Awesome shop. Staff was friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. I gave a description of how I was going to use a new bike and their staff pointed me in the right direction, answered my questions, set a bike up for a test ride, acknowledged my feedback, and when I bought the bike that I figured was best for me, they helped me set it up with pedals and accessories. They were just as excited as I was, and I felt no pressure at all! Definitely supporting this LBS with my business and recommending to others!

My 4th bike from Alpha and I could not be more satisfied. Purchased two mountain bikes and two gravel. My last Gravel bike is a All-City Cosmic Stallion Force 1 and I have to say I was originally going to buy just the frame and fork to build but after some convincing from Adam the owner I bought the Cosmic Stallion and I could not be happier. It truly is the best riding, best handling bike I have ever ridden. Service has been impeccable, even setting up all the bikes tubeless, they never charged me. Bought another bike from another bike store and they charged me $80.00. That is the last time I buy a bike from another bike store.

Steve worked on my bike specifically, but the whole team here is awesome and clearly loves what they are doing. As we all know, mountain bikes are incredibly expensive so I bought a used one two years ago that had quite a few issues. I brought it in and they not only got it setup ahead of schedule to help me get to Moab a bit faster, but they also took the time to explain everything they did, what to watch out for, and how to properly maintain it going forward! Thank you so much Steve and team!

Walked in and was interested in taking a bike out for a demo. Spoke to Dave about options. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I told him that I was not going to buy a bike, but he still treated me as if I was, and to me that says a lot about his professionalism. I work for a well known investment firm. Our goal is to treat every client the same regardless if they have if they have over 100 million or just a few thousand with the firm. Thanks Dave for give great customer service!

Went in to pick up a spare tube. I had some trouble with some my chain skipping which I was working on at home the night before so I just asked some questions about setting the limits and tension. He said he didnt mind taking a look at it. He put it on the stand for no more than 5 minutes and then proceeded to charge me $20 for the service when I was just asking for advice as I do a lot of my own work on my bike. So the labor rate here is about $240/hr.Edit: This platform does not have the ability to respond to replies. I am very conscious about supporting my local bike shop when I can. They offer a valuable service that can not be overlooked. But, I prefer to do a lot of my own work on my bike myself. When I came in just for a tube I simply had a quick question about how I could more precisely dial in my rear derailleur. I was searching for a verbal response. But when he offered to take a look at it because it wasnt as busy at the time I was thinking he would just throw it on the stand give me a quick verbal tip and I could be on my way. If he offered up front that well this could use a derailleur adjustment for $20 then I would have been inclined to pay or take it home to tinker more. It was not the length of time to perform a service and I was not requesting that work be done for free.

This business tried to steal $4500 from me.I came in to order a $7500 mountain bike (which was being sold at $500 over MSRP). I placed a deposit down for 60% of the cost of the bike. That night I decided that I should demo the bike before deciding to purchase it as I was in between sizes and did not receive a bike fit. The next day (under 24 hours since I originally went to the store) I called to tell them that I wanted to wait until I had a chance to demo the bikes before ordering. I was told that they do not refund deposits. I was never told that the deposit was non-refundable at any point prior to this phone call. The receipt did not mention this either. After talking with the employee for a bit longer he said he would speak to the owner.I received a call a bit later explaining to me that I would get my refund minus a $250 credit card processing fee. Canceling a processing charge does not cause any type of fee for a company. It is also illegal to charge credit card surcharges in Colorado. I will be reporting this to local officials. The bike I was interested in is one of the hottest bikes on the market and incredibly difficult to get ahold of. They would have no trouble selling this bike to another person.I had planned on coming back as soon as I figured out what size I needed. I had also planned on buying my girlfriend a $3000 mountain bike as well. This $250 credit card processing fee, terrible policy, and sleazy business practices has lost you over $10000 in sales.I will be taking my business to a shop that cares about their customers and does not price gouge popular products during a pandemic. If youre looking for an Ibis the following dealers in the area sell at MSRP and have cancellation policies on their bike orders:Base Camp CycleryPedal Pushers CycleryFull Cycle

Went in to this shop because I saw they had an Ibis Ripmo AF for sale which has been a huge pain to find. Went in with the intention of buying that bike and after talking to their super knowledgeable staff, I walked out with a Kona Process and couldn’t be more pumped. I told the guys what type of riding I’m in to and they made sure I found the right bike for me (and it saved me about 700 bucks. Added bonus). I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Very good experience. I purchased a bike at a garage sale for $4. Not suggesting this is a great idea but I have several bikes but I did not necessarily like to ride them. This was an old specialized crossroads XP. The frame is rigid, handle shift 21 speed, light weight 15lbs, from 1994. Condition was OK, was not in riding condition when I got it. Front rim was cracked, tires were original, tubes old, brakes pad were toast. I got it barely rideable to test it out before I took it in. The size was comfortable. Cost of repairs ...$230+. Very reasonable. I have been riding it and it’s awesome! The repairs were definitely worth it. And if I really get into riding, I might even buy a new bike!

