Loyal customer for years; wouldnt call anyone else. Air conditioner blew a condenser cap on one of the hottest days of the year. Called first thing in the AM, and fixed by 5 PM same day. Was pleasantly surprised they gave me a same-day appointment on what Im sure was a very busy business day. Technician Quincy was polite, pleasant and patiently explained his work. Their prices are competitive and fair. Very satisfied customer!

Melton put a new split unit in for us. The techs that put it in Richard and Brandon were great. The only sign they were there was my new unit! My wife was at home during the install. She said they both were very professional and courteous. The install was done very neatly and tidy. Will be using Melton from here out!

Very impressed with the quick response and professionalism of Melton. We were scheduled at noon, and I got a call an hour before asking if they could come early. I was at the grocery store, and wasn’t able to be at my house early. That was not a problem and they arrived right on time at noon. I used to work in the commercial/industrial HVAC industry and as a leader in the service industry, I look for specific actions by technicians and representatives of service companies. Melton checked all of these boxes. The technicians that showed up (John and Quincy) on both the PM and the repair call were professional and knowledgeable. They knew why they were there, they were familiar with the equipment, and they explained everything very well. Different options were presented and they left detailed notes that covered work even outside the scope requested that was taken care of because it was just the right thing to do for a good technician. The back office support was outstanding as well, great communication and scheduling, as well as a detailed and accurate estimate of the costs. In addition to having service performed, Eric Collins (Comfort Consultant) showed up to propose long term solutions. Eric listened, something that not many do these days, and based on his listening, he proposed multiple solutions that fit different budget scenarios. Again, very knowledgeable of equipment and application. I highly recommend this company.

We had our AC serviced today and Kaine was our tech. Kaine was excellent, very nice and professional, answered all my questions, worked hard out in the sun cleaning our outdoor unit, dealt politely with my yippy dog and all in all he definitely earned our repeat business. In fact I went ahead and did their deal where I prepaid at a discount for our fall service based on todays experience. The attached photo doesnt do his work justice without the before shot but Im embarrassed to admit our outdoor unit was super dirty and he had to work hard to get it looking this clean!

We used Melton Heating and Air to totally redo our heat and air system including units and duct work. The biggest problem we have is the unit in the attic. That was probably not the best area for them to choose to put the unit because there is no air flow causing the unit to sweat and leak water constantly. Well not only was that more than likely not a good area to instal that unit but they also did not do the best at deciding how to do the drain thus causing it to clog all the time making the water level hit the plunger disabling the unit. This happens all the time! So we try to clean out the drain tube but its not that easy the unit is just not set up to drain, so we are constantly calling them to fix it.I will shout out to the service techs though. They are always fast and efficient.

The technician who visited my house came to perform routine maintenance and was very thorough, spending about an hour on each of our HVAC units. He discovered one problem with capacitors in our AC unit and quickly replaced them. The entire time he was courteous and explained exactly what he was doing. I have used Melton Heating and Air for 15 years and have never been disappointed by them.

I woke up early Wednesday morning to having no heat I was searching online for someone to come out a check my unit out I found the ad for Meltons HVAC clicked on it to schedule an appointment mind you this is at 3:30 in the morning when I scheduled this I went to work at about 7:30 a.m. they were calling to schedule an appointment for me made an appointment for 3:30 that afternoon and when I got home the technician was there his name was Mike. Mike was very friendly very professional show me numerous problems that I have with my unit by the time I spent money Im fixing the old one which was pretty much obsolete I was better off just to buy a new one Im very pleased with Meltons HVAC they came to my rescue and no time flat thank you guys so much not only are they going to put me in a new unit they also left a space heater because my auxiliary heat on the old unit was almost shot they went the extra mile to take care of me and I thank them very much.

Melton Heating and Air have maintained the five units in our home for over 20 years. They are quick, dependable and friendly. They recently suggested we change out a unit for a new Trane. It is fantastic and has lowered our monthly cost. We also have a wonderful Mitsubishi unit they installed that performs so well. We had a Melton Technician named Kaine to our home performing a routine maintenance. During the inspection he encountered a snake that had wrapped itself around our vent a had broken it. Although he was apprehensive he took it upon himself to remove the snake, saving us from having to call a pest handler.WELL DONE MELTON AND KAINE!

I asked how much to find out whats wrong with my trane furnace. They told me $89. They came out and told me I needed a new motherboard, about a $500 repair.Two or three weeks later they finally came out and put it in. Then they said it wasnt working. It had electricity, the right amperage but they didnt know why it wasnt working and told me I needed a whole new unit. This was a Trane furnace that was only 5-6 years old. I asked about what they did so far. They said they would take back the motherboard with no charge only the $89 service call. We called another company who told me there was no reason the unit couldnt be fixed and was way too new to need replacement. When we cancelled the install they began aggressively pursuing the cost of the motherboard. We told them cone get it and they want almost $250 to come get it. I STRONGLY dont recommend this company. I will not pay them for NOT diagnosing the problem and I will not pay them for NOT fixing our unit. We pay our bills here but we will not be taken advantage of. In my opinion they could have fixed this unit but really just wanted to make a $4,000 sale. Thats how much they wanted.
