The food was good but not overly memorable. I enjoyed my grapefruit mimosa and the french toast had good flavor. The bacon was not super thick and the poached egg was too runny. I would probably go again and try a different menu item. The decor was cool, the bathrooms were clean and the atmosphere was fun.
Such a cool find. Good location. The entire staff were super friendly. They had a very inventive menu. Everything sounded good, so I actually got a breakfast side (fruity pebble pancake) and a lunch (burger and fries). I tried a traditional drink ( bloody mary ) and their special rainbow mimosa ( A friend had shared a picture of one on social media a couple weeks ago and this was what drove me to try this place ). I will definitely be back. The seasoned fries are delicious!!!
The food here is amazing and the servers are always nice and helpful.I order food from this place at least one a week and everyone I have brought to try it out ends up loving it, which isnt a surprise seeing as the food and alcohol is great.Carryout is super easy and dining in can be a fine experience as long as you dont mind a lot of noise. But overall, I love this place ❤
My scrambled eggs were runny/undercooked. The oatmeal pie pancakes had great taste until I ran into runny batter and couldnt finish my uncooked pancakes. The coffee was just slightly more than lukewarm. Had to wait and ask another waiter for water refill and check. Very disappointing. Would not recommend or come back.If you decide to go anyway, be careful about where you park, especially on a Bearcats gameday. Cars were getting towed from all surrounding parking lots.
Always love coming here after a night shift or just for a great breakfast. I religiously get The Dirty, but have tried many dishes I like. The service staff is nice and quick to bring the food out!
Food and service worth the 30min wait. Great breakfast tacos, chicken and waffles, and frog eyes. Thanks to Hannah and cooks for making sure we got the frog eyes even though they were almost out. Definitely will return and recommend to others.
Amazing food. 4 of us went out to eat and only one person had any complains. My mom got the veggie omelette and really enjoyed it, so did her husband. He ordered the menage a trois, french toast, which he liked but didnt like the overly sugary syrup. I ended up getting the sausage skillet, it was pretty good but the sausage had a strange texture and consistency. My boyfriend got the cinnamon roll french toast which was really good, even to someone who doesnt like cinnamon. Someone else put in the reviews complaining about the metal chairs, they arent that bad unless youre gonna sit for 2 hours and talk. The restaurant is bright and modern, the bar looked. nice but we didnt go up to it. The fireplace was beautiful.
Ruben was very good, chunks of Corned Beef, needed more Saurkraut.
Our server was nice and patient, as was everyone else. The food was great. I had the breakfast tacos and they were perfect. My wife got an omelet and she loved it.There are several other things on the menu I have to try. We will be back soon.
Ive dined at a lot of restaurants, and this was by far the worst service I have ever received.I visited on 07/03/21 with a party of 2 people. The restaurant was busy, but not overwhelming. The host looked around the corner of the hostess station and told us it would be a 20-30 minute wait to be seated. Im not sure how he came up with that number from a visual assessment of the restaurant rather than simply looking at his seating chart which he didnt do. Nonetheless, I put my name and number down and I was told I would receive a text when my table is ready. Not even 30 seconds after we left the restaurant, we received a text that our table was ready. The host had absolutely no idea what he was doing and he just had the cookie cutter 20-30 minute wait in his arsenal when he didnt actually know how long the wait was.So, we walked back in and a different host was at the station. He helped the people in front of us and after that group had been helped, he told us hell be with us in a minute. After he told us that, he preceded to walk to the bar about five feet away and start folding silverware. The silverware was more important than the customer. After a few moments, the original host returned to the station and he did not even apologize for the mistake he made with the seating arrangement. Not a big deal, we thanked him and he showed us to our table. After we were seated we sat there for about five minutes and no waiter/waitress approached our table. However, three different waitresses did walk past our table and noticed that we had not yet been helped.Again, a little frustrating but not a big deal, its busy I get it. We waited for fifteen minutes after that and nobody approached our table. Numerous waitresses passed by our table but did not bother to help us. Fifteen minutes was a long enough wait, so we had to get up and go request table service. After we returned to the table with a waitress, she informed us that she was new and it was only her first week. She was very kind and asked us if we had any questions about he menu. We did have a few questions regarding the menu, but she was unable to answer any of our questions.I understand that being a waitress is a very difficult job, it genuinely is. If a waitress is brand new to a restaurant, they should be properly trained and if they are within their first week of employment they should be shadowing an experienced waiter/waitress until they are confident in their ability to provide good service to the customers. The food was average at best, but the food could have been the best in the world and I would still rate HangOverEasy 1/5 because of how terrible the service is at this restaurant.I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND HangOverEasy unless you have hours on end to spend sitting around waiting to be helped.
