Greensboro for years so when my mom in Chapel Hill needed help with a shower repair, I called the Chapel Hill store, they were nice enough to refer me to a wonderful plumber who completed the job quickly and for much less than one of the big plumbing companies had quoted. Jessica in the show room took the time to help me figure out what parts and trim we needed and had it all ready and waiting for us!
Jessica could not have been more professional or helpful! She gave me invaluable advice on what to consider in picking out a tub and all my bath and kitchen fixtures; things I never would have thought of and that are VERY important to my happiness with these purchases. Her help made all the difference in the world on how happy I will be with my remodel. This is service you NEVER would get at a big box store, and yet she matched big box prices I looked up! I highly recommend going to Fergusons for your bath can kitchen needs.
Well designed setup, great products and very helpful staff.
I went to Furguson looking for shower hardware. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and engaging. I left with a comprehensive outline/estmate of shower hardware to satisfy my needs. The showroom is well laid out with examples of options.
Wide range of products and ease of ordering. HOWEVER, they messed up my order multiple times which delayed my project by many weeks. Very dismissive of mistakes. Very unfriendly. We have more house projects on our list and we will not be using Fergusons again. I do not recommend them.
Very helpful sales staff.
Ben at the counter provided awsome customer service!

Lady was very knowledgeable about light fixtures, but no customer service skills.
