It’s a no from me. One star for how nice the sales lady was on the floor. Bought 2 matching recliners from Southern Motion (USA made). Long wait time (ok, COVID, got it). Picked up chairs from warehouse…all went downhill from there. Warehouse didn’t know/enforce Morris’s pick up policy and then tried to place blame on me as the customer for damage. They said I should have signed a waiver or release form that described how I should have inspected the furniture before taking it home. There was no paperwork…for me or the folks in front of me in line. We just went to warehouse, a worker got our chairs (which were poorly packed for how expensive they were) and punched through the cardboard and pulled back enough to reveal the fabric. I confirmed that was what I ordered and was told I can take them. I get them home and both have quality control issues and one is so broke, it can’t be sat on. Called and wrote multiple times to customer service and their approach is “if we avoid you long enough, you will give up.” Totally unsatisfactory.

This was our first time and our last time ordering from Morris. It has been a year of horrible customer service and very poorly made furniture. Out of everything we have ordered (complete bedroom set,couch, loveseat and ottoman)....only the ottoman hasnt had an issue. I understand that delays happen but we waited 8 months for our furniture order (2.5 months longer than they had originally quoted) and when it finally was delivered there were huge rips in the furniture.They took it back to fix ( took several weeks when they told us 7 business days) and then came back.....still ripped. Still has not been fixed. I have gone in, called the store multiple times over the last month and still have never gotten a call back. The last person I spoke to said she couldnt give me a time frame kn when a manager could call me back because there were lots of service issues requiring resolvement- well judging with how my experience has been I would agree with that.

Bought a couch for $3,000 and had to have the fabric fixed because of a factory defect on 2 pieces within 6 months. They have no clue when the pieces will be in and never answer the phone at the store. Tired of waiting for repairs corporate is useless tired of dealing with the service. Dont expect returns after a big 3 days so we cant return it. Last time we ever shop there telling everyone I know about their terrible customer service

Great customer service from Lori with our new bed purchase. There was an initial problem with the delivery date, but the Store Manager (Carolyn) went above and beyond to get us taken care of. The delivery drivers were great as well. Would highly recommend Morris on Wilmington Pike!

Purchased 2 sectional sofas and a dining set. Paid 199.00 delivery and setup fee.. Day of delivery the delivery team shattered my front storm door in an attempt to get sofa in the house, they told me to call customer service so I replaced door, called customer service and sent my receipt and pics of shattered door that same day, I was told claim would take 7 days, called again told 14 days, called so many times and was told 30 days, called AFTER 30 days and was told that they were going back and forth with the company who pays for the delivery team home damage claims because they didnt want to pay it stating Morris customer service rep didnt submit claim on time. Meanwhile the sofa that was also damaged during delivery is still sitting in my home damaged, they couldnt get damaged sofa out of my house and I didnt want more damage to my home just like my glass door so the rep told me they would send a company called SAW out to repair it, well the SAW rep said it would be 5 hours of work Morris can just replace it and left, We would pick a different sectional if the delivery team can get the damaged one out without damaging my home, so a new delivery team came out said they would do more damage to home and furniture if they tried to take it back out so I called Morris back they said they will order the parts and get someone else out to repair it. Morris then said they will pay me out of their own pockets for the shattered door since they lost the battle with the delivery company they use to pay for it so they sent me a refund form to sign, I signed the form and sent it back expecting a check only for them to now say we will pay you once the sectional is repaired which has been damaged waiting on parts for 2 months now!!!!! I canceled my other furniture order because No way I can do business with Morris again! Morris needs to reimburse me for the door and if its gonna be 6 months before they get parts to repair the sectional they damaged reimburse me and take the sectional back because Im over it. I filed a complaint with the BBB today as well. Customer service is a 2 hour wait and no help. Rep told me no manager is ever available

Horrible customer support and horrible company! You will wait hours on the phone, and then years, and well ...we are still waiting to get them to fix a $10k sectional we bought. We have called multiple times, we have gone to the store, we even have a warranty and when we eventually get a hold of them they say they are working on it...well it has almost been 2 years now and nothing. Dont buy from Morris, they dont respect the customer, they dont believe in thier own products, and they dont fulfill thier promises.

No person should ever spend their hard-earned money with this company.  After delivering the wrong furniture 3 times not one associate I Interacted with made a legitimate effort to rectify the problem. I got excuses about inaccurate SKUs, other incompetent employees, along with broken promises of accuracy and expeditiousness. They did however give me an email address to complain to after several 1 hour or better hold times with customer service. If you wish to be treated as a valued customer do not go here. I do not believe they understand what that means.

Purchased a new living room set less than a year ago. Purchased their warranty that only covers cleaning a moving parts. The set I have has no moving parts and would be way cheaper just have cleaned my self (sold under a different impression). The main issue is after less than six months its all falling apart. The seams are coming undone and the boards on the inside are broken, all of the material is just sagging and looks abused. I tried calling warranty place, not covered but they have told me to call the store direct. After trying for 6 months I give up. My husband and my self and not concerningly large people and work 60+ hours a week and have no children. This is not normal wear and tear we do not use it enough. . We choose Morris because of the reputation. Huge mistake

Really happy with our experience here. We were moving my wifes elderly mom and her bed frame broke we just needed a bed frame for a single mattress. So just a minor purchase but our salesperson, Lisa Boepple, was very nice and did checking of the most convenient way for us to pick up the frame. Its pleasant to be treated so well for even a small purchase. Great place!

