Do NOT come here for passport photos! The lady was very strict. My children and I had to have our passport photos done and the first thing she told my son when he went in front of the camera and smiled for the camera was “DONT SMILE.” My son was caught off guard and thought he immediately did something wrong(he’s young) and was taken off guard after her comment and felt uncomfortable. She said no smiles allowed for children because the passport protocol is for no smile or only a slight smile. So she just tells tells children not to smile because I don’t think she even wants to deal with trying to get a natural smile out of kids(which my kids are great at a natural or slight smile). I’ve had my children’s passports taken in the past (somewhere else) and a slight smile or regular natural smile IS accepted! She came across as rude about it and didn’t even want to attempt or try to obtain a good photo. So at that point she had my children terrified to smile. By the time my daughter went up next for her photo, she didn’t even attempt to smile and looked COMPLETELY miserable in her photo. My daughter is very expressive so when someone tells her not to do or act in a certain way she takes it as acting to the extreme and she definitely made sure she wasn’t smiling;but then ended up looking so miserable in the photo that I had to ask the lady to retake it. Which she didn’t and said that is how they are supposed to be,etc. I told her that is not even how my daughter looks with a regular unsmiling face and that my daughter looked too miserable in that photo and she STILL didn’t want to retake another more natural looking one. So I still had to pay for each passport photo even though I was unhappy. I ended up having to go somewhere else to retake them. I DO NOT recommend having passport photos taken at Village Postmark.

I went to have some papers notarized. I was greeted with friendly service immediately. I was helped quickly but also with a detailed eye to make sure the paperwork was in proper order before continuing. The woman who helped me was very thorough. She really knew her California state law and how to properly notarize. I would highly recommend this place. Happy experience!!
