My step father’s stepfather bought a custom guitar from Augie and I inherited it. The sound of this Tenor Guitar cuts through like no other acoustic instrument I’ve ever heard which is saying a lot as a guitar major. The sustain on a plucked note is beyond impressive and sonically it feel different against my chest as it resonates. I use a cello tuning and can also play banjo notation and jazz pieces too. Ive owned my CM-36 (0470) since 1978. Its the only guitar ive owned since then. I bought it in a music store on the north side of Atlanta, testing harmonics and played notes at the 12th fret to a comparable Guild. I have been extremely happy with the tone and the action. Ive played folk and jazz on it, at college, at church, at home, and at open mike events.I salute Mr. LoPrinzi and his craftsmanship.
