BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! The guys there are VERY nice and didnt screw me over since Im a girl! They got my SUV in right away this morning and had it done before noon! I HIGHLY recommend them! Will definitely use them again.

The manager Josh has assembled a great group of highly trained, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional technicians to work on our cars! You can expect a friendly welcoming environment, where the guys actually care and take the time to walk you to your vehicle and show you exactly what is wrong. They are detail oriented and do a through inspection too, not just with their eyes, but actually take the time to makes sure things feel right. Because of this a simple oil change turned into replacing a part that was a major safety concern. Plus the work was still done all in the same time! Thanks for keeping us safe on the road! They were awesome!! I called to ask about them looking at my food truck. Most places refused to even try since it wont work on most lifts. They made it work! Im sure it took more work than other cars, but they still did a great job on it. I even brought my new-used car there later for a checkup. They were amazing and explained everything in detail to me. They even helped me call the dealership to ask about my options. I definitely trust them and will be going there for all car issues going forward!

I just want to say I have always had good service at the Cedar Falls Midas. I know the car is getting up in miles 128,000 but unfortunately I needed new shocks that impacted the back tires. He replaced the shocks and was able to extend the use of the tires by rotating them to the front. He also was able to find a discount to help reduce the expense to meet our budget. I also appreciate Kim fitting me in that day to get this auto problem fixed. I have been a long customer there and when I have seen the good quality service and how they care about there customers, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my car service. Thanks!

We walked in and it took the guy behind the counter more than 5 minutes to ask my husband what he needed. My husband said we need a tire fixed he asked if we had an appointment and my husband said no and he said we can’t help you. We left and went to priority one who was able to help right away and was friendly. I’m sorry but my tire didn’t make an appointment with me to let me know it was gonna run over a nail and need to be replaced. I understand they were busy however the way he talked to us was unprofessional. I will never do business here and will be definitely tell everyone I know how unprofessional this business is.

Josh is so awesome takes care of me most times the same day. This is my number 1 choice for mechanical shops in the Cedar Valley number 1 reason is he and his crew are honest mechanics. They tell me what is wrong and no pressure to fix it. I have been so unhappy with numerous other shops with the lies and high pressure to get work done there that isn’t even needed. As long as they are honest with me I will never go anywhere else. I will say my least favorite thing here is higher prices but it’s well worth it to get the quality he and his staff perform. Tried to give this 0 stars so sadly Im giving them 1 for not being able to successfully perform an oil change and now making me worried about the extra work they did to my car. They said theyre the cheapest around and it shows why.

Over the course of the last few years we have tried various mechanics in town, and none compare to the quality service we receive at Midas on University. Josh and everyone at this business are always professional, knowledgeable, and honest. I wouldn’t trust my vehicle in anyone else’s hands!

This was the third time I drove out to Midas to get 1st.class service. I took my daughters car out to Midas knowing there were 2 muffler shops close by. I had recieved great service before and once again I left fully satisfied. I will be back when I need the repairs, they are quick, good, and on time. I also used the online appointment and it was on the rack on time.

Took used car for inspection. They did pretty good job.

I needed a muffler asap, I called around and was having a difficult time trying to find someone who could repair it for me quickly, I called Midas and Kim got me in with in an hour for an evaluation, I was so happy. The muffler replacement was in my budget, The crew treated me like family, had me back on the road with in an hour and a half. I am so thankful I found Midas, I will be going to Midas for all of my car service needs!!!!!!

Earlier I shared a post on Midas on how I felt with 3 stars. But news was told to me on hows one worker went above and beyond to fix my problem I would like to say Im Sry and thank u Josh for your hard work and dedication.

As a part time resident of the area, this was the first time i needed my car worked on because it is usually in Massachusetts. The car is here because we avoided flying due to the virus. Anyway, I picked Midas because I used the company in the long, long ago. I picked this particular outlet because the manager Josh was getting a lot of good commentary. I sensed that this would be a costly trip but the estimate was within bounds. The car was fixed in little over an hour. Josh was personable and up front about my issue (muffler etc.) I add an extra shout out to J.D. for his help too.

Horrible experience!!!I made a appointment online for an oil change but when I got there, the manager looked at me and said their Midas does not do online appointments. He then told me they could do an oils change for “ME” until next week. The man wouldn’t even look me in the face. And we wonder why our country is do divided.Welcome to America....

They messed up while working on my starter and fried out my instruments panel and refused to fix thier mistake costing me an additional 700 dollars at another shop to fix it **update. While preparing for litigation I discovered that local shops like boubins wouldve charged half as much and garenteed the work. And dealing with shop manager Josh about this situation he has been unhelpful and disingenuous and have refused to offer any kind of substantialhelp to fix thier mistake To the point of stating we already got paid for the work....so in short they price gouged, do not stand behind thier work and if they damage your vehicle its your problem not theirs... they are the definition of a shady auto shop that prays on uninformed customers

I highly recommend this place! I walked in with very little experience/knowledge about cars but all the staff members were very kind and understanding. They were able to get me in on a short notice with amazing service. Theyre willing to answer all your questions and I can tell they care about every single person that walks through that door. I will for sure make this my go-to place for car repairs.

