Had a scheduled appointment with optometrist, drove 20+ miles just to get here and be told that the optometrist is going to lunch soon. The staff told me if i can come later in the day or reschedule, ahhh seriously!! So i went to Americas Best and glad i did, they do contact and glasses exam for $99 good for 3 years of exams.

I like being able to just show up with or without an appointment for my annual exam. They are very fair on their pricing in regards to the exam and even offer me a discount as Im disabled and have Medicare and Medi-Cal without eye coverage.The staff is pleasant enough and I havent had any issues with them.I docked one star due to the fact that the first pair of glasses I purchased from them where actually a Chinese version of a brand name made for WalMart. The actual brand name frames are made in Italy... The pricing was close to the normal brand pricing, but I found their version at half the price online afterwards. Ive brought in my own frames since then. I also purchased their highest price lenses with Transition coatings and they barely lasted two years before I couldnt see out of them.The good clear and sunglass lenses I havent had an issue with at all which are what I use now. The first pair I purchased, and first mentioned here, are still useable with the good clear lenses!

THEY BROKE MY WARFARERS FRAMES,, NOW THEYRE CLAIMING THAT THE FRAME WAS ALREADY CRACKED,, THESE PEOPLE ARE UNBELIEVABLE!!! I AM DEFINITELY REPORTING THIS TO FRAUD. AND BBB!!

Staff members were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful when picking my first pair of prescription glasses. Minimal waiting time before the eye exam through appointment. Thank you Lewis for helping me out.
