Great selection of local cheeses and much more. Nice large, open, spotless shop. My selections turned out to be very tasty indeed! View the old bank vault, their counter is made of the safe deposit box faces. Really creative.

Lovely shop in Cleveland heights, persons working there were very helpful. great variety of cheeses and charcuterie board accessories. I got their beachy head goat cheese which was divine, along with some fig jam and one of their cheese sampler platters. Also lots of parking options for free if you turn down the cul-de-sac adjacent to the shop.

Outstanding tripple creamy and buttery cheeses…but when aged 90+ days. Some even better when past their ‘best buy’ date. My favorite Elmstead Ash made from Cow milk. Clearly goes best with Bordeaux or Pinot noir / burgundy wine and toasted or fresh bread.

What a lovely new store. I just want to hang out inside, its beautiful. When I came home from visiting it I told my wife I wanted to move within walking distance to Lee Road. The cheeses are phenomenal and the non-cheese products are tastefully curated. They have excellent breads, pickled items, crackers, rillettes, etc. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and happy to talk cheese or anything else with you. I suggest getting one of their sampler boards- it is a small tasting board of four of their house made cheeses. What at treat! I also purchased some of their cottage cheese. Wow, I think I can say Id never had cottage cheese before yesterday. Forget everything you think and feel about cottage cheese. This, with a light drizzle of honey, is heaven.I wouldnt want to mess with this store because its perfect, but maybe they could open a wine & beer tasting room next door? Id love to buy a cheese sampler, a crusty baguette, and a jar of rillettes and then sit down with a Belgian dubbel or a Flemish sour ale and relax for an hour. Id never want to leave.

I’ve visited this store on multiple occasions, and am consistently met with the same high quality experience. Marchant manor always has a variety of their own handmade soft cheeses, a curated collection of other local and national artisinal hard and soft cheeses, as well as a healthy stocking of Cleveland and Ohio local artisinal brands of honey, charcuterie products (including Saucission!), crackers, freshly baked bread, fermented foods like saurkraut and kimchi, and more. If you’re new or hesitant to commit to a full wedge of new-to-you cheese, the weekly grazing plates are a great price ($12-$15) and allow you to sample 4-5 cheeses. More than just a shop to fill your charcuterie board, I’ve been delighted to use this shop to stock my pantry with local goods (and even local butter). The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and if your ever get a chance to join a tasting class-it’s not to be missed!

The store is so charming and clean. The wooden floors are gorgeous reclaimed oak. The space used to be a bank, and they’re using the old metal safe deposit boxes as a countertop. A big walk-in vault is on display as well. The pickles and olives are displayed in beautiful antique furniture. We feasted on sourdough bread, soft artisanal cheeses, Serrano ham and chorizo. It was heavenly! You can also buy handmade cheese boards and knives. They sell cheese assortments if you can’t decide what to buy. We are definitely going back!
