Incredible service! So helpful, kind and don’t charge for extra things they didn’t need to. I was so impressed and will come here every time!

Woke up to a flat tire this morning (Sunday). Decide to take my car to Tire Choice to repair my tire with no appointment. They removed the screw and plugged the tire, placed it back on the car, and checked the air pressure on the other tires. They were friendly, accommodating and fast.

This is not my first time here. Service is always great. German Navarro is super friendly, professional and on point. I would recommend this shop to anyone who lives close, or even people who have car problems while traveling to the bay area

As a woman who knows nothing about cars, it’s a huge relief to find a place I can take my car for service that I can trust. Newer cars have warning lights that come on when it’s time for service, and they make me so nervous that I rush to get whatever service is needed. I appreciated their honesty and very considerate service when they told me that the light just needed to be reset, and the service wasn’t needed (so no charge.) I know there are other businesses that would have taken advantage of the situation, so I am grateful and will definitely come back in the future.

Where do I begin? I drive a Mercedes Benz and they beat any oil change price around. They beat any standard Service price around. They rotated my tires without asking. You can pull up for free and theyll fill your tires. Best place ever

This place sure has gone downhill. Ever since new management, no one cares, simple tasks such as oil changes now take two days, even when you drop off at 10am. It’s like there’s no oversight. I don’t imagine they will stay open much longer. It’s also cheaper at lube boys on Washington and the service is tons better.

They have the friendliest service! They go out of their way to help everyone.

I needed a tire patch on a Sunday after returning home from a Tahoe trip and needing to air up twice. Steven took care of my car for a drop in appointment. Professional and courteous. I will be going back for my future tire and wheel services. Also they are the only tire shop open on a Sunday so theyre getting all of the business for folks that really need it on that day. The best tire place I have visited. German was the man! He helped us out a lot. We were passing through the bay area and caught a flat made it to Tire Choice auto service center. German made sure the price worked for my budget and even made sure I wasnt hungry. I definitely recommend this specific tire spot there service is unmatched!

I originally came in for a new tire- thinking it needed to be replaced because we developed a slow leak driving in the city. They were able to cure the originally tire and save me $$, that was a lovely surprise. Tire prices were very fair too btw. All mechanics were very knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place! I will be returning!

Pretty poor service, if you want to get ripped off these are the guys to go to. I’m in my teen years and I had an overheating issue with my car and I knew most likely it was the thermostat and IT WAS. These guys wanted to tell me that my radiator was leaking and they wanted to flush the system and put a new radiator for 750 for something that I DID NOT NEED. Took my car to another shop found out that there was no leak in my radiator and they pressure tested the system and it was fine. Complete rip-off business run for your life from this place, wanted to charge me 750 for a 150 job as simple as a thermostat replacement.

Love these guys. Been going to them for a few years with all my tire issues. Just found out they do the 30K miles checks and other maintenance so Ill be bringing in my car for that now as well. Great service and a great job!

Went here for a routine oil change, and they lied about all sorts of repairs I needed. Will never be back here. Im certain this petty hustle happens all the time, and the management probably approves and encourages it. Shameless bunch. Makes me wonder if they actually changed the oil and filter or just charged me for it.

I brought my minivan in with a suspected nail in one of the tires. Jack was super friendly and helpful. He was upfront about how long the service would take, and assured me they would repair my tire FREE OF CHARGE if they did indeed find a nail in it. They found one, patched it up, and called me to let me know it was ready. I couldn’t believe they repaired it for free! I hadn’t even purchased any tires from them before. It was my first time here, but I will definitely be back!

This shop may have changed names but not how amazing the service is. Ive lived in town for 40 years and have been to every shop thats ever existed in town multiple times. Theres more to it than just putting tires on a car and German and the crew here understand that which is why he will have my business exclusively. As well I tell everyone I can to go there. Stellar customer service with unbeatable prices, cant ask for anything more. This tire shop is the best around, go here first and save yourself time and money!!

I called. They said just come in for an oil change and drop off the car it’ll be ready the same day. So I come. They tell me they are too full and I should have come earlier. It’s 10AM. the guy at the counter was also rude. The Firestone down the street is also cheaper.

I really appreciate when car service providers are honest and helpful, and Tire Choice definitely is! When I called to share my tire issue, the response was to try to fix the tire vs sell me a new one - and to try to help ASAP. When I arrived someone did immediately take a look, fixed right away, and didnt even charge a fee. Ill be coming back for all my future tire needs!

