Typical college bookstore. They do allow you to browse textbooks in the basement, while some other college bookstores cordon off the area.

There was a young man who helped me find EXACTLY what I was looking for, he went above giving great customer service...he was so nice and helpful. Overall I can honestly say that the entire store was filled with excellent customer service, everyone I had an encounter with was helping and really nice.

Quite expensive otherwise but reasonable considering its branded UIUC merch. Theres lots to choose from, including clothes, stationery etc.

It is the official bookstore of the University of Illinois. Located at the corner of Wright Str. and Daniels Str. in Champaign, it is an amazing place to buy gifts for family and friends.It offers officially licensed souvenirs and apparel, a wide selection of general books, and the largest selection of textbooks.Also, inside the building you can find an Amazon Prime Student point for the Amazon Prime members at Illinois and a Starbucks Store.

You can get stuff here, I guess.

I love this bookstore and have been going for years. Great selection, great staff, and I love the fact I can drink a glass of wine while browsing! I didnt know I could like this place more, but last night the staff really went above and beyond. My car battery died while I was in the store. The bar manager (Im sorry I never got her name) loaned her jumper cables, and a staff member (Jeffrey) came out to jump my car. Thank you times a million 😊

Love the rewards program here. One of the best outlets for the Fighting Illini Gear and some niche literature. The in-house Starbucks outlet makes it a worthwhile visit and one can run into the numerous promotional gigs that the Amazon store runs on Level 1.

I love this place. Visited for Dads Weekend and got some good deals on shirts. Theres a great Starbucks inside with seating. The store is very big with upstairs loft for additional shopping. A bank inside, too.

Cool but $40 for a cup thats $20 at Target is kinda wack.

Nice as far as student bookstores go. Big selection of merchandise. The authors corner looks like a nice place to sit and read.

I havent been in this bookstore in over 20 years. Although its a bit crowded, its still great to go in and peruse their selection. The Starbucks wasnt there in the 90s. Its a nice touch.

Very clean and organized place. Good for all college necessities and other purchases. The Illinois brand increase the value of the products.

Super convenient spot to pick up and supplies you need, merch to flex, and school books. Note that you are also paying for its convince. However, with a Starbucks and an Amazon pickup station nearby its a perfect spot to browse when youre around.

The staff is courteous. When you walk into the bookstore before class starts, you can feel a nervous energy coming from the patrons. However, the staff showers warmth and kindness to everyone they meet.

The parking was not convient for the services available. Im assuming most of this location patrons are University students and dont mind the parking as they are probably walking. I would recommend that if you have Amazon return and you have a car just drive to Kohls.

Stopped in for a quick afternoon drink before a meeting. Needed something cool and sweet. Is never had their smoothies and thought why not?I had the strawberry banana and it was absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. I was quickly off to my meeting but there was a wide selection of comfie couches and chairs being enjoyed my many.

Very good university bookstore. It always had the required books as well as all of the optional books and syllabus for your classes. Efficient and well staffed.

I went into the book store with my husband to get his new icard that he had lost.I went in with him and they woman yelled at me to get out. Only one person! I told her we were married, and she said she didnt care, just get out! Then she wanted $20.00, and I was paying. It was okay for me to come in then. She was EXTREMELY rude!!!!

Good range and selection of oficial collegiate products, a bit pricey though. Advice: Dont buy stationery here, quality is not good compared to the price. Some items are really useless and poor quality. However, the Illinois folders are really good.You can rent textbooks for the semester which is really helpful. It also houses the Amazon Prime delivery and collection point, which is very helpful to avoid shipping charges when you make returns.

I absolutely love this bookstore, just the atmosphere in general. I only bought coffee at the Starbucks inside, baristas were very sweet and friendly and any other employees I ran into during my visit were also great!

Nice place with a wide range of U of I merchandise. Prices are good when they have coupons for money off, which is often.

Everything for the Union Bookstore is set up so well. The main floor is well organized and the bottom floor textbook area is also well organized. Fantastic staff and nothing to complain about!

