This is my favorite store in the whole world, and everyone there is always super helpful. Today the manager got a step ladder to help me reach cat litter that she saw me reaching for because she didn’t want me to get hurt trying to get it down by myself ♥️

One if the most cluttered and dirtiest DG Ive been to. Shelves were stocked but Im disarray. Aisles were narrow and not clearly marked.. Staff was friendly and efficient

My friend went there to purchase a phone charger for my cellphone Galaxy A11.Cause the cricket store sold me a dollar store charge for $25 plus tax and it cracked in the middle where you place it in the charger. He refused to give me a refund or order the charger that goes with the cellphone.

Dollar General has been a lifesaver during this pandemic. When other stores had no paper towels or toilet paper-- this store did. It also had low cost eggs and snacks. Grateful its nearby.

Cashier Michelle was ridiculously rude I almost walked out. Was an issue with a sign and she started banging stuff around because I questioned it. Literally pulled out my calculator to do the math for her because their ads werent ringing up on the cash register and she could not handle that.

Prices are great, convenience is great, the young cashiers unfortunately dont get the pay or treatment they deserve, so when they find good help, it normally doesnt last very long. Two of the older employees that have been there a while, (one being the manager) are not super pleasant to talk to. Its also usually dirty and cluttered with full stock carts. The convenience and prices make up for it and I will keep shopping here! But if I was the franchise owner, Id consider trying out new management.

No stock store is very unorganized

I had no idea that it was closed down because of electrical problems until I got there to try to open the door. I basically had to search all around for the scribbled note on the door that blended in with all of the other stuff that was on the door. It was a waste of my time in the heat in which I do not appreciate, but of course they would not think about that because they werent out in the heat for nothing. At least they were going to be paid for their time that they were there...They could have at least made the sign stand out more so people could tell that the place was closed.

When I first walked in I was greeted at the door & then when I needed help The cashier Angela was very helpful and helped me find everything I needed. She rang me up was very polite and pleasant. And told me about the survey on the receipt. I would go back again. My experience was very good. Thank you !

Dollar general is a great store to have nearby. They have a little of everything with great prices. Best deals are on cleaning supplies for me. During the day, not enough staff. They cashier and stock shelves at the same time.

It was easy to find the things you are looking for. However, the place is somewhat unorganized. The price tag says buy 2, get 1 free but the staff said I needed to buy 3 to get one free.

Always come in here but some price tags are missing which is annoying. The staff got better. They used to have a bunch a of people who would literally go outside together to smoke cigarettes INFRONT of the entrance doors. ALL of them would be out there. A few of them don’t work here anymore but some of them still do.

Really great DG store. They have alot of items, great deals and its located conveniently to gain access. I never really went to DG until I learned some of the great deals they have. A couple of the workers are A+ and are very friendly, however there is a manager with a foreign accent who is kind of on the rude side. Doesnt seem eager to help and acts like your bothering her when you go to check out

I stumbled across this little place back in the summer of 08. Or was it fall? Doesnt matter. Being new to the area I needed a place to flex my muscles. I strolled in and was immediately amazed about the vast selection to choose from. Prices are reasonable for someone who has constantly been on food stamps. Dollar General was the place to go back then. It still is. #blessed 🙏 #morelife

I have been shopping at this store for over 11 years. Over the past few years, I have noticed that there is never enough staff in the store. Only 1 person at the register, when there is a long line of customers waiting to check out. And only one individual to maintain the entire store. There always seems to be a long line of customers, not to mention that there is a lot of clutter throughout the store. Dollar General has obviously cut back on the amount of employees that are needed to run the store, in order to save money. I was in long line and mentioned to another customer that I made a mistake of coming in at that time, because I just wanted to make a quick stop. Another employee did come up front to open up a register, which was great. When I got to the register to make my purchases, the manager who was operating the other register, hands me an application and tells me if you dont like the way that we work, apply for a job and come and work here. Very rude and very unprofessional! I have been a regular customer and I know this manager, who I am always nice to. I told her that I was not referring to her or the other associate, and that I think that they are understaffed, she just said if you want things cheap, we have to keep costs down. I have seen her give a poor attitude to other customers in the past. I dont think that i will return again. Especially since she has known me for many years. And still made such a poor comment. As a manager of the store, that was very unprofessional and unacceptable.

THE ASIAN CASHIER IS NOT USING GLOVES AND TOUCHED MY DEBIT CARD. I TRIED TELLING THREE PEOPLE THEIR SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I HAVE TO WALK TO 7 ELEVEN TO USE THE ATM. THE ASIAN CASHIER TOLD ME, WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IM TOUCHING THE PRODUCTS? SOME TELL THE ASIAN SCIENTIST THAT VIRUSES STAYS ON MONEY FOR A WEEK OR MORE. KEEP NOT WEARING GLOVES. THE WOMENS GLOVES WERE FILTHY. STOCKING AND HANDLING MONEY. THEY ARE FILTHY

I usually enjoy shopping at Dollar General stores but this one was bad. Really understocked, messy & cluttered. Went on a Sunday before a predicted snowstorm so perhaps that was a factor. I worked in retail all my life though and thought the store needed serious attention. Didnt even look for some things I needed because aisles were so jammed and stock level was so abysmal.

We go here bc out of all the stores around us they always have the best deals on soda but the store could use a make over as it is very cluttered.

They have just about everything a Walgreens or CVS would have. Their prices are great. Be sure to download their app. They have tons of coupons that you can use on top of their already low prices. Also, they have an excellent food section. Stouffers lasagna, shrimp, Jose ole burritos, ice cream etc. They also have a GREAT cleaning supplies isle. Clothing, sweat pants, inexpensive medicine isle, pretty decent makeup too. I shop here lot. Oh and gift bags. NICE ONES for a fraction if the cost. I shop here a lot as you can tell. Keep your reciept. It has a $5 off coupon for Saturdays. ;)

This particular Family Dollar is the worst one in South Jersey. There are roaches in the food aisle, the bathrooms are gross, and the food is never checked for expiration date after being on shelves for months. I used to work at this location and was apalled by the total lack of care. Dorina, the manager, made fun of customers behind their backs, and when I spoke up about it she decided to cut my hours every week until I was left with only 4 hrs a week. There is a high turnover rate there because no one can really handle her abuse for too long before leaving

Nothings really a dollar except things you usually find for a dollar at other stores. Ive paid less in CVS and other drug stores for some of these items. $2.00 for a bag of nuts. Non name brand. Planters brand was even more expensive. You dig and you will eventually find a few things that are good buys. Usually miscellaneous items. If you want things that really cost a dollar, dont come here.
