Friendly & helpfull people finding what I was looking for. Store is clean and the isles didnt have stuff (small displays) to have to walk around them. This store is ACE in my book. Thank you and Ill be back.

Everyone here is kind and very helpful. They treated me like a human and didn’t talk down to me. I often get supplies/hardware for my business from a big box store, but I won’t be going there anymore. They did not talk down to me, or ask me if I was doing a craft project like they always do at the other stores. They also seemed very genuine in their interactions. Robert in the paint department went out of his way to help me research and find a suitable replacement for what I needed. Thank you, Legacy Ace Hardware for being so amazing!

This is no regular Ace Hardware. Its one of the best hardware stores Ive ever been to in regards to selection and customer service. They also have a great selection of outdoor equipment, clothing, coolers, grills, etc. The store is locally owned and I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners this last trip. I try to support small business anytime I can and their prices, selection, and always outstanding customer service warrants this review. Skip the big box stores that so often dont have what youre looking and go to Ace. Youll be glad you did!

Courtney Angel @ Legacy Ace Hardware ROCKS! She spent time researching grill regulators for us, made numerous phone calls and called us back twice. In the end, she was unable to get us the part we needed for our grill before our camping trip- however…..she sent us a personal email with other places rated on BBB that we could order the replacement part from and told us to enjoy our trip! This above and beyond customer service made my day!!!

I love Ace cuz the crew is definitely interested in helping. Sadly, only a few know the answers. But either way, the experience is personal here unlike Lowes or HD where ya can lost in the crowd.I like the owners personal touch on the facility, carrying a wide variety of items not just hardware type items.

Huge store with everything and more than the older store that closed down in Bryan. Come with a list and a budget. Or else you will find an expensive surprise that you really must have. Like really expensive, tuned and long, wind chimes (about $160).

Great place to grab some hardware and get some awesome help. Even if you dont know what you need. The workers were very courteous and gave plenty of suggestions and answered and asked questions to help me get what I eventually realized I needed.Definitely going to frequent here for my hardware needs.

Staff is warm, welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Consider this place over Lowes and Home Depot you wont regret it. Love my Big Green Egg, best grill ever. Check out their selection. The staff are experienced with this type of grill and usually have everything in stock.

I wish we stopped thinking major hardware store brands when we need something. I was looking for hose brackets went to major outlet and couldnt find what I wanted. Came here and Voilá! Staff is friendly and eager to help. Store has everything you need. Nice place to shop.

Wow, totally enjoyed this Ace Hardware. Great home goods, hiking gear and top level jackets, hiking boots. Had a blast looking in this store. Like no other Ace Hardware I have ever been in. Kudos to the owners!

Everyone here was so nice and helpful. They carry a brand called ruffwear for my dog that I cant find in any other store. The employees are very knowledgeable and personable. If I cant find something in the store then they will go above and beyond to help me find what I need. I was in the store the other day and was worried that I was going to have to settle on a blue leash but they offered to order me the color that I wanted which is just super nice and something they did not have to do but wanted to do. Legacy Ace Hardware is one of my favorite stores to go to now.

I purchased a piece of 4x4 from lowes and they said they couldnt cut, okay cool. I called Ace Hardware and asked could they cut my piece of wood and they said yes. Took it immediately to Ace, and Warren and Randy did fantastic job. THANKS Guys

Did not have the specific, old, somewhat unusual plumbing part that I needed. But they went out of their way to try and help me at least get the bathtub working, until I can get to correct parts for a 70 year old fixture.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the price for my item was the lowest in town, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Big plus was meeting their big friendly shop dog Darwin. Will definitely be back, if not just to see Darwin again

Just walked in and an old man working was very rude and unprofessional. Wouldnt give me his name. I wouldnt recommend this business to anyone. I had to get rude with him, I walked out and went to home depot to spend my money

This is the best hardware store I have ever been to!!! Came in with a unique problem and Grant helped me fix it completely and was super awesome the entire time it happened! The Best ACE Hardware, period

I have been to Ace Hardware 4 times since there opening and they have continued to impress me each time with the quality of customer service and wide variety of selection. Upon each visit, multiple staff have gone out of there way to make sure you are finding what your looking for, and will personally go and help you find the specific item you need. Prices are reasonable, although not a steal. If you need a specialty bolt or nut, they have the best in town selection I have seen. Highly recommend supporting Ace Hardware by visiting their store!

Always the best customer service. Everyone is so pleasant and kind especially to my kids. One Saturday we were given seeds and dirt to plant in a cup and they always have free popcorn. It’s the extra touch that counts and why we chose this Ace over big box hardware stores.

Prices are high, but it could be a neat place to find an unusual gift item. At the front of the store is a gift shop area. Free popcorn, too! Also convenient location for those of us who live near A&M campus.

Went to buy Magnolia paint, was surprised they had a bigger selection of this paint than Target. Sales rep helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back.

No need to go to the BIG box hardware stores. Even though this is a chain store - it never feels that way and the people there know their stuff and they are friendly! They dont avoid eye contact with you when they walk past you...they seem to genuinely care about helping you.

I couldnt tell which was worse, loss prevention or customer service. I was confused whether they were trying to sell me something or see if i was stealing, ended up leaving and making purchase elsewhere.

Sadly unlike the Austin location they don’t sell Benjamin Moore paint. Employee who answered the phone wasn’t knowledgeable on any question I asked and seemed confused. Will try this location out again hopefully a better experience next time.

I’ve visited this store several times since opening, and each time I still wonder how Lowe’s and Home Depot get customer service so wrong. The selection is spot on (they probably have what you need), the prices are the same as the big box stores, you don’t have to navigate a giant warehouse/store, the sales associates are actually helpful and available, and it’s owned/operated by folks from the BCS community.So if you want to find the stuff you’re looking for quickly and easily, and support your community rather than a giant chain store, then drop by and see Legacy Ace.
