As you can imagine parking can be pure madness. The street car drops off and picks up a block from here. This street kitchen is inconvenient for large groups, it is too cozy. On the other hand, Id visit again. The food is good, the latte even better. Enjoy.
This is a popular location! There was a short wait of 10 minutes to be seated. While waiting to be seated we looked over the menu. Once seats were available we placed our order at the counter and not even 10 minutes later our delicious breakfast was at our table! This is a place to check out if you’re ever in the over the Rhine area of Cincinnati.

Absolutely Amazing! Incredibly friendly staff, reasonable prices, unique offerings and specifically the world’s greatest nachos! Had the nachos for lunch, loved the flavor of the tortilla chips! Add in chicken and the rest of the toppings and it is outstanding. A wonderful place that isn’t anything like a retail chain, can’t wait to visit for breakfast!
Great food! Really good location. The menu is versatile but it comes together very well. I was told this was a place I had to try while in Cinci, they did not disappoint.
Definitely do not recommend this place. The service was terrible & we felt completely unwelcome. Food came out at completely different times causing half our party to be done eating before the other half even got their food.

Good selection of food. Tasty, fresh and local! Definitely worth another visit to try other things on the menu. We had tacos, chicken fajitas soup, the BLTEA, and a strawberry rhubarb empinade.

I love B&A. The staff is always so nice and friendly. They give my dog a piece of bacon. I love the walk up window as someone who is often in the area with my dog either at the park or at my office and looking for food.I did get the Avocado Chicken Club today and it was insanely salty. Since the other few times I’ve been there, I’ve loved the food, I’ll just assume it was an accident or one off. I’ll probably avoid that item in the future.
I ate my breakfast tacos so fast I didn’t even think to grab a picture. The food was simple enough, but tasted great. I’ll definitely be heading here for brunch in the future, it’s a decent value for the portion you get.
One of the best brunches Ive had in Cincinnati in a while. Service was great and the food was perfect. Ordered a Goetta up and go with the egg over easy. Egg was cooked to perfection and the sandwich was delicious. The pancakes were not overly sweet and the latte was well done. Well gladly be back again soon!

Traveling and finding food spots can be difficult and fun at the same time. We were looking for a breakfast spot that didnt come off as too green or organic, but still had an everyday type of breakfast.B&A is a perfect spot for a mix of comfort/mexican/healthy breakfast at a reasonable price. Both the regular biscuit and sausage gravy, as well as the chorizo gravy (this was FANTASTIC!), were fantastic and a great representation of comfort food. The AM Burrito, with chorizo and Verde salsa (house made), was also great as you could taste the individual elements but also the freshness the food offered. This is definitely a spot to recommend!Oh, and lets not forget the service! Friendly and engaging workers from their barista/servers straight to their cook who expedited our food! Truly an enjoyable experience! And the cappuccino/dirty Chai are top notch!Definitely will make our way here when we come to Cincinnati again. Theres a couple items on their lunch menu wed love to try!
A ton of very good food choices, so it works well whether youre a picky eater or want a bit of everything. Im an all day breakfast person, but the lunch selections are also great. Get there early on the weekends tho if you want to dine in with the shortest wait. Otherwise the carryout window may be a better option.
Ate here a couple of times, great service and good food...except for this one time. Dont get me wrong, the portions were great and the food tasted good the other times I came. Today, I got the Fried Chicken Avocado Club which was great, however, I did notice that halfway into the sandwich, there was a dead fly in it. I lost a bit of appetite but continued eating the other foods I ordered. I did not finish everything due to the appetite and I did not want to tell the staff only because I did not wanted to be that person. I would come here and still recommend the place!
Total disappointment, ordered via DoorDash reading all the good reviews and was so hopeful, nope ! Got the breakfast burrito no flavor whatsoever blandddd, my burrito consisted of only egg, potatoes and tortilla, with supposedly little hints of jalapeños, didn’t taste it at all, supposedly comes with queso and sour cream nope, nada .. ordered the churro pancakes was just cinnamon pancakes with the dolce, yet the photo on DoorDash shows two pancakes with whipped cream nope no cream, shows two pancakes received only one, (pancakes - plural) do better !
Tried Goetta for first time. Delicious. The Goetta Up & Go is a fantastic breakfast sandwich. Lovely staff!
We were downtown Over the Rhine at Findlay Market and were looking for somewhere for lunch. I couldnt believe all the restaurants that were closed for lunch. We passed B&A and gave it a try. We were seated immediately and ordered the fried chicken avocado sandwich and the BLTAE with fries. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding.
After a lot of research of where we should have brunch, we landed on B&A and we were definitely not disappointed. Its a small place in the up and coming OTR neighborhood with BIG flavors. From the fresh biscuits to the craft sodas, no one in our party had any complaints. Reasonably priced for the large portions you receive and very friendly staff. Its a table service hybrid type of restaurant. You order at the register when you first walk in and then they bring your food to you and keep up with keeping your drink full and table clear of extra plates as needed and they were always on top of it for the duration of our visit. Everything was clean, service was fast, and the food was great. Will definitely return when Im in the Cincy area again.
Wow!!! Delicious breakfast!! We had the Southern Belt, sausage patty, and french toast. My goodness - so much food but it was seriously one of the best breakfasts Ive ever had. I could eat those biscuits every day!! Fantastic service too!