Great store and a much better selection then other stores in the area like Ashley. This furniture store is based by opinion so I love it, but others might not. The staff was helpful when looking for answers on products. The only downside is that they are local only! They deliver a and assemble if need be at a small charge unless there is a deal going on.

Terrible customer service.. Bought a couch a year ago and Im still having issues with them replacing it because of a broken part. Theyve been out numerous times and Ive had numerous conversations with them and they just give me the run around. They make you jump threw hoops just to get anything accomplished. I will never shop her again. They use 3rd party delivery services and theyre terrible. I still cant believe how bad their customer service is

Had an unfortunate experience here recently. My 83 year old grandmother purchased a new TV console here. The delivery people were very rude to her and left the TV console box in the middle of her living room on the wrong side. It was blocking her TV so she had to push it over herself. This is distressing to me as I live out of state and could not help her with this. I wish they could’ve been more considerate to an elderly woman living alone.

Do NOT fall for the “vote free furniture” scam. They had this the last election. We bought furniture (which we were going to do regardless of the promotion), and then were very excited when the results of the election matched not only what we had been told by a manager, but also what the rules of the promotion stated. “Shockingly” Morris found a way to bend and twist some words to get out of following the terms of their own promotion. That was the last time we purchased furniture from Morris (after 14 years of furniture purchases). If you want good furniture at a fair price then try Francis Furniture in Troy. Morris will absolutely rip you off.

Even a 1 star review is too high.I bought a kitchen table from the Morris in Dayton (now closed).I purchased the tremont farmhouse kitchen table and have been having an ongoing issue with plates, bowls, burritos in wrappers from Taco Bell, etc. leaving white marks on my table top. According to their customer care team and supervisor, this is not an issue covered by a manufacturer warranty because it is heat transference. What I’m having a hard time understanding is this is a KITCHEN TABLE- and why was it not made to withstand normal food temperatures. It’s not like I am sitting a pot directly from the stove to table- it is normal eating temperatures that are discoloring my table.Also, pop cups ( the temperature is cold) are also circling my table top.For the amount of money I paid for this kitchen table- it should be able to withstand normal temperatures of food.Don’t waste your time or money with this company. They are only worried about a sale.

We ordered over 8,000 worth of furniture during their Presidential Voters Sale in November. The paperwork say 8-10 weeks delivery. After calling several times and a trip to the store after waiting over 3 months we had enough of the run around. They would promise to call back and would not be transparent over the phone about when our order would be there. I called one day to inquire she pulled up my order number and then gave me the run around by telling me I have to wait for my salesman to call me and explain the push back! I asked her how long of a push back, she refused to say and was insistent on me waiting to hear from my salesmen. I asked to speak to a manger she said she was unavailable! I insisted on her give me the information in front of her on the computer but she refused to give me anymore details and said my salesman would call that evening in a rude tone! I told her it didn’t matter because I’d like our money back!We never heard from him! I went on line to look our order up and my furniture is scheduled to get to the store sometime in the middle of April!!We finally get a call from the Manager at The Wilmington store who informs my husband we signed a contract that states we can’t have our money back! We informed her the contract said 8-10 weeks not 5 months so that contract is null and void! She told us it was because Covid, we told her if she couldn’t deliver we should not have to be without a bedroom set any longer! I called around and found out Morris sold the furniture to us and the company that makes this furniture was sold out nationwide until the end of April! (How will Morris’s get it to us in April???) We are going into the store to find out more information and who we can talk to above her to get some satisfaction and hopefully our money back! Prices are inflated as well! We will not spend our money here again! I have been a customer in the past and have never had such terrible service managers and associates with poor customer service skills! Morris Furniture is not the same Morris I once knew......skip Morris and make your furniture yourself faster!

Will never purchase from Morris ever again. This entire experience has been a nightmare, from start to finish. I am disgusted this place is still in business. We bought a bedroom set in November. It is now March 19 and the furniture is still not correct. Anytime you call customer service, you’re on hold at least 45 minutes and nothing gets fixed. Calling regional store results in people saying they’ll call you to follow up and then not actually doing it.

