Its rare to find a beauty supply store where you dont feel watched soon as you walk in. The lady was so helpful and nice helping me pick out a wig. Trying on different ones until I found the right one. They have a lot of selection to choose from. They also carry all other beauty, hair, & jewelry needs.**Parking lot available.

I like this place but they didnt have one item I was looking for, I still will go there

Today, who I assume to be the owner (and older Asian gentleman) accused me of shoplifting...I was searching for a particular leave-in conditioner, so I was picking up products and reading the labels. When I finally found the one I was looking for, I turned around to head to another aisle and the owner spoke to me (from between the shelve of a different aisle). He asked me if I was going to buy the other product too. I had no clue what he was talking about and assumed that he was asking if I was going to buy another product I was looking at as well, so I responded no. He asked me the same question again, and I told him that I didnt understand what he was asking me. So, he walked down the aisle he was in and came to stand in front of me. He said, the one that you put in your pocket. I responded, I didnt put anything in my pocket. The lady working behind the register chimed in and said, Im pretty sure he saw you put it on your pocket, and rolled her eyes. I placed the product I had in my hand down on a shelf in front of me, and emptied my pockets which contained my wallet, keys, and phone, and then turned them inside out to prove that I hadnt taken anything. He put his hands up as if to gesture an apology and I promptly put my belongings back into my pockets and left.I have shopped at this store for years and have never experienced anything like this before. There is nothing that this could be labeled as other than racial profiling. There were other customers in the store at the time, but he chose to follow me, the only Black customer (from what I could see), in the store. After that experience, I will never spend another penny here.

Service was excellent! Employee encouraged me try this wig and I love it. Prices reasonable. Very kind people.

Be careful. Their face products are old. Not willing to exchange. No refunds, which is fine. But you can’t sell expired products and not offer to exchange. I recommend they do inventory on a more frequent basis. Will not be shopping here again.

Went to the Beauty Mart and was in the process of purchasing a hair product. The product had one price and the cashier wanted to charge me a higher price. He would not honor the price on the product. There are too many beauty supply stores.

3 stars for having a parking lot and descent stock. But...Wayyy over priced, found same exact product at the Shoppers next to it for -10 less..thats a hell of a difference. You would think because a particular store carries majority of a product, youll get a better bargain. Well its not always the case, you really gotta shoo around but then that intercedes the whole one stop shopping.

Great prices. Out of the 3 nearby beauty stores that are within 2 minutes of each other, this one had the most reasonable prices. Others sold overpriced old dusty hair. Staff was friendly as well.

Was racially profiled here. The man who I assume is the manager followed me around the store without cause. I confronted the man an he admitted to following me around the store as he claimed “was his job to do so”. Unfortunately their return policy does not allow refunds. But I will not spend anymore money supporting this business.

Clean. Good layout. Easy to find what you want. Ive always been greeted kindly when Ive entered, and have always found exactly what I went there to get.

Terrible customer service. An attendant was so rude to me. I was going to spend 150.00 on a wig, but after her being so rude and abusive, I decided not to spent even a coin there. Also overpriced!

Helpful staff. Slightly more expensive than the other two beauty suppliers near by, but they have a different selection.

The best beauty supply store I’ve ever been in. I wouldn’t go any where else and the owner and staff are great as well. If my wigs not in or they are out of them, they order them for me. Can’t but love them.

Never going back to this beauty supply in the shoppers plaza. I went to browse Marley hair (and makeup) and they have a huge selection of braiding styles. I walked around the whole store, which is pretty small with hair everywhere. I walk down the back aisle; there is no rope nor is there a sign indicating that this was the storage area. The employee at the front yelled at me to get from back there, telling me to just go, like I had taken something (I had a small pouch that only fits my wallet in my hand). Though she rolled her eyes, sucked her teeth, and was visually upset for whatever reason, I decided to just do as I was told, quickly leaving the aisle with an explanation. As I went to browse the makeup selection, I see and hear the same employee rudely complaining about me to other customers. Wow! It was totally uncalled for and super unprofessional! Her boss just stood there behind her, not even caring about her inappropriate behavior. Needless to say, I left with out buying anything, went across the street to Queens Discount and found what I was looking for, for waaay cheaper. The owner walked me through everything I needed and was so polite at QD. Lesson learned.