Great place to pick up Illini gear. And the revenue goes back into student programs and activities. Also the primary retailer of books on campus now. Just opened an Amazon Locker inside so you can get items the same day you order them from Amazon if you use an Amazon student account. Really great place, currently doing renovations though (11/1/2016).

They had nice stuff but I asked about the discount. The cashier told me I needed a discount code. I had to go back and ask someone else to get a refund.

The bookstore is nice overall. The only problem I had was with the lady at the ID center who gave me attitude when I wanted to get my ID card. She made simple instructions seem difficult and slammed my old UIC card onto the counter after I gave it to her. I don’t know why she was so irritated when I was being polite.

One of the few remaining independent campus bookstores. Profit goes back into student activities. So many reasons to shop the Illini Bookstore.

The Bookstore has pretty much all the semester books you might be looking for but, the best part is, it has so much more than just books. It has 3 floors in all. The top most floor is the general merchandise where you can find hoodies and Illinois tees. The main floor has stationery, starbucks (yes, STARBUCKS), nike clothes section along with miscellanies. The bottom most floor has all the semester books and is very crowded in the start of the semesters (you will barely have place to move). You can also sit and study there. Meet a friend and so much more.

I got my I-card and a cup of coffee when I visited it. It is crowded then and I did not take a look at the products.

Terrible location, these people just walk right in front if your car, face down in a phone... its a one way so the flow is awful. Amazon needs to find a better drop off spot.

The Amazon location at the bookstore is amazing and makes ordering and returning textbooks extremely convenient and super quick. All you have to do is drop of the textbook and tell them your email. So easy!

Kinda hard to get to. Centrally located in campus. Needs more staff for what goes on in there.

Stopped by this University on my way to California. My wife went her twenty years ago and I wanted to trace her story. The university layout looks like an urban ghetto. Everything looks old and not clean. Perhaps, twenty years ago it was nicer.

Lots of regalia - go illini!here you can find books, clothes, frames for your diplomas. I have been here before the May 2019 MBA ceremony and I really enjoyed it.

I mean...... Theres kinda no choice in where to buy textbooks other then here. Everything is stupidly expensive but.... The store itself is very well organized and things are easy to find. There are long lines the first few days of each semester, but it does die down after the first week or so. Amazon one day shipping lockers here are also amazing and super cool! Love that quick feature :)

The U of I bookstore. Summer hours are unfortunate, but provides all the textbooks (given theyre in stock) and a lot of books for leisure reading. Good for snacks too if youre lost. + Starbucks

Less user friendly than youd expect from a university campus. No working elevator escalator or access for disabled students adults or anyone unable to navigate stairs. Much too commercial than friendly or scholarly..why is amazon posted so boldly overshadowing the bookstore. Is it a bookstore it takes a backseat to amazon out front. Love. Akobi.

Although its a bit pricey, its always well stocked and has a Starbucks inside! What more could you ask for.

A ton of really cool items! (Especially if you go to college there). My only complaint is that everything is over priced. On the plus side there were a ton of cute little squirrel plushies! Its base will fit in the palm of your hand. Its a good idea, since this campus has quite the arrangement of bold squirrels. Only problem- they were 15.00.

I have no strong opinions. I do like the Amazon here. In the end, its a college book store.

Regular university bookstore. There is a Starbucks inside that does not accept their reward points. There is also a a modest amount of UIUC gear although the selection pales in comparison to Gameday Spirit next door. The best thing about the place is the Amazon return center.

There should be a handicap accessible door on the outside. Great for picking up or dropping off UPS packages.

Avoid this place if you can, pretty much everything is overpriced and staff are unhelpful. Im convinced theres only a handful of employees that know whats going on. Ordered a book rental, didnt get any notifications for 2 weeks then went to ask about it, picked it up and was upcharged because they were out of the edition I ordered. If you do have to buy something, buy off the shelf, online ordering is super disorganized. Better luck with Amazon for books and T.I.S. for merch