The worst furniture buying experience ever! From start to finish was a nightmare. On the day we purchased the furniture, the salesperson told her manager that we were her return customers. Total lie. Right in front of us. Then, I noticed that they had our address wrong in their system so I had them change it. I made sure that they did. I even asked to look at their computer screen. Everything looked good.On the day it was supposed to be delivered, no one showed up. I called Morris and found out they had the wrong address and phone number in their system. I told them that I had to take off work to be home for the delivery and I needed them to come that day. Well, no. They refused. They said that they only delivered in my area on Wednesday so I would have to wait another week AND take another day off of work. I asked to speak with their regional manager and they said I could. Its been a week and I havent received a call.So, that is when I got customer service involved. They messaged me and told me that they would look into it. What I got from that was a bunch of misinformation and mistakes. I was even told that my furniture had already been delivered! Not true!So, I took another day off of work and made many phone calls to make sure that there would be no mistakes. I shouldnt of have to do that.Finally my furniture arrived at my house. The delivery guy came in and said that they couldnt make the delivery because they didnt want to take the furniture down my steps. I told him that he could take it apart and do it that way. He totally refused. I had to sign a waiver stating that I wouldnt hold Morris liable if they damaged my house or furniture.This has been a terrible and ridiculous experience! I do not plan to ever buy anything from Morris again. They havent even offered to make things better. Nothing. If you buy furniture from them, you better hold their hand through the whole process.

We bought an entire house full of furniture from Morris on Wilmington Pike in Centerville, Ohio in 2001 after our house was destroyed by the September 2000 tornado and had a great experience. However the sleep shop is a terrible store with incompetent people and even worse customer service. We bought a mattress in November and was sold (a bill of goods probably) a sleep guarantee, where, if we also bought a mattress protector and pillow, and we didnt like the mattress after 30 days, we could reselect and, after having the mattress inspected, have the new one delivered. Well, lo and behold when its come time to actually take them up on this, weve received nothing but a runaround. We were told when we reselected that the mattress was in stock and wouldnt have to wait and there was about a $200 dollar difference for which theyd give us store credit. So 11 days after our 30 day guarantee and hearing nothing from anyone, we go over to the store to find out not only had our order supposedly been cancelled but that wed have to wait 48 hours for someone to call to schedule to inspect the mattress then another 2 weeks to get the mattress. FOUR days later Im calling their customer care line only to be placed on pergahold for 35 minutes until Im done listening to their muzak and my teacher plan period is over. I call the store the next day, asked to speak to a manager, and SHE puts me on hold, supposedly to schedule the mattress inspection only to wait 45 minutes and she never comes back on the line. I am so done having to drive over to get in peoples faces to make them supposedly do their job. If you arent going to honor this sleep guarantee, DONT OFFER IT!! DONT make people buy a mattress cover and pillow thats terrible. DONT make people call a customer care number that never picks up. Id give them zero stars if possible and I am willing to let the now $50 credit difference between what the mattresses cost go just to never have to deal with these people again.

Im very disappointed in Morris Home Furniture. We had bunk beds delivered today. We ordered them in late November and it was our choice to hold on the delivery d/t new flooring installation. The wrong dresser was delivered and a mattress was also missing. You would think with ordering in November, they would have had time to get it right. The delivery staff tracked snow and dirt all through the house (including the new flooring), and they did not have the correct tools for assembly. I had to run to Ace Hardware to get a tool that was needed. This is all unacceptable and Morris has lost a loyal customer. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Bought a very expensive set of bookshelves only to have them put together the wrong way in the street! Seriously! Very bad customer service. Not to mention in order to fix the bookcases MYSELF I had to create new holes because the ones the guys made were wrong. So now my expensive bookshelves are damaged underneath. A tiered bookcase so the smallest shelves go at the top and the larger shelves at the bottom. They even had letters on them to identify what goes where, how do you screw that up? So I paid to have them put it together WRONG but I had to take it all apart and fix it myself. Called customer service who are impossibly hard to reach and they said send pics so I did. This was months ago so I’m assuming they don’t care about their customers.

I went in to Morris knowing exactly what I was after. James G. made this process even easier than I expected it to be. He wasnt pushy or overbearing and he allowed us to discuss things amongst one another. He was there when we needed him though. I had one small issue after looking at my receipt but called Customer Service and they assured me it was an easy fix and they would take care of it promptly. We just picked up our purchase from the warehouse and I can not wait to get it home! I know he said this new customer service transition as we walked in was a newer process, but this process really worked for us and our personalities. Previously I despised walking in to your establishment because of the way we were followed around and how pushy everyone was. James went above and beyond to make this visit good. We appreciate the time he spent with us and his patience. I would definitely recommend family and friends to deal with him personally for their future purchases. The worst customer service, cant speak to the quality of product because after 4 months Im still waiting on delivery! Ordered recliners in March... products were finally available for delivery in July, and when they finally showed up it was the wrong chair. Cant get ahold of customer service without waiting an hour on the phone and their online service request form must not be monitored because Ive never heard back. At this point Id give zero stars if it were an option.Update: No surprise the response from the owner below got me nowhere. If you call the store, no one there can give you an accurate idea of whats going on with their warehouse/delivery schedules. So I messaged their customer care email as the owner response suggested and got no response. Ive since tried calling customer service 3 additional times at different times of the day, no matter what Im put on hold and Ive given up after a half hour of waiting each time. Tried the online customer care submission one last time, but again no response. Its worth mentioning we paid in full at the time of our order and it wasnt cheap. Dont buy anything from this company that isnt in stock at the time of purchase, theyll take your money and never deliver. Complaint filed with the BBB, seems they respond to those so maybe Ill finally hear from them.

