Meat is great quality, selection is very good. No masks, 2 seconds after door was opened, 3 kids asking what I need without giving me second to peruse, and they all had a look like they just got freed from the cellar and an 18 wheeler was quickly coming to run them over. Id say its just this time, but five years in a row I usually go somewhere else. Meat alone 5 stars. terrified deer in the headlights, 1/2 star.

Quick, helpful service. They had everything I needed on hand and bagged it up for me. Always a great selection and top quality meat.

We shop at 4 different Von Hansons. The one in chaska is by far the worst, least friendly and helpful. Employees seem incredibly indifferent about customer service. Shop in Chan or Shakopee. Better selections and far better staff.

I’ve always appreciated this place until COVID. I was in today and no employees were wearing masks. They seemed to scoff and chuckle at my mask. When I asked why they didn’t have masks on, one employee said that it was posed as an “option” by management.I can’t see myself supporting a so blatantly irresponsible workplace going forward. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere where they better protect their workers and the public.

I was there Friday March 25 it was packed. I was greeted as I came in the door, waited a couple mins but was helped my a great women. Didnt catch her name unfortunately only thing I remember she had a face piercing and pig tails. She was so polite and helpful she even offered to take my things to my car since my hands were full with my little one. From start to finish she did an outstanding job didnt flinch or stress it was packed and still had the customers needs in mind! ! Thank you!

Von Hanson’s is a full service butcher shop. They offer all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken. Extensive sausage grinds. They are our 1st choice when we BBQ. My favorite is a 2 inch cut New York Strip.

We go to the Chaska location and their products are always great. What sets them apart is their consistent friendliness and customer service. Someone has created a great and positive culture there.

The staff here has always been super helpful and I love the location! The selection at this one is abbreviated and they didnt have several of the meats I was looking to buy.

Dont waste your money or meat. Just tried some goose sausage made by them, it was full of bones and injured my teeth and gums.. The owner wouldnt refund any money and you lose your meat.Buyer beware!!!! Im going straight to the BBB site from here.

Stopped in to get the dog some pig ears he loves also had a sandwich made on some pretzel bread #amazing

Ordered two slabs of spare ribs, i told them to trim the ribs down down to st. Louis style where as the cartilage meets the bone, well they were not cut where the cartilage meets the bone, they were folded in half as well when I picked them up. If your thinking about using von hansons for competition bbq meats, I suggest you go else where, it was a huge let down for me

Their wildrice brats are unbelievable. I also enjoy their sirloin steaks along with fair pricing. You have a lifetime customer with our family.
