Brought my Xbox in because it wouldn’t turn on. Guy couldn’t fix the issue but they still charged me 45 bucks. Told me my best bet was to buy a new Xbox. Will never be using their services again and will not recommend them to anyone. (Edit) Owner response says the charge was for the cleaning which makes sense but the cleaning didn’t fix the issue which is my Xbox not turning on. My Xbox is still broken and now I’m out 45 bucks that I could put towards a new device you did nothing for me except clean my garbage. Not to mention the Xbox made a slight sound when trying to be turned on now it is completely dead not only did you not fix it you somehow made it worse.
P C Cowboy, the Cody shop that has fixed our computers in the past, dropped the ball on repairing our surround sound system. The owner, Jimmy, came to the house on Thursday, October 8, and diagnosed that our 15-year old Denon receiver was dead. He said we needed a new one, moved a couple of cables around behind the cabinet so we could hear TV, and said he’d call me on Monday with a price. He didn’t call.On Tuesday, I called him and asked what the price was. He made excuses about how he couldn’t get me a quote for the new Denon receiver from his preferred suppliers. I also called his cell phone on Thursday which irritated him. On Friday, October 16. I called him at his office and he fussed at and cursed me for being too persistent.I reminded him that I had called P C Cowboy because he knew what I wanted and could easily set up the new unit using his expertise. He said yadda yadda yadda about Denon and Crutchfield not getting back to him (hours on hold, the Corona virus, etc.). and that he’s been very busy doing other projects. I said I could buy what I wanted online and have it delivered next week. He shouted, ‘Fine! Buy it online! I don’t want to work with you anymore!’I called Crutchfield and, after 4 minutes on hold, talked to a guy who knows his Denon equipment. Told him what I want/need and he found the modern model of our dead receiver that will function well. He sent me a link that displayed the model and its specifications. I checked it out and bought it right away. It arrives on Wednesday, October 21 with free shipping and free telephone tech support for setting it up. Problem solved by a short phone call which involved no shouting or cursing.I do not recommend P C Cowboy to anyone who expects prompt, polite, and personal service.
Great store.
Asked for a new laptop battery, told me I never asked then lost my cord and said I never brought one. Beyond rude to me. No solution offered. Bad business, dont go there!
Worst service ever. They had my PS4 from may through December. They sent it off to get fixed. Once it came back we took it home and tried it instantly. And it was still broken. We took it back and were told they would try to fix it or get ahold of the company that tried to fix it. I called to check in multiple times throughout this endeavor, and every time was told I’d get a call back (which never happened) finally we went in for a refund as our console was torn apart collecting dust for months! And the owner offered a partial refund in the form of in store credit, when questioned about why that was the case the owner told us to leave his store or he was calling the police! So he still has our ps4 and all of our money! Don’t risk it! Horrible service!
Bought used computer from them works great
Very poor customer service. Not only that the time they take to fix things is so bad. No knowledge of what they sell as well.
I lost the charger cable to my laptop so I called and asked if they had any and he said he had new and some used. When I shown up he already had a box of chargers ready and we found one that worked in no time!
Best computer service ever
Great stuff
