I have lived in multiple states over the years due to my work, and this maybe my all time favorite Home Depot. It seems bigger than most HDs and has a great selection of home related items. Its farther than my normal HD store but I think is worth the drive

I like the store itself. But I went to the customer service desk where there was a huge line so I went to a cashier because all I wanted was them to check the balance on a in-store credit card I had. The cashier I went to told me he couldnt do it at his register (which is not true because they have done it before) he told me to go to customer service. That is what they do is check the balance. I noticed on his shirt/name tag it said customer service rep so please explain!?! He should no how to do it then and no that you can check it at any register.

Always a friendly staff. Always have what I need. Plenty of self checkout lanes . Customer service and the garden area very helpful and efficient. Never a bad experience.

The Chief Operating Officer of my company assigned me the task of decorating for a retirement party. This was a last-minute assignment. I needed a gold spray paint. Although they were out of the glittery gold I found a great substitute. I painted the vases and the event and décor were a hit. I got lots of compliments.

Picked up the necessary items for the upcoming spring clean up, lawn preparation & maintenance.  They had everything I needed.

I really like this location because its a small box box format & tends to be a little less crowded than the usual HD. Lots of employees working the aisles that are happy to help you find what you need in a jiffy! If you know what you want this is a great place to pop inn get your good and be on your way in a few minutes instead of hours.

Customer service deserves -5 stars. Had a problem with gift cards purchased here. Promised to get back to me with a resolution, never did. Called online help several times, no luck, just kept me waiting for a while or they promise that case manager will get in touch but they never did. Went in-person to complain, oh! Manager said she forgot to contact me, even when I had called twice, corporate deemed the transaction fraudulent. How so, when I presented my ID and debit cards with my name in them. She has no idea, corporate said so and thats that. They just do not care.

Friendly staff on duty. We were asked several time while shopping in the store if we needed help. Purchased everything we needed even clothe detergent. Lol, yes we did.

From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted and offered help. I had a list I was given from my dad of electrical items that I knew nothing about. And they sent a older gentleman down the isle to help me. He went through my entire list one by one and he was completely knowledgeable of what I was asking for. He had so much patience with me and did it with a smile. It turned my day around because I went to lowes right before that and they wouldnt help me and told me it wasnt their fault employees didnt want to come work. A random customer had to help me.

Every home Depot Ive been to, with no exception to this one, is always helpful and attentive to their customers. If they dont have what I am needing they go above and beyond to find an alternative solution to my problem. Always have what I need in stock cashiers always friendly.. no complaints.

I paid four thousand dollars for flooring and installation three months ago. At the time, the Home Depot associates gave me an estimated installation date of one week. A month later, they finally call me and tell me their installer is busy and won’t be available for installation for another two months. The floors are finally delivered to my house last week for acclamation. The delivery guys tell me it’s completely fine to leave the product in the garage so that’s where it sat until installation day. The installation guy shows up and the first thing he says is the floors can’t be in the garage and now I have to reschedule but the earliest opening they have is in another two months. I immediately call Home Depot and they have the audacity to try and charge me $100 for the installation guys busted trip. This has been an absolute nightmare from the very beginning.

My experience at The Home Depot was very good. I used their app to quickly find what I was looking far and the app showed me exactly where to go. The store was clean and the self checkout easy to use.

Heath in the kitchen counter/cabinet area was a great resource for our kitchen remodel. Unlike other places weve been like Lowes and the countertop shop, Heath asked what we wanted for our kitchen rather than telling us what we should get based on his opinion. It really made a huge difference and was ultimately the reason we picked home depot for our project. We also really liked that the cost of Granite was really reasonable here compared to the other places. Between the 6 Mos no interest, the great customer service from Heath and the better than the competition prices, we will likely be shopping at home depot more frequently. Thanks, Heath!!!!

Its not too late to get flowers and vegetables!!! They still have a great assortment. They also have lots of hostas!!! If you are a crafter, they have a great buy on 3 pack of mop heads for making mop angels!!!! 😇

I always choose this store as my first choice. This store carries exactly what Im needing or something that will work comparable. There are two specific workers that make my whole shopping experience easier. Ashley and paint knows how to match the paint perfectly like no other and Mary at checkout can count the boards before you even walk up to her. She is quick and efficient knowing that when you work and this field you have to be fast, therefore she is the fastest there is and I have yet to see her in a bad mood so she makes the whole work day start off nicely

I SPEND BIG MONEY IN THIS STORE. WELL OVER $100K A YEAR. I WENT IN TO THE COLLINSVILLE LOCATION TO RETURN SOME SURPLUS ITEMS I didnt need for a job. I was waiting 30+ minutes for my money with my receipt. Some woman named Dawn got extremely rude & unprofessional with me. Needless to say, they lost out on a lot of money on me, because Ill do my business elsewhere.

We worked with the counter and cabinet lady today. She was very friendly and helpful, they are only there from 9am-6pm fyi so you dont arrive to early like we did.

Bought a Christmas tree from this store. But it seems to me the tree might be an returned item after I got home. The center part and the top part were connected together right out of the box. The bag with the manual and extra bulbs was open. And then I found out there is no plug after I put the tree together! Someone might have cut the plug off. Yes, there is no plug and there was cut signs on the wire. Have Home Depot ever checked the return item before resell to someone else?

Excellent store decent people. However, this store needs to learn how to communicate with their colleagues and be clear on policies and procedures. It is abundantly clear that our refrigerator was lost were sold, but the white refrigerator turned black in the box but we dont mind. prices are great so we will be purchasing a black stove when the time is right to make our new black refrigerator.

Cant use cash at self checkouts

Didnt have luck finding different type of compressors. Sometimes I like to find things on my own. Found the dewalt combo nailer with a dewalt 6 gallon compressor. I was looking for something a little bigger.

Always there to help! Sometimes its hard to find a worker and get the actual help you need....before going through 5 different employees 🤦🏼‍♀️most of the time I prefer Lowes over Home Depot but for convenience.... HD is the quick fix at times. 💲💲💲

I ordered a $300 gas log fireplace set online to be delivered to the Collinsville, IL store. It shipped from Greensboro, NC (1/29) and arrived in Los Angeles, CA (2/05). Thinking that shipping from North Carolina to California, while passing its destination (Illinois) was suspicious, I called the Collinsville store and they assured me a separate Purchase Order # they had said it would be to their store on 2/07 and to call back. I called 2/07, they couldnt verify it was at the store/told to call back. I called 2/08 and was told they dont get trucks on sundays (2/07), it still was not at the store and to call back on 2/09. I called back 2/09 and was told my product was still not at their store, they took my name/number and would call me back.Once they called me back, they confirmed my product shipped to the wrong store in California. They reordered me another gas log set and assured me it would arrive in Collinsville, IL on 2/26. Not wishing to be fooled twice/or wait that long, I asked them to cancel my order to which they advised they would. 15 minutes later I get a call back from Home Depot saying they could not cancel the reorder and issue my refund until they receive the product on or after 2/26. So because Home Depot took it upon themselves to reorder my product, without me asking, I wont receive my refund until the end of February when/if they receive the product and there was nothing they could do about it. The manager I spoke with on the phone was super nice; however, it does not take away the ball was dropped shipping it to the wrong store. Then a reorder was completed without telling the customer, until after the fact, and now I have to wait another two plus weeks before I can cancel the order/start the refund process. Unacceptable and no way to take care of a customer.

A great experience on this trip! I dont normally go to this particular location, but closer stores did not have what I wanted. I was actually approached to ask if I needed help, and then had no issues with an online order and pick up. I had help loading the bulky item into my truck without a wait or further incident.
