I love this place so much. They have games you can play. You can hang out and chill for ten bucks and the people are amazing. They run great games and have really awesome kids programs. Full disclosure my friends own the place.
Good independent game seller. Has reasonably priced rental games, a gaming parlor, and knowledgeable staff. Also, save your receipts for a discount.
Ive had mixed experiences. The worst was: I placed an order with 3 Trolls for a game I really wanted, instead of buying it cheaper online, just to support the store. (Note: this was well after the games street publishing date.) When I returned to ask about my order, a 3 Trolls owner told me their distributor had never heard of the game. Alarmed, I informed the game publisher; but when the game publisher called 3 Trolls, the owner admitted that he had simply forgotten to order the game and had lied to me.
3 Trolls Games & Puzzles is an outstanding location in Chelmsford. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the store is well stocked with the latest RPGs, miniatures, card games, board games, puzzles, and even model rockets. Most impressively, the store has a game parlor in back (with a $10 entry fee) that give access to tons of board games, game terrain, and tables.Definitely recommended for locals and visiting gamers alike.
Very helpful staff and a good selection of Magic the Gathering singles.
Amazing selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff, hobby and craft products, an extensive library of classic gaming books, a must-stop for tabletop gamers of all sorts.
Great game store. The staff is super friendly and the prices are great! If u need board games or anything of the sort I highly recommend 3 Trolls.
Love this place. Highly recommend for board and card games
Wonderful and unique place both for buying gifts, games/game accessories and comics and for playing games
I havent been here in almost 10 years, as I moved away from the area, but I can honestly say the even though 3 Trolls was a 5 star gaming store back then, its even higher now.I love the back room gaming area where you can rent games to play, and the shelves are stocked with plenty of current games. I also like you can buy individual MtG cards. The same owner is still there, and as friendly as last time, and his fiancee is nice and knowledgeable too.Ill definitely be back next time Im in the area.
The owner (I think) was super nice. Pretty unique selection of board games, we ended up buying more than anticipated because the was such a great variety.I think there is some kind of deal when you spend enough money and keep your receipts. Will certainly go back when in the area again!
Pretty cool place, the main guy helped me figure out what book I need and sort of helped me understand the D&D universe. He was welcoming and showed me around and answered a bunch of my questions. Overall a cool experience, Ill definitely be back!
Good selection of RPG books, even some indie titles. Good selection of Reaper Miniatures and some of the Nolzurs D&D miniatures. Good but not huge selection of board games, probably have most of the popular titles.Parking was ample.
Location:Easy to find at the Summer Street Plaza. Plenty of parking.About the store:Friendly, family owned store, with an accepting atmosphere. A great place to try new games, buy new games, play new games, and socialize. This store sells tabletop games, puzzles, models, paints and accessories for miniatures hobbyists, a collection of RPG books, and toys. The game room:For a small fee, there is also an exceptional game room available. People can show up to paint, play games, socialize, or even play from an assortment of great titles of tabletop games! They also hold special events for both children and adults, so be sure to look for them on facebook to see what events are going on!
A classic Friendly Local Game Store, run by and for table-top enthusiasts. They carry a good mix of modern and classic games as well as a decent selection of miniatures and models. Selection can be spotty, but I wouldnt expect a small shop to carry a huge inventory.
Great place to rent games and try then out. Friendly owner. I am not much of a game person, but I think my buddy liked the place a lot.
This place is great! Cozy space to worldbuild, order lunch from a variety of places nearby, or play a game of D&D with friends. The staff are sweethearts, too.
Ive been in monthly for about six months. I get my hair cut down the street, and was thrilled to find a local game store. I was put off a little by being asked to place merchandise I was carrying while browsing on the counter. I figured it was because I was an unfamiliar face and let it go. 6 visits and a couple hundred dollars later and I still receive a cold greeting and am asked to leave merchandise Ive picked up from the shelves on the counter. In an era where stores like this cant afford to be competitive with online merchants in terms of price or selection, good customer service and local business warm and fuzzies are their primary attractions. If this store has been victimized by shoplifters in the past, Im truly sorry, but treating paying frequent customers like thieves will only lose you business.I shop at other game stores in New Hampshire and Cambridge and have never been treated this way elsewhere. At a time of unprecedented demand for D&D related products, this store should have been in a great position to grow. That seems unlikely after my experiences there.
They have an inexpensive gaming space on the back of the shop. You can rent games to play as well.
Hands down the best gaming store Ive found in a while. Even though its small, the people are friendly, the stock is well organized, and the place is clean and nicely lit. Definitely my new go-to for gaming abd modeling.
Super welcoming and knowledgeable staff with a vibrant community!
Friendly staff. Great system for playing games and hanging out all day. I’m sad I live in a different state because I want to visit all the time!
Very helpful staff and a friendly space. More than just games and puzzles. They also sell snacks and drinks, and have a rentable space in the back for playing games.
Lots of cool table top games like warhammer and dungeons&dragons. Hobby things too like models. The host game nights and keep the gaming tables available for customer use
Great local game store for Magic the Gathering, board games, figures, and more
Friendly local game store, good variety of games for sale and a huge gaming library to play in store.
Always have a good selection of card sleeves and deck boxes. There are reviews saying the owners are rude, but Ive never had that issue. Theyve always been friendly to me. Additionally, they have an awesome deal where if you save your receipts, for every $100 you spend you get a $10 store credit.
Best local game store around! Ive been going to this place since a kid getting Yu-Gi-Oh packs and such but now that ive grown to love D&D this place has become a haven when im in town. Friendly staff working on improving the store and a wide selection of board games and products alike!
Good selection and they get the latest release as soon as they are available... the owners know their stuff and are very sharp... we are regular customers.
Nice little shop to browse for hard to find tabletop games
Amazing place, smart fun customers.
Great place run by awesome people.
Really nice store with great staff!
They have like next to no puzzles, pretty much a magic card store with a bunch of kids playing games in the back...
Friendly staff and well stocked shelves.
I love the place, great people and prices!
Great game store, very friendly!
Good selection of D&D figures
Great place for the mini painter!
