I was given false information, I was questioned by an employee on a matter in which she shouldn’t be questioning me. I’m the customer and at the end of the day they didn’t even attempt to help me out after giving false info and making me drive to Chicopee for nothing.
I was Attended Professional...I purchased prescription readers for 168$ and moved away from over the counter readers which can range from 7 to 20$ and basically do just about the same thing but a more fashionable appeal (looks for this matter). This being said, i was instantly caught of gaurd with the quality of the case given to protect the 168$ readers, a very budget cut 1$ soap carrying container to say the very least.Youre better of sticking to over the counter readers & shy away from fashion and save yourself 150$ they do the same work with a better case cover.Really Wal-Mart how about an upgrade on the case? .Workers get 5 STARS*
The fact that this is one of the ONLY places that has hours from 10-2 when MOST people are WORKING is ridiculous. The doctor and the lady who do the eye exams are wonderful but why is the office open later than glasses and contacts? I can’t even pick up my order! Unless you don’t work or work nights, go to Target! They will accommodate all!
Walmart was always my go to place for contacts and eye wear. Today August 20, 2019 I found out that now i have to pay $129 for a new exam and $75. 00 for contact. A total of $201.00. By the way no eye exams on Tuesdays. The need for a health care plan and company that looks out for my best interest is crucial to me. Customers deserve better and Walmart only looks at their bottom line. #nolongerawalmartcustomer
Sueann was very professional, helped me with a previous problem, then helped me with a new pair of glasse, and was very patient and friendly. Definitely would recommend chicopee Walmart vision center to friends and family. Thank you Sueann for all your help. I can see better now😊
I just got some new glasses at the Walmart in Chicopee. The customer service from Sue Ellen was outstanding. If you go there, ask for her. She is patient, highly knowledgeable, and very helpful. I give Sue Ellen the highest remarks because her care for me was excellent.
I went there today and was told this opitcal center is no longer open and to use the Springfield store.
I had some serious allergy issues that interfered with wearing contacts and the female doctor was so helpful and you could tell she actually cared. I had to go back several times and try different things, and she gave me samples each time so I didnt have to buy something until I knew it worked. I cant really speak of the rest of the staff but the female doctor was amazing
Refused to read prescription off of previous glasses lens w/o an exam to establish the same prescription. Too bad Williamson v. Lee Optical applies to law, not store policy. Give Holyoke Optical a call, go local.
I had a great experience. Had my exam done for both glasess and contacts. The dr & staff were friendly & very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
You lost a customer for 3 reasons. I watched the vision specialist allow his daughter to steal your product. I watched your vision specialist allow his daughter to act innapropriatly within customer view which made me think twice about his ability to evaluate my eyes considering the lack of professionalism I was witnessing and finally with ample time to have been seen I was denied service so that your vision specialist could close shop a full hour and a half earlier. Worst experience ever.
I first went here for my eye examination in October of 2015. I picked out my desired glasses and had them mailed off. When first trying them on in the vision center I was overwhelmed by how much they distorted my vision. I was told to give them two weeks. The problem with these is I had no depth perception. I fell down an escalator at the mall before the week was over. Brought them back and the optician was extremely rude with me. He said I didnt wear them for two weeks like I should have. I explained that I could only wear them if I was sitting down watching tv. I cut hair for a living and drive to and from work. There is very little room for error. His attitude on the whole thing was snippy and short and I was extremely uncomfortable. He edited my prescription and within two weeks I had a pair I was comfortable with.I ended up losing my glasses in January of 17. I went back to the same place at the end of March because I knew my prescription was not expired. I made it a point to ask if the doctor had wrote down the edits he made before I picked out a pair of glasses. I was told yes so I went ahead and picked out my new pair. Two weeks later they were ready to be picked up.Today I went to pick them up. When walking up to the desk I saw somebody immediately coming my way to help me. Wrong. She ignores me completely and makes a phone call. I wait looking around for the next available and two of the girls were busy talking to each other. It took them a good two minutes to even look up at me. The girl who finally helped me looked at me from across the room and just stared. I walked up to her and told her I was there to pick up. She goes in the back and comes back out and sets me at a table. I put them on and they felt off. I start to tell her they do not feel right and she holds up a finger in my face and stares at the front desk where her coworkers are having a conversation. She ignores me and starts snorting laughing and going back and forth with them. At this point Im getting annyoyed. I explain that I got a prescription here previously but there were some changes that were made. After Im done with my spew, shes looking around at the computer screen and not me, she says Im sorry, what? This wouldnt be an issue if I knew she honestly didnt hear me. You could tell that she just didnt give a crap and wanted me to go away. When I am spending $150+ on glasses I just want them to be right and expect to be treated decent. I work in the hair industry and I know how difficult customer service can be. Just acting like you actually care goes a long way though. They have all the right tools for it to be a great place but I feel like the management is horrible. People come before cell phones. When you see somebody standing there acknowledge the person. The gossip stories can come in your down time not when you have customers. If you cannot hear a customer ask them to speak up before they have finished the entire story. And please, never stick a just one minute finger in somebodys face that is in the middle of talking to you.
I had no problems on my first visit, will return there, and refer them to others.
Waited on hold for 20 minutes and no one answered will be taking my business elsewhere
If I could put -1 stars I would.
Went in as a walk in, they had no appointment that day. Called to make an appointment waited on hold for 20 min.
They always close before theyre supposed to and when you need assistance they never want to be helpful in anyway.
The first time I visited I felt well looked after, but recently I took a friend. For personal reasons we arrived ten minutes after the indicated time and the man who was attending showed us I do not know why there were not more people waiting. After that, when choosing the glasses of my friends taste, she was attended by a young girl who, while attending to her, chewed gum, as well as two other young people who work there. Everyone chewing and talking. Several days later we went to collect the glasses and the same impolite man from the previous time, who was at the counter attending a customer on the phone never greeted us. This lasted more or less 15 minutes and when he finished he turned his back on us and went to attend another person without even telling us to wait. We left without the glasses, the same ones that I will go tomorrow. Im not back ... very bad service