I have been coming here nearly 5 yrs. It is a couple hours from where i live so i plan my appointments for when I have to be in the area. They are always thorough, get everything done without having to make you wait forever and keep you posted on the needs of your vehicle. carlos. Yesterday, had some questions for them about some issues that the dealership work on and I did not feel it was done correctly and they adjusted things so they are now correct. They are honest and always go the extra mile

Had a weird noise coming from my car, so I decided to get it checked out. I came to Midas based off of their reviews and they did not disappoint. I was able to get an estimate on vehicle and get it fixed on the same day. They also went over financing options with me and were able to bring me back to my apartment and offered to come pick me up after my car was finished. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know in the area!

I was trying to get two 305/65R17 tires mounted and balanced on my truck. I had been turned away by multiple shops. These guys got me in and out in no time at a very very good price. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family and I will not hesitate to go back at any time.

Amazing midas shop, the manager was very professional, personable and I was shown the work that was going to be done even without asking (I was taken into the shop bay and shown)! I had a new set of brakes done and serpentine belt replaced and I was shown the wear of each part being replaced. For ANY service or repair go to this shop! They know what they are doing and are very transparent and honest! I will definitely be back if I need anything done!

Thought I needed a tire repair and oil change, but the tire was not patchable. They helped me get one new tire and, with my near-new spare, they saved me hundreds over replacing four tires on 2006 Explorer.

Today (September 12th, 2017) I walked into the Midas shop on University in Cedar Falls, and right away, I knew it was going to be a good experience! Not only was the manager kind and friendly, he was quick to assist me in getting my breaks good to go! Within 20 minutes of my walking through the door, they had the car up on the hoist and an estimate before me, showing me what needed to be fixed, how much, and my options.Not sure what to do I called my parents, hoping the manager would be OK with speaking with my dad. Not only did he personally speak with my father, they were able to work out a deal price wise and saved us in the long run more money! I was blown away and pleased.When it came to the service of my car, I watched in awe as a skilled man began working his magic, fixing my breaks all within my eye sight. I was able to see what was going on, when something happened, and the manager kept me up to date on what was going on. Before payment was due, the man who fixed my car took it for a quick test drive to insure the car was ready!I am beyond happy with my time at Midas, and I will defiantly use them in the future! Thanks to Josh and the amazing crew!!! Our car was towed to Cedar Falls location at 4:35, these guys did not hesitate to get our car in and have it fixed in 15 minutes. Excellent, honest service at a great price. Josh, the manager, along with the two techs I met, gave sound, helpful advice and were very friendly and accommodating. I opted for the Midas Maintenance Check, and Josh was quick to explain exactly what was being done to my vehicle. I asked several questions about my truck, unrelated to the services they were providing me at the time, and Josh didnt hesitate to give me free, professional input about them, either. To top it off, he looked up and applied a hefty coupon to my final cost without my asking. Now, thats service. I dont think I will ever be using Midas again. Today, I had to have repairs done to correct faulty work done on my car by your shop. I ended up being forced to pay for parts to fix your mechanics sloppy work! This should have all been under warranty. The man behind the counter was nice and did his best, but the mechanic was a jerk.On top of all of the trouble with my car, when I returned to pick it up I was ambushed by your mechanic, who was waiting right inside the door. As soon as I walked in the door and he called me trailer trash. I do not live in a trailer and I am not trash. I do not know this man at all except that I saw him working on my car. I had never spoken to him before. I was so surprised that I couldnt even respond. I dont know why he felt the need to insult me after I had already been forced to waste several hours out of my day and pay for parts for a car repair that was caused by sloppy work. This is just disgusting behavior on the part of an employee of a national company that should NEVER happen to a customer.

Took my truck to a service shop in town was told upper ball joint was bad and was quoted at over $1000 to replace. Brought my vehicle to Midas and was told it was fine, even brought me out to the shop to prove it was fine and not even any tears in the seal. Honest and trustworthy shop.

The guys at midas are so helpful and kind. They will actually educate you on whats going on with your car which most places dont. Theyre honest about what needs to be fixed right away and what will eventually. Great prices! Great service!

Replaced front and back brake pads $363, after those where replaced have issues ever since.Stopped by again just to be told that one caliper needs to be replaced for additional $400+ but during first diagnostic none of that was mentioned.

While passing through town, on our way to a concert, our car wheel bearing started going out. We had VERY limited time, but they got us right in and had us fixed and out the door within just a couple hours!