After my last bike was stolen, I was in the market for a new bike. Theres an abundance of bike shops in Denver, so I was a bit overwhelmed in my efforts to choose one to shop at. I finally picked Alpha Bicycle Company because it had such rave reviews which mentioned good bikes, great and helpful people, and a non-snobby passion for bikes. The reviews were right! When I got to the shop, Kyle and Adam greeted me immediately and were very nice. Kyle talked to me about my needs, and helped me figure out exactly what I was looking for. I was torn between a touring build, or a more traditional cross bike. Kyle took the time to talk to me to 15 minutes, figuring out exactly what I wanted in a bike. We went on a few test rides, and found the bike of my dreams: a Salsa Vaya.Kyle then helped me set it up to my liking, with some nice touring pedals and a tire swap. He was really patient and helpful in explaining the pros and cons of each configuration, and I left the shop super stoked with my bike and really happy! Before I left, Kyle and Adam even offered me a beer, so we kicked back and relaxed before my ride home.I went back the next day to get my cleats fitted, and Im very pleased with the fit I got. Yet again, Kyle was stellar, and the experience was positive.I seriously cant rave about Alpha enough! They got me exactly what I needed, all while providing great vibes and excellent customer service. Make these guys your local bike shop, and you wont regret it!

These guys are the best, hands down!I thought that I could save some $$ and buy an online retailer (name undeserving of recognition) gravel bike. The bike was specd well, even brought it into the shop to show the guys and discuss going tubeless - all of which was a great experience. Both Adam & Steve thought that I had gotten a pretty sweet deal and aside from the bike being manufactured by a potato (cables crossed), the bike was treating me well in the first 2 weeks ~250 miles.JYNX! Broke the fork on a non-technical singletrack and had them take a look. I wanted to look at both options: Manufacturer replacement and upgrade and they were definitely helpful in helping me weigh the decision and not forceful with any type of sales motion to go with the upgrade. I decided to go with the upgrade, but also wanted to give the manufacturer a call to see how I can get a replacement part that failed within the warranty period. That manufacturer has yet to get back to me about standing behind the product they sold, so an early upgrade is exactly what I went with. I will still take necessary action with the manufacturer for indemnification.Point of this backstory is the guys in the shop never pressured me into going with the upgrade and although the process of getting the new fork on has been rocky, as the wrong size thru axle was ordered and shipping times are on the COVID time schedule, these guys have communicated the whole process with me and have kept me in the loop and the manufacturer of my bike has yet to respond to my warranty claim 7 days later.Needless to say, these guys are the reason Ill be able to get back to pedaling and enjoying social distancing on some of my favorite trails. Theres a lot of lessons we can learn in these times, one of which is SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BIZ!! They are the real glue in the community.

Ill for sure bring my business here instead of the larger chain stores. They are tucked inside a small commercial building with a small parking lot, but there is more space on the side street and behind the building if need be. Ive brought my bike here several times and the service was great. But today... Today was unreal, horrible customer service.First, I called ahead and was told there was little to no wait. I arrived and it was true - only one guy ahead. I brought in my bike for sealant and to inflate the tires - super easy. I was told 5 minutes tops. After waiting 15 minutes in the shop, I told them I was going up the street and would be back in 10 minutes. I was told the bike would be ready for sure. I ended up returning after over an hour because of construction on Arapahoe... My bike was not done. Now all of this would be forgivable, until the manager told me they got busy. Wait, but I was here first? Oh sorry, I wont charge for labor.1.5 hours for a 5 minute job. I was even told it would be a five minute job by that same manager. I will never return.

Im always pleased with the service and advice. They are professionals that take their job seriously.Update from August 2020: They just are way too busy because of COVID. Everyone is getting back into biking and their service is strained because of it.Understandably wait times for service are long, but they didn’t even do everything I asked on my bike. They didn’t look at my bike until the day before it was scheduled to be picked up and then called and told me my wheel was wasted. Another few days to get the parts and then I get the bike back and the brakes are mushy and the gears aren’t smooth. Fortunately they fixed the brake issue then, but I didn’t discover the gear issue until I got to a trail. Then I had to work on it myself. I expected more when I spent $1000 on work and a wheel set.
