I received exceptional service as a seller to this store. I was in town from TN to settle my moms estate after she passed, and the staff made this process as easy as a difficult thing can be. They were quick and responsive to my time frame, and guided me through each step - from the initial visit to view the items, to placing them at the store, to sending payment as things sold. I do not live close enough to be a buyer, but would certainly become a shopper here if I were in the area. Highly recommend this business.

I was and still am very happy with my experience at Classic Home Consignment. I recently moved out of the Champaign-Urbana area and Mary made everything super easy for me. Classic Home Consignment is helpful when you are a seller and I would recommend them to anyone. I just wish I had shopped here and supported them while I lived in the area. Great store and service!

Some are reasonable, most are expensive. There was a regular recliner for $650

Beautiful store and some great prices, but definitely on the more expensive side of things. Either way, Id fo back without my xhildren. I would recommend keeping them home since there are a lot of breakable things.

Looks can be deceiving! My wife and i recently moved to the area and checked out several different consignment shops. We initially were impressed with this store as they have a very spacious layout, with lots of great natural light, that soon faded as we attempted to purchase several items. I spoke with an older woman about several pieces we were interested in purchasing, two of the pieces were within Days of being marked down on their dated markdown system but she made it very clear that in order to recieve that price we would need to return on those specific days rather than being able to purchase all of the items and take them with us that day. Owning your own business is certainly a difficult thing to do in this current economic climate, however being so rigid as to let a sale that would have been over 1,000 walk out the door, is pretty risky. I have great respect for small business owners but i will not shop in one simple because it is there. I have been fair to post a review of this store and the store we made our purchase. on a side note I follow the online page for this store and two of the items my wife wanted to purchase have recently...hit that dated markdown date and guess what, they are still there....big surprise! Perhaps you may want to think on that instead of being so rigid?? Best of luck

Fun atmosphere, nice staff, this store has lots of great finds, even for those with a smaller budget. One of my favorite places to visit, though it is hard to leave without taking something home!
