They fixed my laptop within 3 business days, including having new parts shipped in! I was very pleased and would definitely go here again. The technician was very knowledgeable, easy to work with, and cost efficient. Before coming here, I took my laptop somewhere else and they had it for 3 weeks and returned it worse than it was! Im a tech at another repair shop. I was working with a customer that I had sent over as the rates at this shop are better for the job than what I could do. When my customer comes back I find that Gary has stolen over $400 in parts. Not only that but he claims that the whole computer is fried as a cable from the PSU touched the bottom of the motherboard. First thats not how that works at all, second he was liable and should be replacing what he destroyed. BUT IT GETS BETTER. I go to clean up his mess and find that the processor is missing. When we call him he says the processor was bent. Processors are almost impossible to bend unintentionally. He later in a separate call stated that one of the pins was bent so he threw it out bending pins back is relatively easy, but the kicker is that the processor in the computer did not have any pins. It was also missing the CMOS battery and the SATA cables. When I called him to ask, he told me he had given the customer everything back and then hung up when I brought up liability for the parts he says he broke. Not only that, everything he said was fried, functioned perfectly. Not only was his story bogus, he stole the parts and refuses to own up to it. Save yourself time and money and take your computer problems to a legitimate business instead of this thief.

Gary is awesome. We called when our business printer started having major issues and no one on our staff was able to troubleshoot the problem. Gary had it fixed in less than 24 hours and charged us a very fair rate. We are so happy to have found a local small business that does a quality job. EXEMPLOYEE/CUSTOMER:I am new to IT. I worked for him for a week and watched him steal parts. He breaks things intentionally to sell you his own trash.

I took in my gaming PC because it needed a new motherboard. Gary said the whole thing was dead when I know for a fact that it was fine and tried to upsell me on his sons old gaming system. I demanded my PC back and when I got it back I found that he STOLE my CPU claiming it was dead, along with several cables and the CMOS battery.Another tech I know from out of town took a look before I brought it to Gary was the one to notify me of the bad Motherboard. The I gave this trusted professional what was left of my PC and he called Gary asking about the missing components. The Sleeze ball hung up on him.

I dont normally write reviews but I felt I needed to do so. Gary the owner is awesome! I needed a new computer and got a great unit a equally great price. I had some installation issues and Gary just took care of it for me. He is also very involved in our community. I suggest giving this man a shot at your business.

Gary is not awesome. This guy is unprofessional and is a rip off. He wasn’t able to fix my phone and instead of refunding me he instead charged me and gave me my broken phone back. I will never come back here. He is rude and clearly doesn’t know what he is doing. If you have any phone issues drive over to Discount Phone repair in Littleton they are a million times better and work with you. Gary and his gas station shop aren’t worth your time.

The owner, Gary, is anything but fair. He is 100% a salesman and knows little about how computers actually work. I have worked for him in the past, and he squeezed out every little hope I had in humanity as I saw him lie to peoples faces and try to charge as much as he could to the older folks here in Castle Rock. I took my HP printer in for repair but it couldn’t be fixed. Gary spent over an hour and 1/2 diagnosing and cleaning the heads but it is not repairable. Gary was absolutely wonderful. He refused to charge me bc it couldn’t be fixed yet it wasn’t his fault! I HIGHLY recommend this shop for all your repair needs!!!

Gary is a total tool. The man steals parts from customer computers and feeds them lies to cover it up. When you try to talk to him about it he wont let you get a word in. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

My old Dell laptop finally gave up the ghost earlier this week, and there was no way I could afford a new computer. I was pretty much resigned to taking my chances on craigslist, but called several computer repair shops just to see what they might have available secondhand and/or refurbished. I got voicemail at most of them, but Gary at Protech answered, and then asked some questions about how I came to be shopping for a secondhand computer. At first I was wondering why he was so curious, but soon learned that hed recently been the recipient of a bunch of donated machines and was giving away the good ones to people in need, and using the leftovers for parts. He invited me to stop by, so I did, and pretty soon I had a nice, all-in-one HP desktop, and he even loaded it in the car for me and encouraged me to get in touch if I needed anything. Well, that was yesterday, and today Im back up and running online with a computer thats much better than what I had before (just in time for the big snowstorm thatll probably keep me in all weekend), and it was no charge. I cant thank him enough! What an unexpected blessing. If you know anyone whos fiscally-challenged and needs a good, no-frills computer, call Gary and see what hes got. I know hed especially like to see some of them go to seniors who just want something they can use for shopping and to Skype with the grandkids. Thank you so much, Gary! I am not a fan of technology, yet I unfortunately rely on it for daily business and personal use. My computer and phone both decided to play bad dog-bad dog leaving me frustrated and worried Id miss something very important if it was not functioning. I was leaving a castle rock appointment, leaving for another 20 minutes up the road when they both stopped working. I made 1 stop and met Gary. He asked I leave my phone and laptop with him for diagnostics and hed have it back to me in a few days if he could fix it. Well he chased me to the parking lot said he had my phone working. Took my husband’s iPhone in to have a new screen installed after it was cracked. I have no idea what they did, but now the screen stays black when trying to make a call. The flashlight turns on intermittently at will. I called them and my husband took it back in. They said it was working. Not! Now AT&T wants $250 deductible to fix it. At the same time I had a new protective film put on my phone. It’s crooked.... Will never go back there or recommend them.

DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. I am an ex-employee/customer and have seen how they manage their business, they will rip you off and then tell you that youre on your own/got a good deal. My personal business lost clients when I referred them to Protech because of the computers they passed on as new turned out to be secondhand garbage. I would recommend not working with them or for them, apparently they cant handle filing simple tax documentation either. In almost a decade in IT Ive never had so many bad experiences with one company.

I was devastated when my Lenovo laptop stopped working and the online support referred me to Gary. With no delay he started fixing my laptop and kept me updated every step of the way. When Lenovo shipped only part of the required items Gary did everything in his power to rectify the situation. I would refer anyone in need of computer repair to him immediately.