Food was delicious and has a really tasty (and spicy, my fav!) Bloody Mary. I’m picky with them and it was one of my favorite ever! You order at the register then take a seat which was a little confusing to me. Being from out of town and not knowing, the Staff could have been a little more friendly / explain the set up but I figured it out!
The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. They had a wall with a large variety of crafted sodas, brews, and coffee drinks you could choose from. Food was pretty good but could of been more fulfilling. Ill just have to get something else next time. Staff very professional and attentive. Finding street parking on an early Sunday wasnt bad neither. Wasnt a bad experience for a first impression. Ill be back!
Very cute place with great food. Dining experience is stressful, the chaos of the staff impacts your dining experience as well as their “all working together” service model. You get seated and then have to go back up to the counter behind a line of guests waiting to be seated to order your food. No person is dedicated to serving you and they do not ask the line waiting to be seated to social distance outside. The food was great but the 12 minute wait for one coffee was not worth it. Having customers stand around your table while they wait was extremely off putting. This will be a take out only place for me.
We called an hour and half in advance for reservations and then when we got there, they sat 5 reservations after we arrived. We told the person on the phone that we could split our party of 7, when we got there we waited for 45 minutes and no one didn’t even ask us if we could split our party, instead they kept seating people who arrived after us. No apology offered or any kind of acknowledgment of their wrongdoing. We drove from Kentucky to come eat there but never again. Horrible communication and need to take responsibility when they treat the customer wrong. We finally left and they didn’t even make an effort to stop and ask us to make it right. They called 20 minutes later saying your table is ready.
You cant go wrong here. Ive tried the goetta, Southern Belt, chicken soup and red pepper soup.. everything was really great!
I wish I had tried this place sooner. There is not enough around us that is fast, even less that is inexpensive. So far I have only tried their tacos (some of the best tacos I have ever had) - Beef, Steak, and Chicken. They are all perfectly cooked, seasoned, and fresh. I cannot wait to try more of their menu.
Went for breakfast .Cant say I was impressed. I didnt order anything fancy.Buttermilk pancakes were biscuit-ish (meaning dry), and savory grits were cold.I didnt think the price to quality ratio was worth it.Hopefully things will get better
Taco week was the purpose and I thoroughly enjoyed them. The barbocoa was a little fatty, but full of flavor. The different tortillas were good, but I was most impressed with the crunchy taco.Outside of the tacos, I was impressed with the rest of the menu and cant wait to return and try some other southern favorites.

I just discovered this place, but its instantly become one of my favorites. As a vegetarian I am thrilled to have so many unique and delicious options.Edit: I keep coming back for more. This place has the best food! I finally just had vegetarian tofu chorizo tacos with Verde salsa, and its my new fave.

If you are considering going here, make sure you make a reservation! Neither their website, nor their door says anything about needing a reservation. I waited 20+ minutes all the way through the main line only to be told that I needed a reservation, what a waste of time :/It looked okay, but make sure you plan ahead so you dont waste your time like I did... and resteraunt: please post how to order, how to get a reservation, et cetera somewhere! Please...
I had Uber eats deliver 3 cheese omelet, and wheat toast to work. It was really good. I would go back and try other menu items anytime.
This place is kinda weird. So you seat yourself but you must have a reservation, they dont even bring you water or anything so then you have to get up and order everything you want at once basically which had everything come out at once for me too which filled the table quickly between me and my guest, and although the food was hot and fast it was incredibly bland, like they were afraid to even use salt and pepper. Heard great things but I wouldnt return with other brunch options available with a smoother experience too
We were visiting Cincinnati for the first time and stayed at a hotel a few blocks down. We walked to B&A for breakfast and when we arrived, we had thought that they were open for dine-in, but they were only doing take out. As we stood outside figuring out a plan B, the owner came outside and offered to wipe down some of the tables, as it had just rained, so we could still eat at the location and not have to take our food back to our hotel. They dried the tables, brought out umbrellas for the table and went so out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible. All of the staff was friendly and pleasant and the food.. AMAZING! My husband I are big foodies, and he said that their homemade biscuits were the best biscuits that he had eaten in his entire life! The southwestern omelet was super delicious and we were all stuffed at the end of our meal. If we ever come back through the area, we will definitely be stopping again. Highly recommend this spot!

Dined in for breakfast and everything was just okay. Churro style pancake isnt anything special, just a pancake with cinnamon and sugar on top. My scrambled eggs were under cooked while my boyfriends was overcooked. Overall the food was pretty basic.

Excellent food with a friendly staff. I like the craft sodas they do, and they always give my pup a piece of bacon when we bring her to the walk-up window. In fact, it’s about the only restaurant I can go to when I have my dog because we don’t need to go inside. That’s a big plus if you’re a dog-owner. Only thing I wish they’d do is extend their hours. When it’s time for dinner and we’re out, it’d be great to drop by if we were out walking the dog.

One of my favorite places to eat breakfast in Cincinnati. They make everything from scratch, and somehow the prices are still very respectable! One of my favorite things to get is their “Goetta Up and Go.” Their handcrafted sodas, coffees, and desserts are amazing as well. If you’re looking for an amazing breakfast with unbeatable prices, this is the place for you.
B&A was way more casual and laid back than I expected, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The simplicity of ordering at the counter (or window) makes it ideal for a quick bite. Theres plenty of indoor seating between two rooms, plus a patio, and the menu has a pretty extensive offering of breakfast and lunch options.

Disappointing. Super friendly service!!! But disappointing food. Mr. S got biscuits and gravy. He said the gravy was pretty flavorless and lacking sausage. Ms. S got the chorizo breakfast sandwich. Apparently the biscuit was delicious, but it was overwhelming - too much bread and too little chorizo.The kids were happy with their French toast, extra crispy potatoes and large slices of bacon. So that was a success.My meal was probably the best, but still not all that great. I got the breakfast quesadilla with Goetta and bacon. Can’t go too wrong with that, right? My complaints is that there was so much under seasoned egg that the great flavor of the Goetta and bacon got buried.Maybe we tried the wrong thing? I feel bad because the girl at the counter was extra sweet!
