My best friend recommended this practice! I love the office, very clean and beautiful and the equipment looks new. My experience was great from walking in. Davin checked me in. She was welcoming and very kind. She explained what each machine was doing. Dr Tran was very nice and very personable. My previous eye doctor I had since the 5th grade. I am now in my 30s. Dr Tran and his staff made me extremely comfortable and welcomed. I intend to make him my long term eye care doctor!

We came here based on the recommendation of an adult patient. They just did not appear equipped to treat children even though if you call and ask, they will tell you they treat toddlers. I am sure they are great with adults!However, do not take toddlers here to be treated. They expected my 2 year old to sit completely still for an eye scan, and they didnt even have machinery to fit her face. So her father & I had to hold her still for over 10 minutes at 3 different scanning stations, and they did not get any useful scans. The technician kept telling a 2 year old to look a little left, look a little down, oh perfect... and then the tech would move the table or move the scanner & never take the scan... they did try very hard to get the scans, but just didnt seem prepared for the task of working with a 2 year old on that process.After being unable to get usable scans of both eyes, the doctor told us to just watch her for 6 months & see what happened... Her eyes are already crossing, we still arent sure what else exactly he was wanting us to watch for?He offered to have us come back as part of the same appointment and try again on the scans the next day but that just seemed like an effort in futility after round 1 through 3 of failure to scan.After we decided not to come back and go to a pediatric othamologist instead Dr Tran did call to ask if we needed a referral or anything else. They are nice people, and I do not doubt that they are awesome with older clientele, though significantly more expensive than any other optometrist weve seen. But they should not be accepting toddlers for patients. It would have been better if when we called and asked if they could work with a 2 year old they had told us they dont really have equipment or experience with that young of a patient.

I felt like Family!!! They not only have the latest equipment for non contact service, but the Dr and staff were precise and treated me for an eye infection that another clinic noticed and ignored. They prescribe me medication vs giving me a coupon. They explain all procedures. We laughed talked and I was in & out in a timely manner. I didnt want to leave though I enjoyed my visit that much!!! They accept Medicare as well

I had an eye exam done here, they didnt have any frame that interest me so I had my prescription filled where the suitable frame was found. However, when the glasses came back the prescription was off. At first, I thought my eyes just needed to get adjusted to them, but that wasnt the case, my old glasses vision was a lot better.UPDATE: I discovered my issues with this business was purely miscommunication between myself and employee. For that, I apologize as well. Thanks for giving me clarity in your response 👍🏾😀

Marcus, the technician, was awesome. Super clean and quick process, they do a great job at making sure everything is sanitized and limiting the amount of people within the office. Plus a got a great pair of glasses in within my price point.

As usual, exceptional service provided by the team today! I felt very safe and comfortable in the office. Everyone wore masks and frequent hand sanitizing was observed. I was immediately escorted to a room after my temperature was taken at the front door. All equipment was cleaned in front of me prior to use. I highly recommend Dr. Tran, Dr. Le and the team at CustomEyes for any optometry needs!

Had concerns about eye exam during Covid19. But this location is so clean and all necessary precautions were taken from the time you enter at the door and sanitized wipe downs per station change. Great customer service from Marcus, I felt save through out thanks Dr. Tran👍.

The last time I came (pre-COVID) the staff were friendly and the doctor was too for the most part. There were a couple of things they could improve, though. One was they kept having trouble with their equipment, I was moved back and forth and back and forth from my room and to the machine because it kept shutting off. Different staff kept coming into my room to ask me questions, seems like they weren’t communicating with each other properly. Then the doctor was in my room for like 5-6 mins at the most. All I all, I was there in the office for almost 2 hours due to the equipment not working properly. Just a bit of inconvenience..

Talk about impeccable service and cleanliness! I’ve been a customer of CustomEyes for years and their response to the pandemic really pushed me to do a review. Not only were they able to get me in last minute, they cleaned and sanitized any and everything we came in contact with! As a someone who works in the healthcare field, smallMoments like this make a big difference. Temperature checks before I even came back, available hand sanitizer at every station, and everyone made sure I as the patient was able to see them clean, including the chairs. Trent and Marcus definitely need some type of recognition because they took care of me from start to finish. The level of professionalism and care is hard to find these days so I will definitely be back!

This was my second visit with CustomEyes but my first visit at their new location (August 2019).Wow!! While their new location is at an “older” looking shopping complex, don’t let that fool you.Inside it is very spacious, very clean, well maintained and bright/inviting.The customer service was phenomenal. They offer you drinks or snacks throughout your visit, plenty of seating, a little children’s area and good selection of magazines (but I didn’t have to wait long). I got India, Alexis and Cynthia that helped with my process/testing. Even though they had multiple patients to see, they flowed through everyone where your care was thorough and it never felt rushed/ingenuine. What made me feel good is how they consistently washed their hands and wiped down equipment.Both the doctors, Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen are thorough, very friendly, and have great bedside manner.I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I was apprehensive about keeping my appointment, given the current state of the world in terms of covid 19. Upon walking in I was asked screening questions and had my temperature taken. There was low to no persons inside. Instruments and chairs were being thoroughly cleaned. Doctors and techs thorough and friendly. I’m glad I kept my appointment.

I just want to say that my visit here was so GRAND!!!!! This is my second year coming to get my annual eye exam and the customer service ALL AROUND has not changed. I had an appointment that was made the year before and I received emails and a call to remind me. I wanted to change the time and they were able to accommodate that request at the last minute. I arrived for the 7:30am slot (they open at 7:30am on Fridays) and I was let in a few minutes before because it was 34 degrees outside. The office was warm and inviting per usual and I waited about 5 minutes and my tech for the day (ALEX) came right out to assist me. He was up beat, for it to be so early. After the assessment, pictures, and test we go back to the front were the final details are given. Alex steps away for a few moments and before I could realize it, He gathered up the other staff and they came out the back with a blueberry muffin with a #7 candle (my bday date) singing happy birthday!!! I could have cried, this level of customer service is beyond OUTSTANDING! They really care about their patients. Thank you again CustomEyes Vision, Dr. Tran you and your staff are wonderful.

I had an awesome experience at Custom Eyes!! The staff were all very nice. They offered me drinks and snacks while I waited and they even have a VIP room with a massage chair for customers who have been waiting a while. I have never seen such great customer care at an optometry office. The doctor was very nice and professional. He answered all of my vision questions. I was in and out of there in no time, but I didnt feel like I was being rushed out. I will definitely be back!! :)

This is the first time Ive ever enjoyed going to the eye doctor. His assistant Shade was very pleasant and she explained everything that was about to be done which made me feel very comfortable. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions I had. Dr. Tran was very personable and accommodating. He showed a genuine concern for my best interests. He made me feel at ease when explaining my test results. Overall, if going to the dentist was as pleasant and calming as going to Dr. Trans office, then more people would go to the dentist! Lol! I usually dont get eye exams every year but I am looking forward to my visit next year.

I have been going to Dr.Tran and this facility since the early 2000s. I live in the mesquite area and make the drive to cedar hill every year to see them. Dr. Tran is the best optometrist he will do what is best for your health and not just what you want. He kept me out of contacts until my eyes were healthy enough for them. He explained why and walked me through our long term plan to get me back into contacts. Olivia was the best sales representative I had ever met when I started going now manages the office and her passion shows in every thing. Happy employees always equals happy customers!
