We brought our truck in last Saturday for their advertised $10 full vehicle inspection and when we picked it up we were told there were no issues found with the truck. Great news right? Well 5 minutes after we left the shop, the brakes of the truck started to malfunction. We almost got in an accident because you had to put your full body weight on the brake to get it to stop. When pressing the brakes you can hear air coming out from the pedal. We turned right around and brought it back to the shop (probably werent gone more than 15 minutes). When we brought it back and we explained what was going on they responded the brakes were fine...they then brought the mechanic out who worked on the truck (he was extremely nice) and they told us to bring the truck back on Monday and they would lift it and see what was going on. We brought it back on Monday and the guy at the front desk immediately said We didnt do anything to your brakes and he got in to do a test drive and didnt even have to pull it all the way out of the parking space to see what we were talking about. He told us it would cost us $500-$600 to fix the problem. We left because I dont think it is a coincidence that 5 minutes after leaving an overall inspection that the brakes magically stopped working and now were expected to come out of pocket over $500 to fix something that happened at your shop? Accidents happen and I totally understand that but its how you choose to correct them. I called and left a message for the regional area manager to contact us and was told I can expect a response in 48 hours...We have had zero communication from anyone at firestone and are coming up on 7 days without a working truck.

I went to this place a couple of years ago and it took them 5 hours to check my vehicle and put new tires on. Every time I checked they said it would just be a few minutes more. I have no idea why I went back, but I figured maybe it was just a one off.So, I call and make an appointment. I get there, they dont have the appointment on the books. I said Id make another appointment. The guy says no, they can get to it in a few minutes. So, we toddle off to putz around Home Depot while we wait. 40 minutes later, my car hasnt moved, so i go in and again say Ill make another appointment. NO, HES JUST ABOUT TO PULL THE CAR IN. Okay. We toddle off to the coffee shop. 20 minutes later the car still hasnt moved. Long to short, I asked for my keys while the guy is trying to explain to me why you can have an appointment and still wait hours and hours. So why make appointments? Plus, they act as if theyre doing you a favor instead of charging an arm and a leg to provide a service. There will be no third time. Id give minus stars if I could since I got burnt twice by them.

Employees were pretty nice. The only problem was it took 4 1/2 hrs to get a tire changed. They were very busy. Maybe hiring another employee might help. Overall, not a bad experience, just time consuming. 👍

I had an appointment at The Firestone in Chalmette to get my Air Conditioning diagnosed. We had to to wait 2 weeks to get appointment and when we do get there for the appointment we got overlooked. For them to tell us that someone had taken there AC diagnostic machine and that he didnt have any idea when they could perform an AC diagnostic check. Its hard to believe that a nationwide supposed complete tire and auto repair chain only has 1 AC diagnostic machine. I have a Firestone Credit Card account that I just spent a $100 dollars for tires with them. I feel that the manager should be aware of of there appointments, and shouldt have allowed whoever took the machine do that. That like you have an appointment to go get tires and they tell you that they dont have any wrenches to take your tire off of your car and they dont know when they be able to get any lug wrenches.

Made appointment. Said it would be about an hour. Waited well over an hour, car still sitting there. They said that its an hour once they get around to it. Do NOT recommend.

Set appointment to mount and balance 22 inch oem wheels and tires that I was bringing with me. When I showed up they said I did not have an appointment. Told me I called the wrong store. When I gave him the number I called to set the app he told me that is an internet number. Then he said they might not be able to mount and balance 22 inch oem wheels. If thats the case then how do they service gm trucks and suvs with oem 22 inch wheels. I ended up going up the street to another tire shop and they did job in 30 minutes.

I went there before they opened at 7am and was finished before 9am. Great job yall. The car alignment is 100.

They took care of my tires when a nail has got into it. I am from Alabama so I appreciate putting me back on the road so I can make it to school in time.

