Had an appointment for an oil change. Service was great! However, it took about an hour. Ive never had to wait that long for an oil change before. Staff was very professional, and the lobby was clean and comfortable to wait in.

My granddaughter had her oil changed and tires rotated. Two days later while driving on the highway she noticed the left front tire wasn’t sounding right. She made it to a repair shop, all of the lug nuts were very very loose, except for one! When I called to let them know, all I got was “that’s bad”. No offer of any kind! Won’t be going there again

The tow guy who came and gave me a jump-start this sub-zero morning recommended these guys to me. He said this was his most-requested tow destination. I went out there and ended up just getting an oil change.They gave me a great deal, and were super prompt and courteous. I was thinking about getting a new battery, too, and they gave me a good quote but werent pushy in the least when I decided against it.Had a great experience here, and when I got home and told my grandpa I had gone here, he said he was glad I picked it, because hes been going here for years as well and loves them too. They put teddy bears in my kids car seats! Super quick turn around. From the last hail storm the neighborhood is getting new roofs and siding which has been 3 trips to TGK for nails in tires. Really great pricing and quick turn around.

I stopped by today, the last day of the year, around noon, without an appointment, with a flat, right front tire. Easy to make appts online for services and easy to schedule appts on weekends as I don’t have time during the week. Also, it’s nice to get a text update of the maintenance needed to be done during oil change visits.

__Ok, Ive been using Arboretum Tire before it became TGK. I have to admit, I probably wont use them again. Nice that they squeezed me in this Saturday, but I left my car for the day. I got a call at 2:15PM that my car was done so I went to pick it up shortly after 4:00PM. I found out they closed at 2:00PM. Another family was also looking for their car. I need my car and I now cant get it until Monday morning. Seriously?__Next Day (Today) I got a call from Craig, I think that was his name. He came in on Sunday to release my car. I appreciate that. I like the companys response on future calls that they will try to update people on store time closing etc, when they call. Makes sense, if you call someone that your car is done, tell them when they need to pick up the vehicle by. Although when I arrived, I was wondering what type of atmosphere I would encounter. I was a little put back by the comment, youve been a long time customer, you should have known the store hours. I didnt even respond to how I run my business.

We recently have taken both of our vehicles to TGK and it was such a great experience each time. They are friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Being someone that doesnt know anything about vehicles, they are very patient and helpful. They have a clean building if you are waiting for your car to be worked on, which is very nice. We also get great coupons in the mail. Definitely going to be going to TGK Chanhassen from now on!

I brought my car in about 9am so they could have a look at what it neededWithin two hours i had received an email reporting on status of what was needed to get my car to safe operating standards. It included 3 short video clips that were worth 1,000 words in terms of explaining the deficiencies that needed fixing up... Bad tie rod ends were obvious in the videos that took all of the questions out of the believability of the mechanics analysis.I was not aware that the videos were coming, and it really was a nice convenience, especially in view of the Covid 19 Damnpendick!Oh! And they did an excellent job on the brakes... I need to save up some shekels for the tie rod ends and other parts yet to be done.But I know that TGK is the friendly, professional place you can can count on to get it done. They also provided a newish loaner car at no charge. My first experience with TGK was Great!

I have been taking my cars here for many years. Always trustworthy, considerate, on time and well priced.

Called on Tuesday to get new tires ordered, was informed they would call the following day when they arrived to schedule appointment. No call, called back on Thursday afternoon to follow up, was informed tires were there. Scheduled to drop my car off on Friday morning, left my car there around 8:30am, called back around 2:00pm for an update. Was told they hadnt gotten to it yet, should be about 2 hours I was told. I got dropped back off at the location around 3:30pm figured I could wait a bit if they were still finishing up. I saw my car sitting in the same spot I left it in...no new tires. What a waste of time

I’ve been going to this auto repair shop for a while. Every visit is met by professionals who enjoy the job. Last visit I called at 10:00am looking for an oil change as I was leaving the state the next morning. They squeezed me in. They really go out of there way to make it work if possible.

