We recently went to the shop to pick out something we could make into a centerpiece for my moms birthday. There was such a great assortment of wood to choose from. Marcus gave us his expert insight on what would be unique and special for my mom, and our interaction with him was only good. I could tell that he really enjoys what he does, and the centerpiece looks great on the kitchen counter.

Great place for live edge slabs. Marcus was very helpful really helped me out on a project when things went sideways. Call ahead and make sure he knows your coming and you won’t have any of the problems some of the other reviewers have posted.

Very friendly owner. Caters to a specific clientele, probably the largest selection of live edge slabs in the area and other rough hewn domestics. everything appears to be cut and dried onsite. I look forward to having a project that needs his product again. Thank you!

My husband and I went in today looking for wood for shelves. Marcus was so nice and so helpful. He answered all our questions and we enjoyed talking to him so much. Thanks so much Marcus we can’t wait to install them.

No masks on staff. Really disappointed with how we were treated today; we have a considerable budget which we will now take elsewhere. If youre going to have your doors open to the public then your space should be able to accommodate the public, not just men in workboots with pickup trucks.

Marcus is a rare find in the region. A true wood expert. I tell anyone in pursuit of good quality large slabs that Marcus is one of the most efficient operations around, with his vacuum kiln. He also generally has a good inventory of reclaimed material.

Bought a couple slabs and couldnt be happier with the selection. The guy who runs the place is very helpful and knowledgeable. Made a repeat customer out of me.

Owner was totally rude. We walked into the store. He came in and said only by appointment. The door signage didnt have this listed. Told him site says open 9 -5. He argued and said he didnt want our business. Told us we dont just walk in to a business. The door was unlocked. After leaving, I went to their website. Not easy to find but in store section it does say that but not on google search. Situation could have been handled differently and policy explained as opposed to being a complete a-hole. WILL NOT GET OUR BUSINESS AND HOPE OTHERS FOLLOW!

If you are a wood worker or custom furniture maker, interior decorator etc.. go see Marcus at Ohio Wood Connection. literally tons of locally harvested and milled hardwoods. The largest assortment of live edge and salvaged barn materials I have ever seen. Seems to specialize in Local black walnut. Amazing inventory.

A hidden gem for sure. A very unassuming exterior but filled with treasures inside. Owner was nice as could be too.

Fascinating place. Great assortment of wood. Although, the hours posted on google are misleading. The owner said he only sees people by appointment or on Saturday from 9:00-12:00.

Drove all the way out on a Saturday right in the middle of their business hours only to find the place closed. No sign, no answer on the phone- I even left a message and never heard back.Complete waste of time. Don’t bother
