They fixed the front of my car and amongst other things they replaced the front bumper. When we picked it up you could visibly see that the front bumper was sticking out. They complained and they apologized and said they would fix it now or we can bring it back in. Since we needed the car we said we would come back and they promised to cover the rental and fix bumper. When we finally came back the service manager noticed some scratches on the bumper and told me that this was what caused the bumper to stick out. I explained that this was not true. Offered to show pictures and the other employees signed note but he kept ignoring me and went on and on about the scratches. I got frustrated and he finally agreed to fix it with the Caveat that it will never be 100% because of the scratches in the front. So he took the car into the shop for 10 minutes and brought it back in the bumper was better situated but not perfect. You could still visibly see that the one side stuck out more than the other but because of how frustrated I was I knew there was no point arguing with them so I told him if it comes out anymore I’d bring it back in and he agreed to fix it again. This is not a professional company. I will never choose to work with them again.

Brought my car here because someone hit my car while trying to park. Jefferson (the specialist who assisted me) and Jimmy (the Director) both went above and beyond to make sure my car was delivered to me in perfect condition and for the most competitive price possible. I shopped around at 3 others places and A1 Body & Glass was the most reasonable and worth every penny considering the quality of work they do. The wait was as expected (5 days depending on the type of repair). Took my vehicle in for repair and paid out of pocket, upon receiving my vehicle back there was a screw in front passenger tire. Brett the service manager pulled out the screw and said there were no issues with the tire and that if there was to contact him and he will have the on sight mechanic take care of it. By the time I got to the office my tire was flat. There was a hole were the screw had previously been. I paid to have it plugged and contacted Brett he told me he would take care of it. When I went back they completely disavowed the issue and refused to take responsibility for the issue as they promised. Jim tbe office manager also refused to acknowledge the issue and I was told the Operations manager would call me. Truly a terrible experience I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

They gave me an unrealistic quote to paint my car the same color!!! That was after me waiting for almost an hour while one man was working and 2 other guys were chatting and goofing off!!!! No crashes....no dents....They wanted $6,000 !!!!! !NEVER GO HERE!! TOTAL RIP OFF!

I had auto body repairs completed in October 2020, paid the final bill in full as presented, took my car home. Three months later, I am contacted by their “collection agency “ and harassed because they “forgot” to include the insurance carrier’s deductible in their bill.I was a restaurant business owner and if my staff did not include an amount to the final bill that was paid, then my business sense is not to bother that customer three months later. Instead, they engaged their obscene and ignorant collection agent to harass a former customer.I will never do business with this company again and will actively advise all friends and family to never give their business to this company again.

Ha Omg what a joke. We patiently waited for over 45 minutes for someone to attend to us for a simple quote.5 men stood around while one guy worked on a fender. You could over hear in the back ground the meaningless conversation about there recent trip to only be interrupted the by desk clerk a 3rd time letting him know we were still waiting.The guy finally comes out says is this insurance or cash I say cash he says which one the subaru? I said yes sir.We walk to the car I explain I need dents and scratches removed and a fresh paint job. The guy takes one look at one side of the car and says $6k. I have to take the whole car apart etc etc plus were going to break stuff and the parts arent cheap I gotta take the glass out.I smiled asked mom to get in the car. I thanked him for my wasted time and we left.Weve built many many many cars yearly.Yes painting a car can be tedious, its best if you dont take it all apart, yes clips and things can break.But you know how you sometimes dont wanna do a job so you give a crazy high number to get them to leave.Thats exactly how I felt.They will never ever ever receive any recommendations to our clients.Anyways we sent the car to another reputable paint shop and theyre dismantling the whole car and taking care of everything for $1,500 after hearing what happened.Ill be offering photos of the final results. 🤌

Received damage on my car, this shop was suggested by geico.I got the car back in the rain, with little opportunity for inspection. The windshield was not OEM and did not line up correctly, reading the VIN number under the windshield is now an acrobatic event to try and get a low enough angle, and you will need a flashlight. Theyve informed me that this is normal...The back side of the vehicle (which had not previously been damaged) had a large paint discrepancy next to the fuel door. It looked like a buffing wheel was aggressively held against the paint removing all clearcoat. This was fixed on a return visit.The reassembly of the front end came with certain missing hardware pieces, plastic snaps, screws, etc.The work got done, and the employees at the shop were accommodating to an extent. Im not happy that my windshield doesnt line up properly but it doesnt have all the cracks and chips that were in it before so its at least an improvement but not perfect.If you are very particular about your car this is not the shop for you.If you just want your car in and out and driveable with a personable staff then this is the shop for you.

Small collision job. Car was repaired in less than three days and think they did a good job. Reason Im taking the time to review is because they returned our car so clean! Not just washed but detailed!

This is our go to body shop. Ive brought my car here twice for three different repairs and Ive never been disappointed. Theyre fast, thorough and most importantly, communicative. Theyre location is welcoming and modern, and very convenient. I highly suggest A1 Body and Glass and Im really happy I was referred to them by another happy customer. If I ever need to, Ill take my car again.