Associate Crystal Howe E-Commerce Specialist Morris Furniture Company went above and beyond helping me to find an in-stock furniture suit for my son who is returning to Ohio from BGSU Air Force ROTC while I am 6 hours away in KY and unable to be in the stores. He is relocating to my sisters who upgraded her apartment to accommodate our sudden relocation. Under these unprecedented times, having someone to work with you and accommodate the craziness has been a life-saver. I would not recommend another company at this time and have been a loyal Morris shopper for a long time. Now if the white glove service goes well for my sister, as her neighbors’ service was said to be very unpleasant, I will be pleased .. if not, I will be updating this review and contacting management. Paying extra for white glove service, we expect this to be exactly that and will not settle for less. The reputation of Morris furniture will need to extend beyond service at the point of sale. Kudos and gratitude to Crystal cannot be expressed enough! She is the epitome of customer satisfaction!

Do not purchase from the Miamsburg store. My whole experience was terrible from start to finish. When I arrived at the store not one single white sales person greeted us that we walked past. They greeted the white people that followed in after us but not us. The only person that asked if we had been helped was an African american salesman, and from what I saw, he was there just for the people of color.We ordered our furniture, paid and awaited delivery. Delivery date comes, they deliver the wrong furniture and act like its my fault they put the wrong furniture on the truck. The store manager Anthony that I spoke with told me the issue is fixed, I can expect delivery Tuesday the 9th. I ask him about compensation for my time and having to spend hours on the phone to get this issue resolved, he said that its fixed so there is no issue. He also said he would speak to his staff about greeting everyone that walks in the door, regardless of race. Today, they again messed up my delivery order. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a furniture store.

With the purchase of a new home under my belt I brought my fiance to the Centerville Morris Home Furnishings store, where we we going to look at bedding, hopefully with the same salesman I had met and spoken with last Autumn.We never made it to the bedding section and instead became fixated upon the sofa (picture below) I had remembered seeing during my previous visit. It was firing on all cylinders for me then and seeing it again only punctuated the interest. So my fiance and I began looking round for some chairs to go with it. During this part of the journey we hooked up with Rich Germann, who was precisely the sort of salesperson I like: attentive, helpful, available when needed and otherwise left us alone to ponder decisions and look things over. Maybe I give off a vibe or perhaps hes just that sort of salesperson who knows most customers dont want to be hovered over, but helped when needed.Settled upon chairs, Rich was able to assure us that the chairs could be ordered in a different fabric (we didnt like the ones on display, but loved the form of the chairs themselves), but had in mind there was another one in the store in a different fabric. Turns out that one was perfect for our wants and needs (picture below). Again, Rich helped us when we needed, but never did he try to push, poke or prod us into purchasing anything we didnt want. This is the kind of salesperson who will garner future business from us.We returned two weekends later to finally look at bedding and while I hadnt remembered the salesmans name precisely (I was thinking Dave), Dick Jarrell was immediately recognizable. And so it was I relayed our previous meeting and laid out our intention for bedding.In this instance we needed some guidance. We had come into the store prepared to spend vast sums to get the perfect bed since I have no small issues with sleep. Where I needed assistance with the furniture, I needed outright advice on bedding, and Dick steered us well. He readily and concisely explained various issues related to a good mattress and had us try around five. But he was right when he told us the first one was, or so he thought, the most supportive and comfortable mattress they had in the store. And while pricey it wasnt the most expensive.Dick was polite, entertaining and helpful. He managed this process well and got us through the decision process with little fanfare. It was, if for different reasons, as enjoyable an experience as was our time two weeks prior with Rich Germann.If only we had need to buy a bed again sometime soon.Id also like to mention the two men who delivered the furniture and bedding. Having delivered furniture when I was much younger, I understand better than most the issues that come with furniture delivery. It is often a thankless task. I did not get their names, but they were polite, friendly and efficient at their tasks. They removed my old bedding (king-sized from second floor) by wrapping it in the discarded plastic from the new bedding and kindly placed the furniture just the way I wanted it. Morris should be certain to relay this favorable review to those gentlemen as well.

If I could do a negative star, I would. Ordered a couch and chair for my new apartment in plenty of time before I moved in. Sales associate assured there would be no problem. I noticed that the chair was not properly noted on my paperwork and when I called the store and talked to her, she said it was all fine...no need to worry. Ended up getting the couch back ordered after two missed deadlines but FINALLY came in September. Still no chair... Finally the chair was delivered in late October and it was the WRONG chair. After 1.5 hours on hold with customer service (this is the 4th time I have had the pleasure of waiting on hold on this issue) a very nice customer service person looked into it, apologized, said she corrected the issue and the correct chair would arrive in a week. For the third time I took off work waiting for the delivery and when the chair arrived, it was the same WRONG chair that had previously been sent! At this point, I gave up on even wanting the chair and when I called to cancel the order I left a message and was told I would be called back in one day...that was two weeks ago. THE WORST!! The customer service is pitiful. We bought a leather, electric sectional in April of 2019. Shortly after, we began having issues with one of the recliners. The frame was bent and it was causing the chair to catch and tear up the framework even more. We scheduled to have someone come out in January of 2020. They came out and assessed it. They said that they would order the parts to ship to our house, the parts would be here within 7-10 business days. A few weeks go by and we still do not have any parts. We call, and they tell us that they were unable to order the parts because they needed another number off of our chair. They never tried to contact us to get this number. Had I not called, we would have never heard anything. Now, it is the end of May. We still have not seen the parts, or heard anything from the company. It takes hours to try to get through to customer service. Our expensive couch is basically junk at this point because of how badly the bent frame has impacted the function of the chair. I will NEVER send anyone here, or recommend Morris to anyone. Run far away and find a company that will actually follow through with their customer service and warranties.

