This is my gun shop of choice. Outstanding line up of firearms, and exceptional level of customer service. This place gets crowded at times, but only because they are the best shop around. Following their Instagram seems to be one of the best ways of seeing when ammo shipments come in as well as new firearms that are of higher demand.

Poor service! I was ready to spend $2,000 dollars on my safety, and I could not even get an acknowledgement for help. understanding that they were busy at that moment, but a please sir Ill be with you in a moment would have been great. Dont deserve my American money at this time....

Great group of people working at Elite Armory CV. I was a beginner several years ago, they patiently explained to me my choices and what fits my hands better. I was focused on 32 acp beretta tomcat, but after handling it took their advice not the right choice for me. Ended up getting Glock 19, this was back in 2019. Keep up the good work!

Sign on the door says to wait in line to get in. Waited 10 minutes outside before someone came out. Was then told to wait another 20 minutes just to get inside to buy a box of ammo.

Small but not bad had a small variety to choose from and some cheap ammo for the bulk is a long wait of you come at a bad time but sometimes if you know what your looking for its worth the wait

We love visiting our friends at elite armory in Castro valley to see what new firearms they have. Due to covid they have a waitlist system so be prepared to wait a bit if there busy. But promise it’s worth the wait to go inside!! they have a wide selection good prices and super knowledgeable on any question you have regarding a firearm your interested in or one you have but have questions on. We also go to the Tracy location often for range time too!!

Drove from Sacramento to complete a PPT. Website says PPT walk ins welcome. Fifteen minutes BEFORE opening (Saturday), employee walks outside, yells across parking lot to say are you here for a PPT? As both parties to PPT present state yes to which employee yells no PPTs. Only on weds. Goes inside. Went to Solar Tactical six minutes around corner. In and out in seven minutes.

The service here is enthusiastic, genuine, expert, and friendly. And their pistol selection was the best Ive seen in the Bay Area. Highly recommended!

This is my third firearm from them (first two in the Tracy location). Just like the store in Tracy, the experience and customer service was great. They took the time to help me find what I needed. Anthony helped me out and was SUPER helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely will continue to buy all my firearm needs from this location and in Tracy.

After the 10day waiting period, Time to pick up after waiting in line can take more then 30 minutes. I know things take time but this is really slow.

You would think this level of customer service and hospitality would be a no brainer with the rest of the shops out there, but in my experience that hasnt been the case. These guys get it! Helpful and knowledgeable on the subject matter. Will recommend nothing else but this place to all my buddies and anyone else curious about finding a place of this caliber.

Chris and Josh are very helpful and knowledgeable. Got me set up quickly with my application to buy a new handgun. They are a small store, so their selection is limited, and it does get busy in there. Not much room to walk around. And, prices are a bit higher than I expected.

Went in a couple of weeks ago to check price and availability of a .22. I was told everything was on backorder but they would check for me while I waited outside. 10? Min or so the guy comes outside and gives me the info that the gun was available and the price. It was $140 over msrp! I have bought a couple of guns from this store in the past so I started asking why the price was so high. The explanation was “that’s what the boss said” I walked away upset w the price gouging attitude. I made 1 call and bought the gun for $60 under msrp at another shop. I won’t be doing any more business here.

I have been here before with ok service but today was terrible. I waited in their tiny shop for over 10 minutes with no krecigniti9n that I was there not even a hello we will be right with you. After 10 I asked a question and was continuously ignored. I am all for supporting local but I recon solar tactical will get my service now. They are a much better choice.

My new go to gun shop. Theyre very knowledgeable and patient even when the place is packed with customers and people with questions. Purchased my first firearm here and I am extremely pleased with the way the process went, quick and easy. Also very affordable compared to most.

Im not sure how anyone has a bad experience here...i love these guys. They are really awesome. I also go shooting at their tracy location a lot. I bought my first gun here and i am on my 2nd gun as we speak. They have always been super chill, totally down to answer all your questions and more than willing to let you see any firearms. Everybody at Elite Armory is great! i dont usually write reviews but i felt like i had to for this store. everybody is very helpful answering my questions, just picked up a spikes tactical lower receiver yesterday and from start to finish they were attentive to any question i had. Ive been to other stores and you kinda get the feeling like your a burden being there and asking questions, but not with these guys! 5 stars! WILL BE THERE SOON TO PURCHASE A NEW 1911!