Although the customer service at the front desk was very helpful, the service for the repairs was not at all pleasant. We advised the A1 service writer technician, to take their time and do the job correctly. He replied, We would take good care of it and its in god handsMy Wife and I was advised the vehicle was ready multiple times, when attempting to pick up the vehicle on several occasions 1) The front bumper had a scratch (caused by the accident) and not repaired.2) Second visit the rear bumper cover luggage protector was not on the car. 3) Third visit basically the car was missing a rubber seal and another very concerning issue was noted, that was very disturbing!Wife and I was very disappointed in the repair, numerous times to see the car (which was not done) and recommend that if you have insurance and they advised to take it to their preferred body shop, look into the body shop company first!Im sure at one point their repair service was fantastic, after all this experience with this body shop and the final pick up for the car, the rubber was still missing from the door and I had to wait 15-30 min for the car to be ready. Being frustrated, we decided to take the car and bring it to another shop for the correct repairs to be made, per our insurance company. Unfortunately my wife coworker had the same related issues and if we would of known this prior to having this shop doing our work we surely would of took it to another shop! Thanks but, never again. I presently would not recommend this shop to anyone for any repair!John

First of all, we made an appointment a week in advance, to get our car fixed then when we arrived at 8 am they told us that they couldnt take care of us for another 2 weeks because they had gotten in a bunch of cars during the week to get fixed, who didnt have appointments. Now I dont understand, if I make an appointment that takes president over walk ins? Correct? Then when they finally did take our car they screwed it up the first time and it took them an extra week to fix their own mistake. Then when I went to pick up my car they tried to put on a piece of trim that was old and damaged and told me the insurance company wasnt going to pay. Are you kidding?? I called BS on that. So basically a small repair that should have taken no more than 3 days took 5 WEEKS!!! Terrible professionalism. Never, will they get my business again.

I actually didnt get any work done on my car at this place but, I went in for an appraisal and was surprised to find that every one else had given me a high quote compared to other options that could be done instead for a lot less cost. I spoke with Guy and I felt he was very honest with me because of that I actually went back a second time just recently for a different quote. In the end I got my car fixed for free and decided to live with the minor damage but had that not been possible I would have chosen them. I hope you, the reader find this information helpful.

Had a wonderful experience. I had an inconvenient accident that was not my fault. I made an appointment to drop off my car and pick up a rental. I was recommended to this place from my insurance company. I literally had to go back and forth with this place-which they point the blame to the insurance company, I had front end damage to my car that affected my a/c compressor and condenser which needed to be replaced. They finally fixed it months later of rigging it up SMH. I recently got my oil changed at the dealership and they ask did I have major work done to the front end because the sub frame bolts were not tighten...... Crazy- that you will work on someones care and not care for the persons safety. I would not recommend going to this place-

I brought my car here, to change the back window glass, because of the good reviews that I read. However, Im very disappointed with their service. I received s call from them letting me know that the glass is there and I would receive a call to set up an appointment to have their technician come to me and install it. Today is Friday and I havent got any call from them. I called and besides the terrible customer service I received, no service representative talked to me and they keep giving me the turn around. I guess Ill have to go personally and resolve this in another perspective.

Just picked up my car today. I have to say I was impressed with their service and the whole experience. Its a very nice building and when you enter feels like a law office more than a service. I had an appointment and did not wait more then 3 minutes for a Geico specialist to take me in, look at the car and tell me what they have to do. Later on they sent me a written estimate. This morning they called me my car is ready for pick up. Car was washed, waxed and vacuumed. Service manager went with me through everything and even told me what and how they replace different parts - my damage was $3300. Overall, very pleasant experience!

My car door wont open! I am beyond upset and disgusted with this company (Deerfield location). Problems after problems for three months. First they lost my check, now a door that they repaired wont open! I went in for resolution and the managers disputed with me, claiming that the door wire went bad (on a 4 year old Mercedes!?) and that they would charge me to fix it! The door wiring was perfectly fine before I came in. They give incentive to customers for five start reviews, do not fall for it! I witness many customers coming back in to complain about their repairs. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Shady and rude !

Amazing experience! My car went in on friday and got out on wenesday. Very quick and kept me updated all along. The guy taking care of me was Jeff very nice guy who made sure that my quote wich was done way back in december would still be the same. A1 did an absolutely amazing job on my Scion tC. The car came out flawless! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Being that it was my first experience with body shops I was a bit hesistant and indecisive as to which to go but at A1 Body my needs and expectations were met. Despite my constant paranoia they patiently dealt with me and were glad to address every concerns of mines with no hesitation. Francesca in particular was very professional and courteous in making sure all my expectations as minor as it seemed was met. Definitely recommend them.

The WORST experience ! One of the receptionist [cant remember her name] as no clue what customer service is about, extremely unprofessional and dressed like she was heading to the club. The geico advisor Darryl who was dealing with my case was absolutely no help, do yourself a favor if geico refers you to the shop choose another one ! They did a sloppy job on my car and gave me scratched up parts had I not examined my car they would have let me drive off with those parts that they so called replaced. Francesca on the other hand was such a great help with assisting me.