Don’t waste your money for poor customer service and lack of product. I paid in full for a sofa in July that got delivered in December. Don’t blame it on COVID, it’s lack of customer service and misleading business practices. Shop elsewhere, this is my first and last experience with these guys. I would have given them 1/2 a star!!!!

My sales person was awesome at helping me pick out different fabrics for my couch, chaise and 5 pillows. I could tell he loved his job. They kept me informed of when my furniture would come via emails and texts. Very convenient. The delivery process was awesome!! I was given an email with a 4 hour window and pictures of who the delivery people are and their names - great safety feature. The day of the delivery, I was updated often of their exact arrival narrowing down to a 30 minute window. When they were on their way to my place, I could track their truck in real time. GREAT service from beginning to end.

Great staff. And not pushy. I was bed shopping. I asked questions on low end to high end beds. The salesman I was with didnt press me to the expensive bed. After talking to him about what I want he said I wouldnt like them. He gave me pros and cons on the cheapest bed and the midrange bed and let me make up my mind. Not your typical sales staff, so helpful.

Spent a lot of money here as this was our go to place for furniture and bedding, but will never shop there again. Bought a rocker recliner 2 years ago that broke. Knowing it was a Lazy Boy, thought no problem. Took pictures of the broken mechanism, headed to the store and talked to the head of Customer Service. She told me that not only was my chair not under any warranty, it wasn’t a Lazy Boy. When I told her I specifically asked the Sales Person for a Lazy Boy, and that person took me to the Lazy Boy section of the store, the customer service rep said all the pieces weren’t Lazy Boy. By the way, Watch this place people, terrible service, and obviously don’t care about long term customers ($5000+ over the last 5 years)

DONT BUY FROM MORRIS.We ordered back in September, it has taken 15 weeks for the furniture to be delivered (“due to COVID”). We had a scheduled delivery for Monday and nobody showed up. It takes over 20 minutes for anyone to answer from customer service. I had to take off work Monday, to find out our couches weren’t even being delivered?!We have a delivery rescheduled for today, Thursday. They still have yet to show up and we have one hour left of the delivery window. We are going to have MAJOR issues if they don’t show up AGAIN.DONT BUY FROM MORRIS, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I purchased a new living room set and paid 6000 for it and I am not happy with the sofa. They sent out someone to look at it and said it was fine. It was just the cushions not forming correctly. They refuse to do anything about it! All I want is my sofa replaced, I’m not asking for a refund although at this point I would like one. Morris. I’m so disappointed in your customer service. I have been a customer for years but this does it for me. Iv called customer service and sent emails and no replies or callbacks.

Went in yesterday and met a sales associate who was not wearing a mask. No big deal but she had the nerve and hypocrisy to correct the way my wife was wearing her mask. She did it right in front of her manager who allowed her to disrespect us. Not only were we disrespected but they did little to help us find anything. We left and went to Lazy Boy by the Dayton Mall and spent $8k on a custom piece of furniture and the staff there bent over backwards to help us with what we needed. Bottom line dont shop at Morris...they are disrespectful and do little to help you find anything.

I will NOT be purchasing from Morris again. I have a bench under warranty that needs repaired due to faulty construction. I called the warranty issuers and someone was out within a week and sent the information to Morris. Fast forward 6 week later as I tried to follow up with my claim. I get ZERO response from customer service. At this point I have sent emails 4 times just merely asking for status of the full warranty that I purchased. I have called countless times, left several voicemails at the store and through customer service. The warranty agent assured me Morris has the piece and will be in touch. I have yet to hear from anyone and it’s been 3 months since it was assessed. I don’t mind waiting but the ignoring of calls, voicemails and emails is unacceptable. I won’t make this mistake again.Update: the email they tell you to send as listed in the response will never be answered. I sent at least 3 emails that got no response.On 10/2 after placing a warranty claim in APRIL- the part was delivered and they took our old table pieces away. Problem with that is the end pieces they left were the wrong ends therefore rendering our bench useless. We can’t put it together. After an entire afternoon of trying to track down our table, we have to try to go to the warehouse tomorrow to try to retrieve the pieces on our own. They offered us $350 credit which we promptly turned down as I will NEVER shop in this store again. Please don’t believe 5 star reviews. Still have a useless piece of furniture.