Very knowledgeable group of people here that are not afraid to ask a fellow staff member about their knowledge of a specific firearm. Too many times I’ve asked questions at other gun shops only to have the person “helping” me just make up an answer to try to get the sale closed. Gabe and the rest of the team at Elite Armory always make me feel like they want me to buy the gun that best fits me as opposed to other places that want me to buy the most expensive gun. They’ve earned themselves a loyal customer in me.

Awesome place to go for rifles and handguns, new and used. Staff is friendly, down to earth with good information. Bought a new Beretta PX4 Storm 40, used Sig p226 and most recent used Saiga 7.62 x 39. This is my gun shop, definitely coming back here for my 1911.

Came here for match grade .223 which is borderline impossible to find for probably obvious reasons. While they didnt have it, the gentleman behind the counter was super cool and explained I could order pretty much any ammo through their website. I also watched a gun deal before interacting with that gentleman, and the other guy was being really courteous to someone who seemed like a first time buyer, which is exactly what this industry needs in these tough political times. I will definitely be returning when I get the chance.

Guys at Elite Armory are awesome, exellent customer service plus a good variety of firearms. Had work done building my strip lower and changed my sights & trigger on my Glock. I have to say Im completely satisfied and very happy with their services!

A great gun shop. The salesmen know their products and do not waste your time. HOWEVER being the only shop in town the prices are 20% higher than what anyone in the United States (not California) could easily find. These people are clearly profiteering on the backs of the overrun beaten down California consumers. As far as taking in FFL restricted shipments such as repaired products from out of state smiths they cannot be frigging bothered to do that either. They confuse screwing people around with making a profit. Then again maybe they do understand the market and like screwing people. Karma may find the shop owners, who knows. Go there if you are in a hurry. Shop around for much much better standard gun shop service when you can. J. G.

Friendly clean and well stocked. Awesome staff talked with Owen for 20-30min got some good info and asked about smithing and cleaning work. All around great place to go.

Bought a bolt action rifle online and had it transfer there. People there are awesome! Very responsive and friendly. It’s a small store with limited selection.The only complaint I have is that the transfer fee was way too expensive, $125. I probably would expect $50-$75, but I can almost buy another gun with $125. Maybe if some of that fee can be waive when you purchase something in the store, I would be a bit happier. Probably not going to use Elite Armory for FFL online purchases in the future, but it’s a great store to browse and talk to knowledgeable people.

Bought a Plano gun case earlier today for $104.00 including tax only to find it later on the Internet for as low as $58.00 (YIKES) I figured they would be a little more expensive then most places but at almost twice the cost, Ill be sure to never go there again. Id recommend that you do your homework before ever going to this store and just to save yourself some time and go some where else. I asked the sales rep if there was something he could do about the price and he said it what was a good deal, yeah right. I considered taking it back and ordering the one online, however, elite armory charges a 10% restocking fee. Even with the restocking fee I still may take it back, not only because Id still be saving money but because I hate the feeling of being raped as a consumer. Thanks guys at Elite, now I know where not to go

Bad customer service and not reputable; still waiting on my refund.Reason for the review: I took a piece in to have a kit conversion done. They examined everything and payment was taken. After leaving, I received a call saying that they could no longer help me because they found weed in the carry bag. Panicked and trying to figure out how a bag of weed go in my bag I rushed back. When I asked to see the weed, I was presented with two small sticks about the length of a nickel, covered in lint. It was not weed. Mind you, this bag had been open on their in-store counter for at least 20 minutes and there was no smell or anything.I have OCD, so I took the sticks to a dispensary that confirmed my suspicion. I was turned away for two dirty sticks from a camping trip. Oh, and I am still waiting on my supposed refund. If you want plant experts with your smithing then maybe this is the place for you. Ridiculous.
