I had the best experience wedding dress shopping. This was the first place I went to and they were so helpful. I had no idea what I wanted and the lady gave us suggestions and talked us through everything. She was the sweetest lady! She was so helpful and friendly. We had to order the dress in a different size and it comes in just 3 weeks as well, which is so quick! Once we found the perfect dress she helped us find the perfect accessories to go with it. I 100% recommended going to this store. They were so nice and made it such a great experience for me and my family. I definitely will be telling everyone to come here!

I love this place! They had a large inventory of beautiful dresses all within a great price range. Nicole was kind, welcoming, and very helpful! The whole experience was very stress free and a lot of fun. I found so many dresses I loved that it was hard to choose. I was able to take my dress home that day, which was amazing since COVID has slowed down all delivery. All around great people and great products. I had been to a few bridal shops in SLC before making an appointment with Celebrate the Occasions. I had heard great things about them so when I had little to no luck at the other places I was excited to give them a try. I walked in and was greeted so nicely at the door and treated nothing shy of a princess the entire visit. I was able to look at the selection and pick a few dresses that caught my attention. With every dress I felt so beautiful, but it wasnt until this one that I fell in LOVE with a dress! They have better pricing than anywhere else I had been and were so friendly. Im always so excited to tell people I went to Celebrate the Occasions for my PERFECT dress!

I loved my experience at Celebrate the Occasions! I showed up with my mom 15 mins before closing just to peak inside and see if they had anything that I would want to come in and try another day. The owner happened to be there and offered to stay open so I could try them on. I picked 4 or 5 dresses and tried them on. Found one I fell in love with but I looked terrible because I had just gotten off work. I came in the next day with makeup and hair done to try it on again. She fit me with a veil and ordered it for me in the correct color. Definitely would recommend this to any and everyone!

I cannot express my gratitude to Nicole and her lovely consultants for the care and consideration they put into every bridal appointment. The bridal appointments are supposed to be 1 hour and 30 minutes long but thanks to Nicole, the store owner, I was able to find my dress in under 40 minutes! I did a lot of research on bridal shops that not only offered the modest styles I was looking for, but would guarantee my first wedding dress shopping experience would be amazing and Celebrate the Occasions did just that! My experience was extremely loving and you could tell that every consultant who works there is passionate about their work. You are highly likely to find what you are looking for at this location, no matter what style! There is a large selection to try on and choose from. The bridal changing areas are super spacious and the seating area for those you bring along are comfortable and accommodating. The store itself is modern, stylish, and very well-kept! From being measured, trying on the dresses, and finally choosing my wedding dress and accessorizing was all completely stress-free. Since I already had an idea of what I wanted for my dress, I was able to pull straight from the racks while Nicole waited patiently to help me try on my personal selection. She was knowledgeable in what veils would look best with each dress depending on my own want to have a cathedral veil. I ended up not only purchasing my dress, but the accessories that Nicole added to it. I was even able to get a discount after participating in deals on the stores social media. The prices were just what you would expect with such well-made gowns and they were very affordable! I am so very ecstatic that I was able to find my dress here since I had come all the way from Las Vegas. Let me tell you, going here was not a mistake! Please make an appointment and find your dream dress here, it is soooooo worth it!

This store was heaven sent!Ive searched months for a wedding dress I would feel comfortable in. My mom got the suggestion for Celebrate the Occasion from a close friend and we started looking at the dresses on the website. After making an appointment we traveled from St. George to see the store, and goodness was it worth it!SO many options, and the Costumer service was absolutely wonderful! No matter how many dresses I picked up along the way, they were very friendly, kind, and helpful. I felt so welcomed and special. Highly recommend them, even if it might be a bit of a drive for some.

Who knew the small town of cedar City Utah would have the best bridal shop in Southern Utah. Amazingly helpful staff. Beautiful new location. There is definitely no need to drive for hours to go to a bigger store. They have so many beautiful wedding dresses to pick from and a HUGE changing area to try them on. Thank you so much for making this day so special and treating my daughter like a princess. I am so glad we picked your shop for this special day. After we finally selected the perfect dress we finished the day by walking across the street to the pastry pub. Best food and best bridal shop right next to each other . What a great day .

Last minute I needed a suit for my 2 month old in a very short turn around (ordered Wednesday needed Sunday). There wasnt even a hesitation or question she got in the phone and ordered it, it was delivered to her old address and was taken back to the UPS hub (Friday), she was tracking it so called and went and picked it up after hours to make sure we could get it in time on Saturday! It was a pleasure shopping, ordering, and picking up!

There is not a single place out there that will be as genuine and down to earth, kind, loving, and patient as Nicole at CTO.It has been a disaster trying to plan a wedding during a global pandemic & in the middle of a rioting country. Finding a dress was near impossible! No one in St. George had inventory in my size because of shipments being held, and none of the establishments explained that to me until I had already driven an hour to be there, even though they new my size beforehand. The experience elsewhere felt rushed and insensitive. Even unorganized. I left St. George feeling hopeless and discouraged. I wanted to be able to find the right dress, even if the rest of the wedding fell apart from the recent chaos!Being new to Cedar City I didnt realize CTO even existed, until I passed it on my way home! I whipped around and headed into the establishment, desperate at this point.Nicole greeted me with total compassion and helped me find the perfect dress tucked away in her impressive inventory, in under 30 minutes. Not only was I ecstatic that I had found a beautiful dress, but she also helped me feel more hopeful and empowered about my entire wedding. I am so glad I stopped at CTO, it was a therapeutic experience for me during a very stressful time, and I couldnt be more pleased with my beautiful dress. Happy tears all around. GO SEE NICOLE.

IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A WEDDING DRESS, LOOK HERE FIRST! TOO MANY GREAT THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE!1) Lets start with employees: the ladies that work here were so incredibly nice to me, my mom, and future mother in law. Ive gone to dress stores before when I was in high school to look for prom dresses and always felt very pressured to buy something. Particularly if it was out of my price range. Not here, I honestly felt like I was going to go visit a bunch of my favorite aunts who happened to be the sweetest most understanding ladies ever. I went in not really knowing what I wanted but they helped me so patiently and I felt so comfortable the whole time. They really were just such genuine people.2) Inventory. When I called they said they had the biggest inventory in southern Utah which, for me, means I get to try stuff on that actually fits me. They have sooooo many cute dresses. Their website also has a bunch for you to look at before hand (just keep in mind they might not have your size). I will mention most of the dresses I tried on were between $1000 and $1600. Im not sure if they have cheaper ones but that seems pretty standard for a high quality new wedding dress.3) Their new location is beautiful! Very clean. I was impressed with the bathroom haha. Brand new. I dont think they even finished decorating yet but we all thought it was a beautiful store. The area for brides to try on dresses is huge and the waiting area for family is set up nicely.In the end I chose to purchase my dress here and Im so glad I did. I felt zero pressure. It didnt feel salesman-y at all. They were just sincerely happy about me getting married and wanted to really help me find a dress that I loved.

This place is so awesome! I walked in without an appointment and she lets us try on dresses and still helped us so much. She held the dress I wanted for the day and let us come back and try on again. She called the seamstress and she came right up to help us out as well. Absolutely amazing!

I have never been fitted for a dress even though I am in my 40s. I was nervous, I wanted a age appropriate dress for my upcoming June wedding. Nicole was so patient with me, helped me find exactly what I was looking for, had the dress color, sleeve and skirt length altered to fit what I wanted. She put a rush on the dress and it will be here promptly for the big day! I couldnt of done it with out her and the staff. Thank you from this nervous bride!

We went to Celebrate the Occasions to find a wedding dress for my daughter. The selection of dresses was probably at least double of what we found in St. George, and Nicole was SO WONDERFUL! She was so kind and patient. We will definitely drive the extra miles to go there again.

I live in Orem Utah valley area and I searched and searched for a wedding dress in that area but failed after every attempt. Luckily my mom lives in cedar and of all places I found my wedding dress here. I was super shocked because I didn’t have much hope but the people here helped me out so much and had exactly what I was looking for. The dress I found was even on sale saving me a lot. Love this place, it was such a great experience, no pressure. I’m a believer!

This is an amazing place. The ladys that helpped me were fantastic. I came in with no real idea of what I wanted and walked out with the one! They were great listeners of what I loved and didnt like about dresses. I felt like they were part of my wedding party. Plus it wasnt crowded and they had plenty of seats. I have been debating on whether or not to leave a review, and my decision was to wait over night until I had gained composure, and my emotions had settled.Yesterday, May 29, 2018, I had made an appointment to look at, and try on, wedding dresses. I showed up with my mother, my daughter, one of my bridesmaids, and my fiancé (whom was dropping me off). All of whom were witnesses to how poorly i was spoken to by the woman in the shop.As I was filling out the short form they give to brides, my daughter and bridesmaid started looking through dresses. Without skipping a beat the lady in the store quickly glanced at me and told them to look in the bigger sizes. Now, mind you i am average size. Between a 12 and a 14, so yes, i know my dress size will be a bit larger. Still no reason to emphasize BIGGER SIZES when speaking of a person standing right there. As i was looking through the racks of dresses the lady working kept referring to my size. She was stating that because of my size i would be limited to what i could choose in her store, or elsewhere. All she was focused on was MY SIZE!! I tried on a dress, walked out and she grabbed the back of the dress trying to squeeze my top into it. Mind you, i have a large chest and i am aware of alterations that will need to be made. However, spouting off that the zipper needs to be removed and a lace up put in place to accomodate bigger sizes. When i became visibly upset she raised her voice from across the room and said,If it makes you feel any better we have helped women much larger than you help find their dream dress...No. No,it does not help me feel better. Wedding dress shopping is something that should be special, fun, and create happy memories. It should not be full of anxiety, comments about weight, full of reminders about limitations, and being constantly reminded about your size.Its sad because she does not know the struggles of each person who walks through the door, or if they have lost weight and are proud of that, or have gained weight for medical/emotional or any other reason. Not once was i asked a single question about my upcoming wedding. But the comments about size just kept coming. My aunt showed up as i walked out in tears and she talked to the lady in the store who admittedly said she speaks to all her brides that way, and she refused to apologize for being so rude.This saddens me because I have received nothing but amazing customer service from other employees, and the owner, when shopping for dresses for my daughter. I wont be returning, nor will i refer anyone here. No one should feel humiliated, embarrassed, or looked down on for being a human being with curves that doesnt fit societies view of perfection.