It was good but just more of a place for hot drunk white girls to go to after a night out
Great people and atmosphere. This place smelt great.. didnt have anything to eat here yet since I was Dashing. Definitely will try this place out while Im visiting The Nati
First time here. Our waitress Brittany was excellent. For not her we wouldve left. My hubby ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was listed as honey and spicy but the spice tasted like Franks hot sauce. The chicken was small and looked like it was the Tyson animal nuggets. He said the waffles were very good. I had the omelet and what I read to be an oatmeal pancake but the pancake had oatmeal clusters on top of a regular pancake.. The drinks we ordered were long Island Iced Teas but shouldve been called Sweet n Sour on ice bc there was no alcohol in the drink. Then the bartender switched it to a margarita and that was just as bad. It didnt look like there was a manager on duty. The atmosphere was pleasing and spacious. The ladies bathroom was clean. I guess its an ok place being around a college.
Amazing food. The french toast was excellent. This is our new breakfast spot!!!
Wow this place was good! We had The Dirty and the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. The food was amazing! Our server was super friendly helping explain what Goetta was.
Great food! I had the sausage skillet and my wife had the chicken and waffles. Service was awesome!
Delicious biscuits and gravy! The French toast & pancakes are also really good! Busy on a Saturday morning for sure.
Great place for breakfast on game day or any day! I recommend joining waitlist on Yelp. Ive always had great service and delicious meals!
Everyone who uses this website to review a restaurant is a total A**hole, I’d rather **** my own **** than **** **** a ****** **** ***** pancake.
Great service and amazing food! They have breakfast menu options for those who like it simple and those who are more adventurous. Love this place
I went for breakfast and sat at the bar. The bartender was sweet and provided great service. I enjoyed the breakfast except the potatoes( I like them a little crunchy ). I also thought that 2.99 was a little too pricey for an added pancake.
Heard around town that they are hiring so i walked in and asked how to apply. Was told to apply online so i tried and there was no option to apply online on their website or any job site so i went back in and they gave me a paper application they had readily available the whole time. So once i completed the application in-store i went to hand my application to the manager and she completely shrugged me off like i didnt exist and said theyre not accepting paper applications. So its my fault they have paper applications available?😂😂 right lady. Shes very flirtatious with her staff as well, must be a real professional (oops)
In a word…….INCREDIBLE.Other than being friendlily accosted upon entering by drunken college boy-children who were still drinking from the night before, everything else was GREAT.Multiple no-nonsense Irish Coffees accompanied an off the menu omelet order for brunch, where the kitchen had to think fast on their feet. They never missed a beat. Neither did our beautiful server !Cannot WAIT to return.
Food was fresh, service was friendly and very prompt for being as busy as it was. Great breakfast and 2 of my friends thought the same thing.
Amazing food and finally a mimosa done right with the correct octane rating! Best brunch! We will be coming back for sure!!
Had a 38 minute wait. I suggest getting on the wait list via Yelp. The food was delicious; great service and atmosphere. Ill be back.
This downtown restaurant is very modern, clean, and has friendly staff. Super cute. The menu items are what youd see on a regular menu, but this place manages to put their own delicious twist on every single one of them. I love the reinvented biscuits and gravy, pancakes, eggs benedict and more. I had the eggs benedict and it was made with unique ingredients that went together perfectly. I would highly recommend!
