I live in Utah and Im going to be in town during the Christmas holidays and need to weld up some stuff at my dads house. I called to get their hours during the holidays and price of angle iron and some sheet metal to see if I should bring my own or if I can buy there for a reasonable price. A nice guy answers the phone but he wouldnt give me a quick price until he asked me some questions first. He asked how I found them - I get it, so they know where their marketing money works the best. I again asked the price but he said he needs my first name before giving a price, so I give it to him. II again, asked the price. He said he cant give me a price until he gets more information from me. He wants to verify the spelling of my first name. So I verify and again ask for the price. Then he asks for my last name. I just needed a price. I told the guy I just needed a price and he wont give me a price until he gets this personal information from me. So, at that point, I decided Ill either buy from a competitor or bring my own from Utah. Too bad I couldnt get a simple price. Could have been a 2 minute call and a customer.

Great service and a very reasonable price

Ordered two large steel beams for a house remodel project in Iowa City. Daniel was very helpful in getting me exactly the beams I needed, cut to precision length, along with some alignment holes as well. Delivery was fast (about 1 week) and the driver even helped us unload them on to rollers in the garage. Another vendor told me they couldnt deliver to a residence. I was glad to have found Metal Supermarkets!Great service!

I was having a hell of a time making a ZIP line for my kids. I needed a 17’ long piece of metal, and it had to be strong. I called Metal Supermarkets on a Saturday afternoon, I thought I’d leave a message and get a call back Monday. To my amazement, Rick answered the phone at 3:00 on a Saturday. Wow! Rick helped me decide what shape and size to choose from, he was patient with all my questions, and I felt he Genuinely cared about my project. As our conversation continued I found out Rick was at home taking calls. I asked if delivery was an option and Rick said “I’ll have it to you by 5:00”. Yes he was talking about today! Saturday! THIS GUY RICK, WENT TO THESHOP ON SATURDAY AND DELIVERED ME A 17’ PIECE OF METAL, TO MY HOUSE.The whole experience was unbelievable. Way past my expectations. This is the place to buy metal!The kids love the zip line and Metal Supermarkets made it happen.

Went to Metal Supermarkets the other day, they have a great selection of metal, I bought two steel targets made out of 1/4 inch abrasion resistant steel as gifts for my brother and a friend of mine, affordable pricing, and great service. They even offered me a free pop, a calendar, some stickers.

Just this morning they had popped up in my news feed that a Metal Supermarket was opening here in town. Later in the day I needed a smaller piece of metal to complete a project . So I just ran by there to see what they had. They had exactly what I needed and cut it to the size I needed. Everyone was super friendly and Rick showed me and explained several of the different materials they had in stock. Definitely going to be a huge asset for fabricators or DIY folks. Im looking forward to going back for some future projects.
