So visiting cocoa beach pier was disappointing. We thought it was similar to the Hollywood boardwalk in SoFlo but we were wrong. It has only two restaurants abs one shop. The good thing was that the beach was right next to the pier so we were able to dig our toes in the sun. We did have lunch at Pelican’s Bar and Grill which offers outdoor wearying while enjoying a nice view of the beach. Also, because it is owned by west gate resorts, you will have their employees try to get you toAttend their timeshare presentations offering gift cards and light breakfast, the good thing is that the gentleman that reached out to us was not too pushy and didn’t cross our boundaries.

Absolutely gorgeous beach! Get there early for good parking and umbrella and chair rentals. The pier is a short walk away with a great bar and good food. What a view at the end of the pier with a Tiki Bar and clear blue water as far as the eye can see. A bit farther up the coast is Cape Canaveral, where you can see rocket launches. Very beautiful and clean beach. Lifeguards and park workers were friendly. If youre lucky, youll get to see dolphins (there was one swimming around during my visit). Definitely going to be returning!

Coco Beach is a cool spot to spend some time at the beach. The water is warm here today like 84 degrees probably. There is a spot right under the pier to rent surfboards to have a bit of fun. $20 for 3 hours isn’t bad! Had a great time out surfing. It is a bit crowded out there but lots of room to spread out. It reminded me a lot of the same kind of scene as Huntington Beach.

This is a must stop location if visiting in the area. There is a charge for parking in the designated lot and a charge to walk to the end of the pier (if eating at the restaurant, the receipt allows you to enter the boardwalk). The food is great, even better when the view is the ocean! There is a cute gift shop and other options for ice cream/snack. Best day trip option if staying at our oceanfront condo in Royal Mansions. (VRBO 4749786 “Endless Summer”). Walk is about 2 miles south on the beach... absolutely gorgeous!

I first heard of Cocoa Beach when I was young and watched I Dream of Jeannie. Wanted to come and visit ever since. The beach is nice, but it was too cold to swim when we came. Okay. I parked in the parking garage today. Paid $9.00. But I got citation for parking my car reverse. If your not from here please pull your car forward when you park. There is no sign where I park unless it’s written in small letters somewhere in first floor. Sucks. That’s how they get the tourist money. I’m not from here. In from California where rules are written in pay stations so you can read it. There is no sign as well at pay stations where it says you can’t park reverse. I just paid $38.00. That’s not cool at all.

The pier is lovely. It doesn’t open until a few hours after sunrise so the beach is pretty quiet in the morning. That being said, why do humans litter and trash the place at night? The city needs an early morning beach cleaning crew cause the litter is horrible. They’ve got turtle nesting protected space (the orange roped areas) but I’m also sure they need signs so humans respect the closures.

Spent the day here with the Wife, kids and grandkids. $8 and change for Nathans hot dogs ar one restaurant up to mid $20s for a stake at another one. We went to the sit down indoor place had the shrimp and crab dip with chips. The chips seemed to be based but the dip was amazing. I got the fish and chips. Very good crispy hot fish and good battered potato. Not really a French fry but close enough. The pineapple ale was very refreshing. The tuna poke was very good. The wife really enjoyed it and the coconut rice that came with it. The chicken tenders are boneless chicken wings they had were not much to my liking. They werent bad I just didnt care for them. So if you get sea food there youll be good to go. Theres lots of booze if you drink. If youre just looking for a nice beach drink try the pineapple ale.For the beach we rented an umbrella and a couple chairs $30 for the day. If you forget anything of course there are shops nearby and you can buy anything you need. There are lots of rentals easily available right there on the beach surfboards chairs cabanas anything you might need and they will set it up for you. The good place to take your family have some fun enjoy the sun.

Cocoa Beach Pier is very commercialized, initially it has a few souvenir shops, and a bar/food area which you need to walk through to get to the far end. We wanted to walk out to the end of what is a short pier, but were surprised to see that the end of the pier is completely taken over by a Tiki Bar that we were being asked to pay to go to. I think not! The best thing about the pier was the information boards about Cocoa Beach history, containing some great photo’s from decades past.