Waiter barely spoke. Had to get my own menu. Ate the sausage. Later hurled it up. Went to check out back patio, stepped in giant whole in the floor covered with plastic. Wont be back again.
Its an expensive, but phenomenal breakfast joint. Best breakfast in town and worth every penny.
I highly highly recommend eating at this place. Breakfast was phenomenal! If youre in Cincinnati this is a must stop. The food is absolutely delicious. For my family of 5 we ate for 44 bucks. Nice hole in the wall restaurant. Well come back if in town!
The wait was a bit long but the atmosphere and food made up for it !
Great place to have brunch with friends. The menu has some unique items, with a large variety, and fun names for the items to boot! Great atmosphere as well.
Stopped in here just before taking off back home. Had a really good breakfast quesadilla and some pretty good coffee.
We were sat quickly and the service was awesome! The food was delicious. They also serve mimosas. The only negative is finding parking. Will definitely return.
Such an awesome place for brunch. The drinks were really good, staff was friendly, and the food was soooo good!!! I love the location and the decor inside make for a very pleasing experience. Cant wait to go back.
This place is awesome and I hope we get to go back one day. We had a great server, food was excellent, and good priced as well. On our next time through I hope we get to go again!
Delicious Bloody Marys at a reasonable price for $5. Tots are crunchy and amazing! Parking lot across the street was super convenient. So many delicious options, it was really hard to decide which one to try first. I got the Cleveland Steamer burger- yum! Very juicy with a perfect toasted bun. Our server was great as well!
Stopped at this place randomly after handling some business downtown. It was delicious. Great vibe and great service. My wife consider the omelet to be the best she ever had, which is offensive to me, because I make omelets and consider myself to be a master of eggs. Thanks to this, I know longer cook for my wife and I now owe Postmates $1000.Our server was quick, punctual, and we both enjoyed our breakfast and mimosas. Definitely stop here for a bite. Its great unless you pride yourself on your ability to cook eggs, in which case, its humbling.
Love everything about it. Clean friendly food was great my waiter was even better. I love how he checked in but let us eat and wasnt in our faces every 2 seconds like most places. Food came back good no problems there. Bathrooms was clean. I give 5 stars
This H.O.E meal was amazing and delicious! It was definitely worth the wait for our group. Sloppy Seconds were cooked to perfection and the mimosas were the right ratio. Love the random coffee mugs.
Amazing food yesterday 4 breakfast our server was excellent! Always clean and such a positive place! Highly recommend
Great food! Would recommend there is something for everyone here.
My first time there and the food was really good
The service was extremely slow. The potatoes was cold but they fixed the issue. I took my mom and sister for breakfast at this place because they wanted to try something new to them. The food was fair. They enjoyed laughing at the different names of the food. Very casual atmosphere and uniquely decorated.
I remember when I used to come to this restaurant back in the day, and i used to get stared at all the time and felt very uncomfortable. However, once I started coming back I felt a better experience … Must’ve gotten new workers.Cole was very nice I appreciate how they treat you dining in. And I will definitely be coming back the food is awesome and worth the price !!Highly recommend go there now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Food is great. It was just too noisy and had to keep asking for coffee refills. Who serves breakfast and doesnt keep the coffee cups full? Will get it to go from now on.
On a Sunday morning with a group of 9 we waited for a table but it was worth it. Highlights.... Pork belly Benedict... the dirty... good coffee... you must have patience when you are a large group.... friendly service all around.
One of the best breakfast spots I visited as far as taste is concerned.
The food was excellent but they tried to scam my credit card an when I said something they tried to play if off I would recommend that you pay cash if you go there.
The food was phenomenal, and staff was very friendly. Gabe was a great and attentive server!
A little pricey, but if you get the right menu items they are super tasty
Great place, atmosphere and staff! Loved all my food and the bloody Mary which you can get spicy
Service was slow and unattentative. I took forever to get 2nd round of drinks. Avocado toast was not toasted it was a soggy Sandwich.