Before stores reopened I spoke with some via website, very helpful. Wanted to wait to actually test out the furniture prior to purchase. Salesperson at Beavercreek gave me her cell # to call once we made decision. Went to store on East side of Columbus, salesperson not very helpful...she sat in recliner waiting for us to come to her with questions, we were interested in coffee table we saw on line too...she pointed to the Kiosk and told me check there. I called salesperson in Beavercreek (took couple days to reach)...she was very helpful and even gave us a lower price. Couch, love seat and coffee table were delivered when promised, recliner and head board were damaged and were delivered at a later date. I cannot say enough about how awesome our delivery drivers were...both sets, the discounted price and delivery are the reason for the 2 stars.When the recliner and head board were finally delivered, the head board was not assembled and was damaged. I called the provided # and had to leave a message, waited a day still no response but was able to reach a salesperson/manager who told me it could be up to 2 weeks before I received a response. It has been over a month and still no response. I will not use Ashley/Morris any time soon.

Poor customer service do not buy the insurance they do not back what they sell we bought a kitchen table there that was black what’s the service man came out and said that it was a manufacture defect did not have a finish on it it was just painted all the paint is coming off the top of our kitchen table they do not want to replace We even offered to pay more for another table they refuse to do it they sent out their warranty people to look at it the warranty people said it was a Manufacture defect So I called Morris back to Morris and had to send out their own people to look at it so their service people came out looked at it and told us it was a manufacture defect no finish on it anytime you try to call your service you have to wait online for over an hour and a half for Poor service I will not buy anything from there again whatever you do please don’t buy don’t buy the warranty because they do not stand behind it

I have never experienced such horrible customer service. I email, leave messages and even go into the store still nothing. I had damages to personal property from their delivery and the chairs to the table are defective. I paid additional for a warranty, for what? Received one email response from Brandie and was told she’ll be in touch. That was in June 2020 and to date nothing. This is the worst dealings I’ve ever had with a furniture company.

I am almost 9 months post purchase. I am still waiting on customer service to get back with me. Emails are fruitless. When I call the customer service line, no one answers. I have been on a wait hold for over 90 minutes and no person has ever answered. I went I to the store 4 months ago, they gave me an excuse of COVID. I still do not have my missing pieces. I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone!! We paid cash for a loft bed for our daughter that was to be delivered within two weeks. After TWO full months and FIVE attempted deliveries, we gave up and requested a refund! Among the multitude of issues:1) No call to let us know our bed wasnt being delivered because they didnt think they had all the pieces.2) Our bed was actually lost and not a single manager, nor delivery person could locate the bed so another one in a different state was ordered.3) Most of the bed was delivered but no hardware was included to assemble it.4) Wrong hardware delivered and ladder still missing.5) Delivered wrong hardware AGAIN!Morris was the most unorganized, unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my life! This excerpt is only a small piece of the countless hours I spent on the phone (mostly on hold) with them! Not to mention the multiple days taken off work to be home for the supposed deliveries! We were completely disappointed, especially our daughter that would get all excited again for each delivery to then just have loft bed pieces leaning against her wall for the entire summer! Do NOT purchase from this company!

The Centerville showroom was large and beautifully laid out with square foot after square foot of tasteful room setups to display the furniture in group settings. They offer several price ranges and quality levels to choose from to fit your entry level budget or furniture upgrade needs. We are happy to have discovered Morris furniture now in Columbus market and hope theyll open a back room or warehouse style location here also as they have in the Dayton market.

I am not much of a review writer but I believe this horrific experience deserves one. We have had nothing but problem after problem with a table I have purchased from Morris Memorial Day weekend. Here it is November and still not resolved. Most of the time when I reach out to guest services, they tell me they will follow up and give me a call back. I hardly ever receive a call back.The table was delivered with missing hardware. The hardware was ordered and received by Morris. At that point they then lost the parts and had to reorder them. Three weeks later we have a delivery team come put the table together. There were damages to the wood of the table, so we sent it in to be repaired. The table came back with more damages than it had when we sent it in to be repaired. At this point we had a Morris repairman come out to repair the table. The damages were too bad and the table had to be reordered.Four weeks later the table comes in and I schedule a delivery for three days later. The morning of the delivery I call because the tracker app was not working as it had in the past. The delivery service department proceeds to tell me that my delivery has been cancelled. THEY WERENT EVEN GOING TO NOTIFY ME THAT THE TABLE WAS NOT COMING THAT DAY!!Three calls later in the same day, someone finally told me that they had misplaced the table in their warehouse. THEY LOST IT IN 3 DAYS!!! It is super pathetic that this is the second time they have lost my order in their warehouseNo one will talk compensation with me until it is complete, but at this point I need to know if the compensation will even be worth it to move forward with this disaster.Their customer service and follow up is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. All I want is a complete table with no damages, but that is apparently too hard to get.