You can walk around and soak up the sun and wind even without consuming at restaurants.Pier wont open until 11am sharp but people are already at the beach before then even on a weekday. You can park at street to pay by hour (come early) or pay $20 to access the center lot. Pier has an old-fashioned service stand with salespeople at the entrance. My wife and I drove up from south Florida today looking to buy a house in the area. We had never been to cocoa beach before so we wanted to get a feel for the area. We tried to go to the Pier to eat and there were no metered parking spaces available but yet there was a huge open parking lot taking up all the available spots. This parking lot charged $20. I wanted to move out of south Florida to enjoy a laid back area. This wasn’t it. Any city that doesn’t see its better to increase revenue from increasing business isn’t the kind of forward thinking area I want to buy into. Keep in mind this was during the week. There would be no chance of getting metered parking during the weekend. So maybe this isn’t a fair review of the pier because I never got to see it. Maybe it’s exactly the review the pier deserves when it tries to gouge people on the parking.Sincerely,Looking for a better city to buy a home in…

Today was my 2nd time visiting this restaurant. On my 1st visit... the food arrived cold and the Rum Runner was disgusting. The ONLY thing enjoyable was the view. Nonetheless... I gave it another go the following day. We drove an hour to get there and once we arrived... after waiting 45 minutes we were provided a table with a horrible view. We asked if we could be relocated to a seat on the pier. I told our waitress that we would wait for as long as it took. She said that she would let the hostess know and that we shouldnt be forced to sit in an area that we werent happy with. She eventually comes back and says... its nothing that they can do and its either sit there or nothing. Well turns out... the hostess was really the General.Manager. He had a very bad attitude... We choose to leave. Before we left we walked out to see the beach and from the Beach we had a good view of the pier dining area for the supposedly packed restaurant... Needless to say... it was SEVERAL tables available... atleast 10 of them. The GM is a liar and has NO customer service etiquette. We will NEVER spend our money here again. Just giving us an available seat couldve solved this. Then he says... its 1st come... 1st serve... Well.. HELLO sir... we were 1st!!!! We chose Coconuts instead and were so happy with the service that we received.

My wife and I ate breakfast on the pier and the food was not as good as we hoped. Partly my fault for ordering crispy hash browns. They were almost not edible. The bacon jalapeno mushroom omelet was good except for the bacon which was very skimpy and seemed to be bacon bits. We also got the gravy and biscuits, the portion was very big but the biscuits were over done and it wasnt super tasty. However I might try it again with a side order of sausage. The mimosas were good, and there is a nice view of the beach and the volleyball players. Unfortunately, I was there the day before, and they told me about breakfast, but they didnt tell me it was not served at the end of the pier which only opens after breakfast is served. That was very disappointing. Next Im going to eat lunch or dinner or appetizers at the end of the pier when its open. Not very crowded.

We got shaved ice, and cotton candy and then ate at the Rikki tiki restaurant at the end of the pier. A very nice family friendly beach experience and our food was delicious. Only real complaint was our waitress was kind of rude and short with us. My phone wasnt pulling up the menu, when I scanned it. So this place had great ambience, friendly people waves crashing underneath added to the atmosphere as well.I ordered crab cakes, dozen oysters, and also the grouper sandwich blackened. The oysters were so fresh and delicious I ate them without getting a photo sorry about that one decent sized as well. Now for the entrees I got the pictures! The grouper was tender flaky type of white fish perfectly seasoned with a little cajian spice. Each bite was juicy and filled with flavor mouthwatering with every bite on a sweet bun that I can only relate to a less sweet hawaian roll which was awesome by the way.The crab cakes had to have the best in my food adventures yet the umami factor just WOW BLAME POW IN YOUR FACE. That bite was off the word popping with flavor not to mention these were grilled as well. These were served with house mad ranch was is a star of the show on its own as well. The pier can throw down if your ever in the area give it a try.Again this was my experience and everyone has their own so Share yours but wow I was happy to have stopped here.

What an embarrassment, we ended up watching from the beach, isn’t $30 a car enough….why didn’t the guys at the booth let us know this? I told them we were going in to see the launch, we were dressed in street clothes, and they had no problem taking my $60 in cash! What a rip off. We love to have a drink after surfing at the end of the pier bar and watch the action below.