This was my first visit to Hangover Easy and it did not disappoint! There is a small pay-to park lot across the street and the far and few between parking on the street is metered. You can pay with card on both options. We arrived at 2:50pm or so on a Sunday, and we were told there was a 20 minute wait. We ended up waiting probably closer to 40 minutes, but no big deal we were just excited to try the food. We were sat at about 3:35 or so, they closed at 4 and we felt a little rushed.. On the bright side, we got our food and drinks really fast.I tried the CBH, it was a breakfast hash with corned beef, home fries, queso and two eggs on top. I also got a Kentucky Sunrise. Both were SO good! And the pricing on the drink was very fair at only $6.Moral of the story, definitely worth checking out! Id just recommend going before 2:30pm on the weekend to ensure you have time to wait to be sat and still have time to enjoy your meal.
Service killed the vibe bc bartender was so indifferent and disinterested. I like this place, but that was a negative experience today.
2 cokes and an orange juice were pricey. Fountain drink cokes were $3.00 each and orange juice was $3.25. Avocado toast was very soggy and not appetizing. Chicken and waffles was alright but nothing special. Can’t get over spending about $10.00 for 3 non-alcoholic drinks (as much as our meals). Ridiculous.
The best breakfast spot in Cincinnati. Top notch service and great food. Get there early and youll have no wait.
Ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and seasoned fries through door dash along with other coworkers. The food arrived cold, but my food was the worse. The chicken was hard and rubbery. You couldnt even chew it,it definitely tasted old or precooked and reheated.Very disappointed, due to the great reviews that were given.
Alcohol and waffles. Talk dirty to me! I love this place
This is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in Cinci. I haven’t eaten here in person since the pandemic, but getting delivery from hangover easy is something I look forward to on the weekends. The chicken and waffles is great! And I love the biscuits! I literally dream about the frog eyes (biscuits and gravy) - it’s so good. I think the prices are decent for the quality and portion sizes as well. I have nothing but good things to say!
There were numerous tables open and no bar stools at the bar to sit and the wait was 45 minutes!? I guess they cant put up barriers to socially distance people or they dont want the business. We ended up leaving.
Great food! Sausage skillet was fresh, filling and my over easy eggs were perfect! Prices are so reasonable. My favorite place for breakfast!
Great food, excellent service. Enjoyed my first goetta. Delicious!
Amazing and awesome food. Staff was great and the place was great to sit in
Great spot for sit down breakfast near the University of Cincinnati. Indoor outdoor seating available
We were only in town for the weekend but made sure to check this place out. Cool atmosphere and solid food.
The server was FANTASTIC ! FOOD WAS PERFECT ! And best of all we had our dog with us on the patio and halfwsy through breakfast they brought our dog a bowl of ice water because it was warm out !!!!!!! OMG THIS PLACE ROCKS !!!!! And it was our FIRST TIME THERE SO THEY DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT US ! IF ONLY OTHER RESTAURANTS COULD FOLLOW THEIR LEAD !!!! GREAT JOB EVERY EMPLOYEE AT THAT RESTAURANT! YOU SHOULD BE PROUD TO WORK THERE !!!!
That breakfast burrito has mostly potatoes in it. Should be a potato burrito in my opinion. Barely any meat and eggs. Management was cool about me returning it but found out this is how the burritos are made, mostly potatoes.
Very nice friendly staff. The portion of food is off the chart more than enough. I was happy.
+ Friendly staff who came to check in on us often. Genuinely chill people.+/- Menu available online: good or bad depending on how well you can handle/read a screen.+ Nice casual atmosphere- metal chairs arent comfortable for ditto g in for long- I was unimpressed by the food but was decent for the price.
Delicious, great service, will definitely come back
I signed up for the waiting list the time was less than what they suggested the greeters/ Hostess was very enthusiastic and the waiters were great.
Great comfortable place with excellent innovative food.