While passing through Castro Valley on an early Saturday morning, our car started having problems with the connection between the positive battery terminal post and the clamp. I had no tools on me, so I pulled into Tire Choice and explained to the manager our situation. He said, no problem; pull up over there. One of the staff got busy right away and with a bit of effort and ingenuity solved our problem. I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. They were fast, professional, and friendly. TireChoice Auto Service Center of Castro Valley, CA did a superb job last week replacing a flat and two other balled tires with new tires. My tire type being out of stock at their shop at that time, they not only ordered the tires, personally picked them up, installed and aligned them but also gave me a ride to and from my job all in approximately 3.5 hours. In addition, I’ve got lifetime tire balancing, rotation and tire repair with that new purchase. I’ve decided to use them for my future oil changes instead of the Chevy dealer from now on even though I live 20 minutes away... that’s how happy I am with the quality of service TireChoice gave me that day!

Took my Sonata in December 19 for new front tires & front break service. The squealing started in a day & was soon followed by odd humming noise. Both noises became so bad returned and they kept car for a day and assured us problem was fixed. Screeching and horrible hum returned immediately. We were moving out of town so didnt drive car until we had time to get brakes checked. Today Midas found spring clips missing from both pads & broken tab on one. No lubrication at all on new breaks. Shame on you Tire Choice of Castro Valley. We gave you a chance to fix your mistakes & guess you didnt even look at it the 2nd time. DO NOT GET YOUR BREAKS DONE HERE!!!

I saw a Reddit post about places not changing your oil filter, so we took pictures and markings. My son is a mechanic, but doesn’t do oil changes. I Called the store, they didn’t care. Corporate didn’t care. This place will never get my money again. Stay far away!!

Normally over booked and busy. But, good service. Been coming here for breaks and tires for both my BMW and Ford Raptor for 10+ years. If I’ve ever had an issue with something, they quickly resolved it. Recommend.

Last year, Tire Choice changed my tires and did a great job. Today, I ran over a bolt and got a flat tire, so I brought my car in for them to check out. Steve took one look at the tire and confidently said, “oh yeah, I can fix that!” He then repaired the tire for absolutely no charge. (I believe this was because my tires had been purchased there, but I’m not sure.) Steve was kind, professional, and reassuring throughout the process. I highly recommend Tire Choice!

I would say theyre pretty efficient. I went to them at around 3pm then got my car back at around 4pm for two rear tire replacement with alignment. The price is pretty reasonable.

I had a nail in a tire and they fixed it in a couple hours for 30 dollars. Even better I asked them to inspect all of the tires, which they did for free and found a nail in another tire. Great service and great work.

I had a flat tire late Saturday evening and needed to get it fixed right away. Tire Choice was the only place open on a Sunday morning. Jack, who handled my case, was very friendly, and because this was my first time at their place, gave me an awesome discount. Given the backlog I was told it might take a few hours but was pleasantly surprised when they got back to me in under two hours to say my car was ready. Friendly staff and great service. Given that I am new to Castro Valley, this will be my place of choice should I have car issues in the future!

Drove in today on my spare tire, and not only were they open today (Labor Day), but everyone was so friendly and I had new tires and an alignment done in no time whatsoever! After using them for 5+ years they refused to issue a warranty on my tires. But their corporate office said it was a valid warranty and that they should honor it. When I asked for a quote on the new tires they gave me a price much higher than what was on their website. So I called their Dublin store to verify this price. The Dublin store quoted me the same price on the website. I would NOT recommend this location.

Due to the condition of my tire, a gentlemen named Steven helped me by giving me multiple choices to pick from and educated me on why I needed a new tire versus repair, THANK YOU ! I really liked the Customer service and i was still able to make it to work on time. Very affordable prices, great team and I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