Part 2My furniture was not delivered until 6:49 that evening.  Some of the drawers to the dresser had polyurethane in them and some did not. The ones that had the polyurethane in them had painters tape in them.  The drawers also had dirt in them that I thought I was getting the floor model.  On July 25th, the day I was to received my replacement headboard I received a call from the driver who stated that the headboard that he has is damaged but he was told to still bring it to see if I wanted it.  I told the driver that I am not paying for a damage item and that it was no point to coming. I am frustrated by the fact that Morris would load the truck with items that they know are damaged or think that I would be okay with paying for a damaged headboard.  Again, this is not the first time that Morris has delivered damage merchandise.  I tried calling Morris but was not able to reach anyone, however shortly thereafter I received a call from what I was told was the corporate office. They wanted to set up a third attempt to delivery my headboard. I explained to her that now I have been inconvenience now the second time.  I told the lady that they could just come and pick up their furniture.  She told me that they could not as the furniture had been in my home 3 days. I explained to her that I did not get the delivery till almost 7PM and the 3 days would be up today at 7PM. She then told me that the 3 days started that day, and it did not matter on the time. I asked her what they were going to do for my inconvenience. . She placed me on hold then she came back and stated that she could give me a store credit for $75 and that was the highest they would go. I told her that was not acceptable and that I would be making some calls. I paid $199 for white glove deliver and in their own words Morris states that white glove service provides the highest level of assembly, inspection and after-purchase service. I paid for white glove service but did not received it.On August 6th I was able to speak with the General Manager at the Florence store.  I explained my situation to him, and he stated that he was willing to refund the $199 delivery fee.  He stated that he could not process the refund until the headboard has been delivered. Upon hanging up from him I called Morris customer care line but was not able to reach anyone.  I have attached documentation of all my attempts of contacting Morris for assistance, but I have not been successful in doing so. I emailed the customer Care which is also attached.I do not understand how Morris tell customers that you have 3 days to contact them but contacting them and speaking with someone has been almost impossible. How is it that they load merchandise not knowing its damaged?  I am very frustrated and disappoint customer after making over 30 calls to Morris Furniture. Terrible customer service at Morris so the last time I went looking for furniture I went to Furniture Fair and spent my money there instead of Morris. We bought a recliner couch from Morris about 18 months ago. One of the recliners in the couch broke in the first few months so we tried to get in touch with them to have it fixed under the manufacturers warranty. Every time we called we were on hold for 20 minutes to a half an hour with no answer eventually we would leave a voicemail but no one would return that call. We purchased an extended warranty so when we couldnt get a hold of Morris to do anything we contacted the extended warranty company hoping to get it taken care of that way but they said they couldnt fix it because it was still inside of the first year so it was under the manufacturers warranty. So we tried to go back to Morris again but phone call after phone call went unanswered and calls were not returned when we left voicemails. We finally went in and stood at the customer service desk where that lady inside the store called their customer service number and we waited for 25 minutes before somebody picked up the phone and said they couldnt cover it in warranty because we were now outside of the one-year timeline. They basically ignored us until the manufacturers warranty had expired. At that point we couldnt file with the extended warranty company because we had already filed a claim with them that was denied so they knew that it had broke inside of the first year and therefore would not be covered by the extended warranty.

I ordered a sectional on 10 Nov and finally got it 22 Jan. One piece was broken when they delivered. It was hit hard at some point and broke the back of the sectional in multiple places which you could feel though the fabric. They took the piece back and I found they just repair it there and return to you.If I had known this was their policy up front I would never buy anything from this store. I paid good money for NEW furniture, not something that was broken and repaired.All I got from them was tough its in the fine print!Not a company I would ever buy from again.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every time I speak to a representative, the story changes. I had confirmed scheduled delivery for 9-11, I call day of and ask where my furniture is and they tell me that they don’t have it, but tell me it can be delivered the 15th. The day before rolls around and they tell me they still don’t have it. After already getting rid of my furniture because I had twice already confirmed my delivery, they tell me it won’t be for another 2 weeks on the 30th. The 30th rolls around and I ask about my furniture and they say it is in route to the warehouse from the manufacturer and they just need up to 72 hours to scan it into location. After telling one of the representatives that I would like to cancel my order if it does not arrive, she tells me I cannot cancel until after 12 weeks and it has already been 8 since they were ordered. So Monday 10-5 rolls around and now the ETA changes to 11-25 after already being told 4 times by 4 different people that it was on the way. Gina, the rep I spoke to on the 5th was the rudest lady. I explained the situation and all she had to say was “it’s not in the notes”. And then proceeded to tell me that all sales are final and my order cannot be cancelled after previously being told otherwise. She then lied and said that my husband was told this prior when that is false. When I asked to speak to a manager she told me that managers do not take phone calls and one would be able to reach out to me within 48 hours or so. I will never shop here again and will let everyone I know to not shop here. It has been the biggest nightmare. I have already started a dispute with my credit card company since Morris is completely incompetent and cannot take responsibility for their mistakes.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! The lack of customer service is just horrific. I ordered furniture in OCTOBER 2019. The delivery was missing the bed frame because it was somehow lost in the warehouse. It took over a month to resolve and I had to reach out to the CEO on LinkedIn to get anyone that would listen. The headboard and rails that I ordered in October were on back order until 2020. When this was deliveried in Mar 2020, of course they delivery men couldnt put it together because they said the parts were not all there. I did not want to deal with a repeat of what happened in the fall so I sent the product back and didnt accept the delivery. I reached out to customer service that day requesting a refund on March 6, 2020. I still havent received any refund, I sit on hold with Morris for over an hour and when I finally get through they (Kayla (no last name)) tell me that they will contact their accounting department and get right back to me but then never do. Now 3 months later, I still havent received my refund and no word from customer service. I honestly dont understand how companies can treat their customers with such disregard.

