Absolutely loved their meat. Best meat weve bought in a while. Fresh hamburger!! However we bought fruit from them last night. I cant say how disappointed I was, Absolutely disgusting. The strawberries had mold on 80% of them, we cut into the watermelon last night and it was completely rotten in the middle, smell and soggy. We called to inform them and they wanted me to dig it out of trash can and bring it back with receipt. I will eat the 2.99 because it was horrible and not worth the headache. But just a heads up for future purchases. Picture below was strawberries bought last night then directly put in fridge after purchase

Always have gotten the most fresh meat and produce here. A lot of the baked food from here is fantastic. Im a big fan of their moster cookies.

Chief Supermarket is a small local store. They have a very good produce department. Lots of made in store bakery items. Many deli items made in house, local meats, home made sausage selection is awesome. Big variety of craft beers. Shop the perimeter awesome, interior they have what you need but the prices are higher than chain stores.

This is all around a great store. They have really great free samples. If your kids are good then they might get free cookies from the cash register person. Important tip, there are bathrooms. If you go to the left of the north cold section, then go down the hallway, you will find the bathrooms.

Still occasionally out of specific niche items I cook with, but for the most part they are well stocked, friendly, helpful, and willing to share cooking ideas if you ask.

Chief has a great meat department, and the produce department is well stocked and fresh. They dont have as big of a selection as Walmart, but they make up for it in service and friendliness.

WOW. Today Chief Supermarkets have not only lost the business of me but of my family and friends as well. Went to go get some groceries tonight at 11:30 p.m and there was a Marshallese family in there shopping. As I was in line waiting to check out they were in front. The workers decided to disinfect everything, wipe down the conveyor belt, the shield, and they even sprayed the credit card pad. Not only did they not wait but they even proceeded to spray in front of them and I’m pretty sure got some on the lady and her family. Now disinfecting everything is awesome especially during times right now, but the problem was they only did it for the Marshallese family and no one else. Everyone else in that line was white. The lady in front of me asked if something got spilled and the cashier working said it was because she just got done cleaning it from the Marshallese family. A very friendly hometown market. I am originally from Celina, and everytime I return I always stop here to pick up those items you can only get in Northwest Ohio. The store is well kept and clean, and the deli is fresh and very helpful. Call it nostalgia, but shopping ay Chief is one of the little things that make me feel like Im back home.

Cheif has good meats and when they go on sell, they really go on sell! Cherry turnovers are addictive. The place is clean and never overcrowded. They always have enough registers open.

I love going to Chief. Especially when they have BOGO. their fruit is very nice.

This place is hit and miss as far as service. Ive been in and out in 10 minutes and Ive also been stuck in line for ridiculous amounts of time. Its open 24 hours which is great. The produce is usually fresh with a wide selection. They also have a great bakery. This place is probably best known for its in store butchers and fresh meats. We always buy our meats here because of the freshness and hand cuts.

, it is a friendly environment great people a little pricey but its worth it Above was my review from 2 years ago since then the quality of their food has gone downhill. Their produce is half rotten and is overpriced. I have gotten food poisoning from their lettuce. I would rather spend my money at the ruler store because I know Im getting what I pay for. Chiefs grows local produce but its garbage. This is why I am now giving you a 2 star review instead of a 5 star.

This store has nice employees and it doesnt usually take long in line. The only bad thing is you have to check the produce before buying any because lots of times there is mold.

Great local super market. They have friendly service and you can be in and out quickly. Way better experience than places like WalMart that are HUGE. Places like WalMart, you have to walk a mile to get from your car to the store, then walk another mile to get what you need! Places like chief, it is big enough to have what you need, but small enough that you dont spend an hour getting everything. The reason why I gave 4 stars not 5, is because their meats are lacking. NOTE: I am sort of a foodie and this is me being picky. Their steaks are not super great. They are good for a normal grocery store or are comparable to even those you would find at WalMart, but I think a local grocery store should go all out and sell either Certified Angus Beef, or USDA Prime Beef!! Yes, it would be more expensive, but the quality difference would be well worth the extra cost. AND there are currently no high quality steak sellers in this area so they would have complete control of the market for high end steaks...Anyways, be sure to check them out sometime!!

Nice stores but high in price. Sometimes meat sales are good and competive. A lot of times there sale items are only good with $30 minuman purchase wher other stores do not have these rules! Why bother with that hassel..