Not only did they give me a written estimate the took photos of the before and after work. Really liked thatThere workmanship was very professional and they did very good work. The service writer was professional and concerned about the work they were performing. Kept me up to date on work progress.I would recommend to anybody that needs work on there vehicle. Whether its just an oil change or major work like I had done.I will bring my vehicle back to finish the diagnostic work to be done.I think they are very professional and do excellent repairs on vehicles.

Nobody likes to deal with car issues. It’s expensive, stressful, and always leaves you wondering “what’s gonna break next”. Well TGK is as good as it gets! Professional, timely, trustworthy, good pricing. I know that they will get the job done right the first time, and their comprehensive vehicle inspection helps you understand the health of your car and plan future maintenance to prolong the life of your vehicle (and prevent costly emergent repairs). They’re not pushy about getting “dumb little things done just for the money”. I have and will continue to use TGK for ALL my automotive needs until I die, move, or invent teleportation.

As a woman, I am always apprehensive around mechanics. My grandpa is a mechanic and has been for over fifty years. He and I often work on my cars together, however with the pandemic I didn’t want to risk visiting him.This shop didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and they didn’t try to pressure me into unnecessary repairs. When they find something, they provide you with photos, measurements, and quotes with expenses broken down into each component. When I didn’t feel a repair or flush was necessary, they respected that decision. The shop overall was very clean and friendly.Overall great experience, would go to them again.

Great experience! Its always difficult finding an auto repair shop that you can trust and know youre not paying for something you shouldnt. I dont know much about cars so that trust is key for me! I work full time so I appreciated that the lobby area was clean and convenient to work in with my laptop.

They identified an issue with our new truck and ran a full diagnostic to check for other issues. They provide text updates which is very helpful when planning out the day. Overall, they have a Friendly and knowledgeable staff! They have fair pricing and Im always satisfied with their service!

I had an appointment at noon. I drop off my car around 1130 am I went to pick up my car around 430. My car was sitting on the same spot where I left.... No tires. Waste of time. Bad service

I have been taking our cars here for years, and the mechanics are absolutely wonderful. They just came under new ownership, and they have really stepped up their game with technology. I highly recommend them. Great customer service and great work.

I needed pads and rotors, as well as taking care of a LOUD rattle from the heat shield. They were super pleasant on the phone and in person, the cost was very reasonable (and on par with other area shops). Service was exceptionally fast, and they did a great job. Terrific communication as well!

They got me in same day with short notice to change my front headlight. Place was clean and efficient. Labor prices for install were just right. I would recommend.

Disappointed with the new owner and employees. The atmosphere is not the same. Cody is helpful and nice as always. Been going here for over 10 years. With multiple cars. Waiting room is not comfortable. Beverages were lackluster. No water? Bathroom is dirty every time.

TGK has been able to give me appointments within 24 hrs from oil changes to other maintenance. Price is consistent with other auto maintenance businesses.

I had been a loyal customer to the Arboretum Auto and Tire for awhile and returned after learning of the new ownership. The customer service is why I choose to drive out to this location and I am happy to know that level of service has not changed!I know when I go here Im going to be taken care of and NOT taken advantage of. With the new ownership their has been some updates made on text message scheduling and receiving your car report through text as well. I really enjoy the new feature but hands down give a 5 star rating on their service.

Took my truck in to TGK and they did great work, they are honest and stand behind what they do. They got a small scratch on the side of my door and they told me about it right away and offered to get it fixed or take that amount off my final bill. I will definitely be taking any of my vehicles here if they need work in the future.

Great service and friendly. Brought vehicle in for a broken sway bar and they sent me pictures of the repairs, estimated cost, plus a list of maintenance items to watch. Came for new tires and an oil change. Prices were fair and the staff was friendly. Seems like a good, honest place that I would go back to. They will tell you when your tires were manufactured and only use newer tires so they are higher quality. They offer free rotations every 8-10,000 miles. Nice waiting room with coffee and snacks