I was a loyal customer in this auto shop before, I do oil change and maintain here all the time. however, after this times break change, I will no longer doing business with them. at the beginning, they gave me a ok price for my Mercedes C250 for brake pad and router change in $1000. everything goes good until the end. they dont even have a equipment to turn off the brake sensor (Mercedes comes with a brake sensor to tell the driver is time to check the brake and all other maintains, after the maintain, the mechanic should restart the sensor, some part require some equipment to restart). after I get my car back, I ask them to help me to turn the sensor because I thought they just forgot. then after a while, they told me to come back another day because they dont have the equipment. (another minus point, but I got no choice). however, I came back another day, then they ask me to go to another auto shop, other people can help me to fix it without charger. I was thinking, whats wrong with you guy. If you cant fix a Mercedes, dont take the maintain at the beginning. (at the end I didnt go to the auto shop they mention, because I cant find it, they name they provided is totally not in the area).even now, the signal light still on every time when I turn on my car. although I know it is not a problem for the brake, but it is so annoying.NEVER BRING YOUR LUXURY CAR TO THIS AUTO SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friendly neighborhood tire service team! Came here for the first time today because one of my tires hit a nail on the road last night. Brought my car in around 9ish this morning and I was back on the road by 10:30.Service was fast, good, and FREE! My car got broken into last month, and along with all the stuffs that were taken, my key to unlock the lug nuts for my wheels was gone too; just realized that this morning. The team unlocked all my wheels for FREE too... what a wonderful start for my morning :)Thank you German and his team. You guys rock!

Tire Choice is our Go-To place for auto service. Tires, oil changes and repair work. German and the rest of the staff clearly have customer service as their top priority. Over all companys ive had work on my vehicle this place gets a four star for there customer service and there mechanical work as well .i had a few things wrong with my car. They did a free inspection of my car and fix only the things that were wrong. Took my car in early for oil change and they did it while I waited even though they had a stack of oil changes that were from the day before! I am only writing this at one star because that is all I could put for the lowest score. otherwise, it wouldve been a -5. let me tell you guys something before you go to this Goodyear shop the manager German does act nice however when I brought my Pontiac in to have it serviced he said after eight days of possessing the car he could not fix it and it would be worth just scrapping it and he left a voicemail saying he was going to leave it parked in the Safeway parking lot next-door really unprofessional the car couldve been towed or worse it couldve been storm with my name on it you know I really thought that he was going to be a very nice person and a very down to business guy since hes always so talkative and besides doing what he does in the shop I would like to have everyone understand hear that when you deal with somebody for a long time you do create a relationship and in my opinion it was not my fault just because a friend of mine came in with me and mouth off to him once when I did not tell him to nor did I know he was going to do that however I guess he was just in concern of me so I must say that he really needs to work on himself and his behaviors when it comes to customers that have spent tens of thousands probably almost to hundreds of thousands of dollars in that shop have a nice day

This has been a review i should have done along time ago. now dont get me wrong i have been treated with respect and they were happy to try and help me fix my problems as well as helping fix somethings i didnt know were wrong.Now the reason that i will only be giving one star is not to do with how i was treated or the way that the staff handles problems that arise.The reason is simple i have had my front end redone by this location as it was time for the repairs i paid a lot of money to have it repaired. Now i had to get my alignment done as i have a larger truck so it would not fit on Goodyears alignment rack. So i had to take it to Les Schwab for the alignment. Les Schwab would not allow the alignment to be done as they quoted me on getting the exact parts i just have fixed replaced again.Went back to Goodyear and they did replace the parts and a few other parts that needed it so yes they did take care of the issue at that time.The real reason i have to give one star is once again went to get the alignment done after all of this was replaced and fixed and yet again they are showing up as bad parts. this is the third time they will be replaced now. this is why i will only give one star is once the first go around of replacements happened all of the sudden those parts are still bad and there are other issues that keep popping up directly related to the first set of fixes.To reiterate i am not giving the review based on the quality of customer service or the quality of how i was treated this is strictly a review on my experience with the overall quality of the work and longevity of the parts that are coming out of this location.

My truck broke down on a Saturday afternoon, on vacation, and headed out to Yosemite. Pulled into Goodyear and they had me back on the road within an hour. The manager there is awesome. He truly saved my vacation.

Terrible experience Never going back! they didnt tighten th oil pan bolt properly my car leaked oil I called went back th next day they drained th oil out filled it back up tightened th bolt and and had nothing but a bad attitude about th issue. Oh yes, and they got grease smudges in and on my freshly washed car. If you like halfass work done on your car, thats place to go.

Just moved to the area and my tire kept going flat. I called Certified Tires and the manager answered the phone. His name is German Navarro and he is very nice and personable. Because I was new to the area he offered to fix my tire for free even though there was only 20 minutes left till closing. While I waited we chatted about things to do around the area and he even showed me some great products to help keep my tires from going low all the time. I really like to have places I consistently go to for various things and this will definitely be my new tire store. I plan on getting my brakes fixed here as well. The crew there were fast and friendly as well. Thanks German.