Bought a rocker recliner. Had issues with it within the first week. A repair tech was sent out. Tech had to order new mechanism. Morris would not replace chair because the call wasnt mad in first three days. It was made within first week but to bad. Repair and not replace was going to be my only option. Part was ordered. Took a month and a half to get part. Then three more weeks to get the tech back to install. Guess what. They shipped the wrong part!!!! Now I have to start over again. Never ever will Morris get any money from me!! UPDATE!!!!! They sent the wrong part.....AGAIN!!!! Now I am stuck with 2 wrong parts. Customer Service rep said SORRY we will send correct part next time. Morris Furniture is an absolute joke and will never get another dime from me.

The furniture layout and selection is outstanding! The sales person was great! But my two stars comes from the inflated price on all the furniture and the misleading labels on most setups.Veterans Day sale is supposedly 50% off or more...but off of what? An inflated price? These are the same prices I saw a few weeks ago. Lets say that its business at this point with that part...but what really frustrated me was the abstract signs on all the setups.I fell in love with a three piece set and told my salesman that we were going to buy it on the spot. But found out that the $1800+ sale price was only on the sofa and not the other three pieces as advertised on the sign that stated sofa collection now $1899 and did not state only for the sofa and not including the sofa loveseat and recliner. Even the salesman stated it could be misread and confusing. He then flipped the sign and I found out that I would owe over $4.5 for all of it!!!Sorry, but I hate hidden prices or bad advertising. Veterans day sale? They should just be upfront as you walk in the door. I was very disappointed that I didnt walk out with a new living room set. I probably would have paid $4.5k because it was an amazing setup, but the dishonest advertisement left a bad taste in my mouth.

The selection and quality of furniture surpasses most furniture stores Ive visited. I particularly liked the delivery tracking service available! It was very helpful to see where I was in the delivery queue as well as the location of the delivery truck with updated delivery times.The salesperson who assisted me was knowledgeable and courteous as well. I was given time, on my own, to browse at my leisure. But, when I did need help he was right there! Before my first visit to Morris I went to other furniture stores but there was no comparison. From now on, Morris will be my first, and probably only, stop when looking for furniture.

Want to share about Morris. Furniture selection is OK. Sales staff is good to work with. However, the delivery service is horrible. I was on the schedule from 1030 till 230. Having to take a day off from work. They never returned a phone call and never let me know that my schedule has changed. It is now after 5 o’clock, and I still have not received a phone call or had my delivery. Customer service at the delivery center could not answer any questions or help me any further. Very disappointing and frustratingUpdate! My furniture was to be delivered in November. It’s February (tomorrow) and still no word from Morris. WOW!

This review would have been 5 stars until today: I recently bought a house and an order for bedroom furniture was delivered today, with one thing missing; a packet of screws for the rails of the bed. After over an hour and a half of being on hold with their Customer Service line (even though their voiced messaging system said it should only be 25 minutes), it took 5 minutes of talking to someone to figure out that it would be another week before the hardware can be pulled (i.e. the packet of screws) and someone can drive over to setup the bed. I guess I will be sleeping on the floor in the meantime.

My husband and I visited the Dayton store and we walked through most of the store and were never greeted though we passed by several employees a few of which were sitting on the sofas. We came to see a specific sofa model and were not helped until I asked an employee where it was. When I told him about my experience he didn’t apologize rather, he cut me off. However he was the only one to help though the model wasn’t available at the Dayton location. I was displeased with the customer service and will not shop at Morris Home for this reason.

BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.I have had nothing but problems with this company and their delivery service. I had furniture delivered and the delivery company (Superior) damaged every piece of furniture and the walls in my home. I was told the my damage claim is in a queue....you have that many damage claims that there is a queue? That is a problem. Additionally, there has been a lot of misinformation and communication from Morris. I paid extra money for a weekend delivery of a new order after the damage to my furniture only to be told that they dont do weekend delivery to my area. Meanwhile the $5000 i have spent so far leaves me with clothes sitting on the floor in baskets because I do not have usable furniture.

Was offered the same chair at other locations for the same price. My sales sales associate went above and beyond to find the exact same chair in in the warehouse, only last years model, saving me a lot of money. Excellent selection and sales associates that listen to what your needs are. Im extremely satisfied with my experience. Great piece of furniture for a very reasonable price.

We have purchased furniture from Christy Bombatch and she has been wonderful to work with. Her cheerful spirit and helpfulness has inclined us to come back and work with her despite our less than stellar experience with Morris laely. We have purchased many pieces over the past 20 years and most of them were a good experience; however, recently (past 6 mos) the delivery has been terrible, and not just because of COVID-19. Furniture has been dropped and others delivered damaged. We hate to see the service diminsh our otherwise good experience with Morris.
