Very helpful staff. We were able to purchase a dishwasher. Products are in short supply now and they went out of their way to make sure we got the dishwasher we wanted.

We made a full circle around the show room with plenty of staff around, no one even made eye contact with us. No prices or any information about the appliances displayed. Some were marked with peoples names, impossible to determine what that meant. We were looking for a dishwasher. There were only 4 tucked away in a corner. I am sure we looked lost, yet still no one offered to help us. We will not be returning.

My mother purchased a new washer and it worked for about a week. She has now spent 3 weeks waiting for return calls, coordination, etc. Then after the 3 week timeframe they say that part was damaged and she;; have to wait another week and a half. No offer to expedite shipping etc. When I call to speak with someone the phone just rings, goes to voicemail, and then you get the message that the voicemail is full.We have bought several times from here for various properties. So when my mother wanted a new washer you had her purchase it here. Support local business, etc.Well for their moto of servicing what they sell There isnt much service, and you cant simply call and get a hold of a person.If youre thinking of supporting local, I would encourage you to support a different business.

Update -- they did eventually make this right. However, I had to push for updates/progress at every turn. Now that we have a working appliance, Im happy with how the unit is performing. I suspect my bad experience had a lot to do with their slow recovery from the derecho. That being said, I doubt I will return as the resolution took far too long...Terrible experience! Dishwasher broke 3 weeks after purchase. It took over a month the get the repair scheduled with me continuously prompting. Will not do business with them again. --

Awesome company. Got a washer and dryer from them recently. Had an issue with the dryer and they fixed it immediately. Prices were really good too. I will be getting my appliances though them because they are that good.

Well it has been over 3 months since I stopped at your store to ask why things are freezing in my side by side. I was told it was a difuser and they would order the part. Well after a month I stopped by to see if they forgot about me. Nope, due to a special in July parts were late. They would contact me when it arrived. Well 3 months later no call from Home Appliance. I have been buying from them in the 70s. Im in hopes they will see this and finally fix my 5 year old refrigerator.

The salesman was very nice and helpful! But when we went the set up for the delivery, the boss (I assume) told hime to schedule our delivery for the afternoon when there were two spots open in the morning. We said that would work better for us. And it made more sense for them to come to our house in the morning because they had 2 deliveries in Marion before that and we live just north of there. Instead of going to Marion, Center Point at 1:00 then back to our house. When our salesman said that doesnt work fir them. The boss, maybe the owner replied very mean voice, I SAID THERE! (Pointing at 1:30 or 2:00 in the afternoon) Then he said THEN DO IT THE NEXT DAY! He was VERY RUDE! And even though the salesman was very nice. We walked out. They have lost this customer for ever. I would give him 0 stars if I could.

Always purchase my appliances from Home Appliance Center. Good prices. Dont try to over sell you. Delivery, set-up, dispose of old appliance and are available with any problems you might have.

I will buy all my appliances at Home Appliance -- Craig and crew went above and beyond for us. Delivery, install, and amazing follow thru when we had an issue with our freezer. Craig was insanely patient while I took weeks to make a decision. Dont waste your time and $$ not buying local from someone that cares about his customers and has a personal relationship with him. Great local business that delivers on promise.

They know their products super well. We bought our oven, dishwasher, cooktop and refrigerator from them 4 years ago. I had researched appliances online and in Consumer Reports and it was all very confusing. Craig helped boil it down to the essentials and made very clear and insightful recommendations. Four years later, we are thrilled with all of them. The ice maker and the dishwasher had minor issues and they fixed them right away and most of it was without charge. Their service people are kind and careful and knowledgeable. I trust them completely. And we got a better price on the appliances than were advertised on sale at a big box store!

Unsurpassed customer service! Our 19 year old Kitchenaid refrigerator was not defrosting properly. Instead of trying to sell us a new refrigerator they suggested repairing ours. They even told me what the problem was and how I could fix it myself. You wont get that from a big box store!

I walked in the store ready to buy a washer and dryer. No one greeted me so I walked around the store. A man was sitting behind the counter eating and told me that someone would be right with me. So I made another lap around the store and the same man was now on the phone but no one had come to greet me. in fact the two other men that were there who were not talking to customers did not even acknowledge me. So I left. I thought maybe I would get better service if I called them on the phone but there was no answer.I went to Sears against what other people have told me and was surprisingly satisfied with my purchase. The three employees there all came up to me and offered help. Two of them turned it over to the other and he was very knowledgeable professional and helpful.

Not only is Home Appliance competitive with the box stores prices, they are awesome to work with. Im a DIYer but sometimes need some advice on diagnosing the problem. Craig & Steve are the Click & Clack of the appliance business. There isnt anything they cant fix or, even better, tell YOU how to fix. They will show you how to fix it, print out a diagram and sell you the needed parts. If its a brand they dont have, they will tell you where to get it. Theyll even tell you where to get a used appliance if youre not looking for a new one. The only place you need to go for major appliances.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have always bought appliances at Sears so was looking for a dependable place with sales and service. I went in on October 24th and picked out a washer and dryer. I was told the delivery person was out but would call me that day to set up delivery. No call that day. I waited several days and called again. Was told someone would call me back. No call. I waited 2 wks and thought maybe they had my phone number wrong. I called again and was told someone would call back. I said no, that I wanted to set up delivery because no one had returned my calls. So delivery was set for today Nov 30 between 09 and 1000. We rearranged schedules so that it would work. They didnt show. I called and the person answered offered no apologies or attempts to remedy the situation. Just a rude Im just one person working here. I wasnt even on the delivery schedule. But someone would call me back. If Im purchasing something and being treated this way I can only imagine getting them to make a service call. I said no one need call me back. But guess what? The ONLY time anyone returned a call was when Id finally had enough and cancelled the order. She left me a message. I didnt bother calling back. Horrible horrible experience.

We were leaving on vacation and the day before our dryer broke, my wife was totally distraught and had wet clothes that needed to be dried before we left. i called around to our local appliance stores and they offered little help but then we called Home appliance center and the parts guy was awesome! He stayed a little late to help us get the part we needed to get our dryer fixed that night! These guys will be my 1st call from here on out and thanks again for all your help!

My new Condo came with a refrigerator from them 4 years ago. The freezer is no longer keeping stuff frozen and the refrigerator not keeping stuff cold. Called them to have them come take a look because their phone answering machine says service what we sell well that is BS. They would not even come to take a look at my frig. Told me to buy a new one. Should not have to buy a new frig after 4 years. Will never do business with these guys and will never buy another Whirlpool appliance
