Great country store! They have a variety of local items. Simple Natural ice cream🙌 It’s the best! The owner was delightful. They have different food trucks set up and ice cream truck out back. Picnic tables in the back area along with a tree swing. It is worth a stop to check them out.

I was just here with my wife getting some breakfast from the Brown Bag Bagels food truck, and we decided to browse the store while we were waiting for our order. I walked in and said hello to the gentleman at the register who instead of talking with his patrons or asking if they need any help he stalks them around the store. Nearly every aisle he was there with us just starring at us and said nothing. Like a weirdo. I was going to buy one of the cute local mugs they sell there until I turned around and noticed he moved even closer to us! Curious if yall do this to all new folks that walk in your store or just a POC 🤔 I dont know if this was the owner or what but way to creep your patrons out and make them want to never step foot in your business again.

The man who attends the store is very angry, he does not give a good service, I will never go Back in there.

First time in with my 15 month old since my parents just moved here no one wearing mask not even the worker or owner! There store is fasitnacting all local made items but he acted as if he didnt want me in there didnt speak was so very rude will not be returning -EVER!!!

Very friendly service and professional staff. Full of local/regional goods such as pottery, art, shirts, hats, craft beer, wine, snacks, and bottled soda. Owners are local and very knowledgable about the area.

It is what it is, an original old laid back country style corner store with a great local historian, some local and state history displays, a little bit of all your grocery and household basics, plus some unique local made products to purchase and enjoy. Its just a cozy place to hang out on the front porch of during the fall while enjoying a cup of hot cider and waving to your area neighbors passing by. Hope to see you all there for the pumpkins.

This is a cute wonderful store full of local/regional items! Pottery, art, shirts, hats, craft beer, wine, snacks, bottled soda. The two guys working were proud of their store and it was obvious. The perfect stop on our road trip. They also had a food truck outside with tacos! Gas and propane, too.

Interesting place. Very southern. Kind of gift shoppe rather than country General Store. Great assortment of beer.be prepared to pay the price but theres convenience and nostalgia youre paying for. Great choices of food vendors. They could use some additional seating for when food vendors are there.

This is must-visit for anyone that lives in the area or is passing by. Theyve recently expanded to start selling beer and they have a great selection for a corner store! They occasionally have variety packs as well. Sodas, single beers, and snacks can be consumed on-site in the sitting area inside or on the porch. C.E. Barnes hosts events frequently including food trucks, wine/beer tastings, and open air markets. They do a great job keeping up with the changing world and offering something for everyone!

Recommend going here at least twice. Once for the decor and second time to purchase some good items - the drink selection is great. The t-shirts and printed items are unique. Antiques are everywhere, a blast from the past! Go here soon!

Love this country store from when I first moved here and Mr. Charles gave me tomatoes, to the new transformation. Greatest store ever.

Its an historical site. Mr. Charles E. Barnes passed on in 2007. His wife followed this year (2018). Store is now run by son & grandson. Contents modernized but building is still authentic.

The store was fine to me until the young man was disrespectful. I said damn he didn’t say sir please watch your language, no he said watch your mouth. But that’s ok if he wants to be that way he’s going to be like that too the wrong person one day where it won’t end well

I would give 0 if i could. The owner is disrespectful. They have old fashion pumps so you have to pay inside. I attempt to pump my gas and he grabs my arm takes my card sticks his finger in my face a d proceeds to tell me to go inside 1st. After I confront him about the unnecessary man handling. He throws my card in my face and says leave now before you tote a bullet

Very nice country store to get gas, chat and get a quick snack or coffee. Food trucks often there early in morning for breakfast and late for dinner since this is on the corner of a busy intersection.