I was told they have 1 of my tires on the phone... Only need the 1. Been waiting for about 2 hours and they just now told me they dont have my tire. I do not recommend this pla e. Ive lost income sitting here . Negative taking I cant give low enough rating. So mad Im in parking lot still and couldnt wait to tell the world how I was done here today

My family and I rented a vehicle to drive to New Orleans for the holiday weekend and ended up with a flat, I called to see if we could bring the rental in to get a new spare for the drive back to Florida. These guys got us in the same day (not even an hour after I called) on Fourth of July weekend. They were prompt, front desk guy was friendly (I forgot his name but he’s got a new grandchild), they billed the rental company’s account, and I highly recommend anyone in the area go to them for any work they need. I was shocked that we were in and out in under 45 minutes, I wish service were this great where we live.

They helped me with my oil change quickly, and when I came back with trouble with my hood catch, they took the time to check it out and show me where another shops faulty bodywork had caused the issue - they fixed it up good enough to go again and told me they would install the replacement if I brought it to them. No charge for the temporary fix even though it wasnt their fault! Great service!

Never had anything but good service here. They have honored their tire warranty with me on the same tire twice now. (Im a curb murderer and they dont fault me for it.)Theyre not exactly the cheapest around, but the service and guarantees are worth the extra cost.

Overall service is good. It can be a long wait though. My last visit I had to get a tire repaired and the following day my tire was flat. I returned and they fixed the problem. The tech himself came and apologized and informed me exactly why the patch had failed and it was due to his error. To me that is first rate. I will always go back for service when a facility has honest hard working individuals. Kudos to that tech.

My husband and I have been going to this location for the past 7 years now and are so happy with the service we get there. They are always willing to go above and beyond what is expected! Great customer service and an absolute joy to do business with. One of the few places I deal with that I know I can trust. Refreshing to say the least!!!

They don’t seem to care at all, honestly. I’ve been in here since 1:55 waiting for an oil change, it’s 3:25 now. They always seem short-staffed and the ones who are here never seem to expedite or care. I just wanted to say the Chalmette team deserves the highest recognition available! Ms. Tina, Mr. Bryant and the amazing mechanic - Mr. Jose - made me feel like a long lost friend. They were professional, helpful and truly made the experience better than expected. I would not hesitate to take my vehicle or recommend a friend or family member to them.

Place is a joke. I asked them to rotate my tires and they only rotate one side. They refused to honor the lifetime alignment with some bs that my control arms are in a dangerous position to fail. Its not, the weight of the car is what makes the bushing look like that. Ive filed a chargeback on my card already. Let all these firestone places close down and let them be jobless.Edit: responding to the reply.Ive heard all that was said behind my back while I sat there in the waiting area. You guys have no professionalism.Another thing I found funny was waiting for a part that shouldve taken less than an hr to replace took the entire day. Come on.... no excuse.

Great tire joint... Knowledgeable, friendly staff and can order non-Firestone or Bridgestone tires for a great price and install them. Ive bought and had installed 6 Firestone and 4 special order Falken tires from here.Oh and Haley is super kind, patient and very knowledgeable and friendly... She answered all of my possibly insignificant questions like a champ. :)

Went in. 3 employees, 1 customer. I rolled a tire up to the door and went inside Waited 5 minutes at the desk. Sat and waited another 10 minutes. 2 employees came thru the waiting room. They all pretended no one was there. Ill never go back. J Lee tires right down the street. 5 minutes I was driving away.Horrible customer service. A screw you attitude when the boss is gone, but Ive gotten good service when the boss is there.

I called ahead to get a tire that I had purchased from this location patched. Drove 30 miles out of my way to reach the location at 5 p.m., was told they would be unable to patch my tire that evening. The manager was rude and dismissive. I called the corporate office, the corporate office called the location. Whomever they spoke to at the location lied and said they had multiple people and multiple vehicles in front of me, which was not the case there were two vehicles in the dock and the manager on the phone doing nothing. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Thankfully there are many small tire repair shops in that same location, was able to get my tire patched right down the road for $15 by a very nice helpful gentleman.

Very disappointed with this store. Went in for the first oil change on the new vehicle and found out after I left that they charged me for a complete vehicle inspection. Come on, it is a new vehicle, plus I did not ask for it. They are a ripe off.
